Abstract

This study aimed to: improve the activity and learning outcomes of studentsgraders XI MA Tholabuddin Masin Warungasem on materials Trigonometry. This study is a Classroom Action Research consist of pre-cycle, cycle I and cycle II. The mean of test scores of pre-cycle 6,29. Students who get grades below 6,1 by 11 people or 45,83%. The results of this study have not been satisfaction and more than 50% of students who have not been thoroughly studied. The facts show that the students gradersXI can not solve the given problem good, less willing to perform in front of the class, ask the teacher more less active, and unwilling to share their ideas. Therefore, to improve the activity and learning outcomes need to be applied model of cooperative learning type STAD.The results at cycle I show that mean the interaction of students 68,35% which the interaction of students with the teacher65,42% and interactions between each students 71,28%. The mean of test quiz is6,83. There are 3 groups as Good team, and 3 groups as Great Team. The mean of thetest evaluation 6,94 with 70,83% completeness. The results of the reflection on cycle I still need the cycle process to show that the activity and learning outcomes improve as expected.The results at cicle II show that mean the interaction of students is 80,03% has achieved successfully which the interaction of students with teacher 78,96% and the interaction between students 81,10%. The mean of test quiz 8,04 with 3 groups as Good Team, and 3 groups as Great Team. The mean of test evaluation7,95 with 87,5% completeness. The results of the reflection on cycle II show that the activity and learning outcomes of students with models of type STAD improves as expected.The results of calculation the response to the questionnaire that 89,59% of students satisfied with the cooperation in cooperative learning type STAD, 70,84% students brave to ask and respond the opinion, 83,34% students happy with the group award.Students clear with the material that has been delivered as much as 70,83%. Studentss are more motivated to learn as much as 87,5%. Students are satisfied with the quiz as much as 77,47%. Students are pleased with the presentations in class as much as 58,34%, and students are more appreciative of other student´s opinions as much as 62,5%. It can be concluded that the learning of mathematics by using cooperative learning type STAD, activities and student learning outcomes can be improved or higher.Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran Kooperatif, STAD, Aktivitas, Hasil Belajar

Abstract

Students experience in learning mathematics, they stated that the completion of word problems is more difficult than non-story. This happens because they are required to be able to understand , plan for completion and make a solution of the problem. Completion of word problems requires mathematical communication skills of each student .Therefore , teachers must be able to stimulate the students to improve communication skills by planning and implementing mathematical learning according to their condition. One type of cooperative learning is the CIRC , which emphasizes the ability to read  or understand the problems. This research is a quantitative study using experimental methods . The variable in this study is a mathematical communication skills as independent variables and mathematical learning model with the CIRC as the dependent variable . The data were obtained by using the test . The data were processed with one sample t-test and test Normalized Gain . The results showed that the average mathematical communication skills achieved by students is 76.71 . This value exceeds the specified KKM (KKM = 70) so as to achieve mastery learning. The results of test calculations mathematical communication skills improvement based on pre-test and post- test was 35.12 % , which means an increased interpretation capabilities including mathematical communication in the medium category . Based on the results obtained , it is known that the mathematical learning by using cooperative learning model CIRC can improve students mathematical communication skills .   Kata Kunci: Cooperative Learning, CIRC, mathematical communication skills

Abstract

AbstractThis study have the aim to determine what factors are influencing the low motivation of students in class XI. The study on grade XI students of SMA al-Fusha Pekalongan. Data collection using questionnaires. Interviews with 10% of all grade XI students to support the questionnaire data obtained. The results obtained are the factors that affect the low motivation of student learning such as place of learning, physical function, intelligence, facilities and infrastructure, time, study habit, teacher, parents, emotional and health, and friend factor.==================================================AbstrakPenelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui faktor apa saja-kah yang memepengaruhi rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa kelas XI. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap siswa kelas XI SMA al-Fusha Pekalongan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Wawancara dilakukan dengan 10% dari keseluruhan siswa kelas XI untuk mendukung data angket yang telah diperoleh. Diperoleh hasil yaitu faktor yang mempengaruhi rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa diantaranya tempat belajar, fungsi fisik, kecerdasan, sarana dan prasarana, waktu, kebiasaan belajar, guru, orang tua, emosional dan kesehatan, serta faktor teman.

Abstract

Artikel ini merupakan sebagian hasil penelitian pengembangan bahan ajar matematika berbasis masalah intrusi air laut. Bahan ajar tersebut perlu dikembangkan karena masalah intrusi air laut dan rob dinilai merupakan masalah yang dekat dengan warga Pekalongan, sehingga masalah intrusi air laut dan rob dapat digunakan sebagai pengantar pada pembelajaran matematika. Akan tetapi, sebelum dilakukan pengembangan bahan ajar, terlebih dahulu perlu diketahui pengetahuan awal siswa/mahasiswa mengenai masalah intrusi air laut dan rob. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengetahuan awal mahasiswa mengenai fenomena intrusi air laut dan rob. Pengetahuan awal yang dimaksud antara lain adalah pengertian intrusi air laut, pengertian rob, penyebab rob, dampak rob, dan cara menanggulangi rob. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Dari hasil analisis diperoleh bahwa sebanyak 73% responden belum pernah mendengar istilah intrusi air laut. Fakta lain yang diperoleh adalah bahwa sebanyak 73,38% responden familier dengan istilah rob tetapi hanya sebanyak 24% yang dapat memberikan definisi yang tepat tentang rob. Secara umum, mahasiswa responden juga belum mengetahui sepenuhnya penyebab, dampak, dan cara meminimalisir dampak rob. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengetahuan mahasiswa mengenai intrusi air laut dan rob masih kurang.

Abstract

The background of this classroom action research is the low ability of mathematics problem solving students in class VIII SMP Cokroaminoto Batang which is caused by the learning model applied which is still teacher-centered, as well as the lack of learning media facilities for students when learning is carried out online. To solve this problem, a classroom action research was carried out through a problem based learning model based on the e-module rocky RME. This research was conducted in 2 cycles. The instruments used in this study were a test instrument for students' mathematical problem solving abilities and teacher activity observation sheets to determine the implementation of learning through problem based learning model based on RME assisted by e-module in mathematics learning. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation and test methods. Furthermore, data from observations and tests were analyzed descriptively quantitatively.The results showed that: (1) The students' mathematical problem solving abilities had increased with students who scored ≥ 75 as many as 83.44%; (2) Implementation of learning with a problem based learning model based on RME assisted by e-module with a score of 85.71%.

Abstract

Abstract : Creativity is the ability of a person to create something new and is the result of a combination of some data or information obtained previously, manifested in an idea or a real work that requires the process and encouragement of the self or the environment in which the individual or group tingga. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of edmodo based learning media on student creativity in computer programming courses. The effectiveness of edmodo based learning media can be seen from the improvement of student creativity by using two paired sample comparation test and also Normalization of Gain to see how much increase of student creativity. The instrument used in this research is the observation sheet of student creativity. The result of the research shows the creativity of the students after the learning with edmodo based learning media is not the same as before the learning with the media. Based on the calculation with Normalized Gain obtained diperoleh The results indicate that the increase in creativity is included in the high criterion.Abstrak : Kreativitas merupakan kemampuan seseorang untuk menciptakan sesuatu yang baru dan merupakan hasil kombinasi dari beberapa data atau informasi yang diperoleh sebelumnya, terwujud dalam suatu gagasan atau karya nyata yang mebutuhkan proses dan dorongan dari diri sendiri maipun lingkungan dimana individu atau kelompok tersebut tingga. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas media pembelajaran berbasis edmodo terhadap kreativitas mahasiswa pada matakuliah pemrograman komputer. Efektivitas media pembelajaran berbasis edmodo dapat dilihat dari peningkatan kreativitas mahasiswa dengan menggunakan uji komparasi dua sampel berpasangan dan juga Normalisasi Gain untuk melihat seberapa besar peningkatan kreativitas mahasiswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar pengamatan kreativitas mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan kreativitas mahasiswa setelah pembelajaran dengan media pembelajaran berbasis edmodo tidak sama dengan sebelum pembelajaran dengan media tersebut. Berdasarkan penghitungan dengan Normalized Gain diperoleh Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kreativitas termasuk dalam kriteria tinggi.

Abstract

Tujuan dari artikel  ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah ditinjau dari kemandirian belajar. Model pembelajaran yang dibandingkan adalah MEAs dan PBL. Eksperimental semu merupakan jenis penelitian dari artikel ini. Penentuan sampel dilakukan secara cluster random sampling. Angket dan tes digunakan sebagai alat pengumpul data. Anava dua jalan dengan sel tak sama digunakan sebagai analisis data pada artikel ini. Hasil dari  analisis data dapat disimpulkan (1) kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa melalui MEAs lebih baik dari PBL, (2) kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa dengan kemandirian belajar tinggi lebih baik dari  siswa dengan kemandirian belajar sedang maupun rendah, kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa dengan kemandirian belajar sedang sama baiknya dengan siswa dengan kemandirian belajar rendah, (3) pada MEAs, siswa dengan kemandirian belajar tinggi memiliki kemampuan pemecahan masalah lebih baik daripada siswa dengan kemandirian belajar sedang maupun rendah dan siswa dengan kemandirian belajar sedang  memiliki kemampuan pemecahan masalah sama baiknya dengan siswa yang kemandirian belajarnya rendah. Sedangkan pada PBL, siswa dengan kemandirian belajar tinggi mempunyai kemampuan pemecahan masalah sama baiknya dengan siswa yang kemandirian belajarnya sedang maupun rendah, (4) pada siswa dengan kemandirian belajar tinggi, kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa melalui MEAs lebih baik dari PBL dan pada siswa dengan kemandirian belajar sedang maupun rendah, kemampuan pemecahan masalah melalui MEAs lebih baik dari PBL.Kata kunci: MEAs, Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah, Kemandirian Belajar

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh antara pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw dengan hasil belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Statistika Penelitian Pendidikan. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini dilakukan pada mahasiswa semester 6 program studi pendidikan matematika FKIP UNIKAL. Data diperoleh dari hasil belajar mahasiswa setelah mengikuti pembelajaran dengan kooperatif tipe jigsaw di kelas eksperimen dan hasil belajar mahasiswa pada kelas kontrol yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Rerata hasil belajar mahasiswa pada kelas eksperimen mencapai 72,79 sedang rerata hasil belajar mahasiswa kelas kontrol mencapai 65,37. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pemberian treatmen pada kelas eksperimen dengan menerapkan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan sehingga hasil belajar mahasiswa pada kelas eksperimen lebih baik dari hasil belajar mahasiswa pada kelas kontrol.

Abstract

Analysis of student responses in this study aims to determine the quality of Edmodo-based learning media products that have been developed. The results obtained on average show 81% of this indicates a positive response from students. The most prominent of the six indicators used are happy and interesting. The statement of happy indicator that is learning with learning media based on Edmodo make student happy to reach 88%. While the interesting indicator states Edmodo-based learning media is new in the lecture.
