Abstract

Studies on women who file for divorce in Aceh still need to be carried out to get an overview of the current problems and issues related to women who are filing for divorce. The problems experienced by women include conflicts in the household that encourage them to file a lawsuit to the Syar'iyah Court/Mahkamah until they get a permanent decision and have legal force from the judiciary. Even after divorce, women still face various obstacles to achieve happiness. This study aims to provide an overview of the current issues of women seeking divorce in Aceh. The research data are from observations and practical experience of researchers as professionals in women's and child protection service institutions and psychological service institutions. This study focuses on the psychological aspects experienced by women in stressful situations due to the end of the marital relationship. The results of the thematic data analysis show that the important issues related to women who file for divorce are; an increase in the divorce rate which requires the attention of the parties in an effort to reduce the divorce rate; the legal process in the Religious Courts/Syar'iyah Courts with therapeutic nuances; psychological dynamics of women who are suing for divorce which have an impact on the order of their lives so that they require intervention efforts, including empowerment in economic, psychological, and social aspects. The results of this study are expected to provide recommendations for all parties, including the government, village officials, private institutions, the general public and philanthropy, to seriously pay attention to women who file for divorce so as to minimize the negative impact of divorce on women and children.

Specifically, this research aims to achieve housing well-being by identifying the primary needs of housing well-being to encounter prosperous psychological problems. The present research is conducted in Region of Yogyakarta rent flats, Rusunawa Dabag and employed an action research approach to resolve the main questions answered by six steps. They are the entrance, taking diagnosis, action planning, action taking, evaluation, and reflection. The result of the data analysis finds that the problems of social control and a sense of community in interacting dynamically between individuals and their residences implicate cognitive, affective, and attitude processes. Based on the process and the result of the research, prompts are needed to achieve a harmonic situation to live in a vertical residence for aspirant residents, representative residents as a community, and administrators. The prompts are in the form of training aimed at developing preparation in understanding changes in living habits from landed houses to vertical flats for new residents. Furthermore, this research also revealed that the tenants of Dabag Rusunawa apply guyub (alliance), rukun (cordiality), and, tertib (orderly) as the main indicators in providing a sense of Pomah (a sense of comfort and prosperity at home).

Abstract

Since community-based disaster volunteers are the backbone of effective disaster preparedness programs, their helpful behavior is crucial in disaster-prone areas. The delivery of psychosocial support will be streamlined if volunteers' helpful conduct is understood. The purpose of this study is to determine the acceptability of the suggested volunteer helpful behavior model. Altruism and egoism-helping behavior are the study's endogenous variables. Social and personal norms, the degree of dependence, and the length of time spent volunteering are the exogenous variables. To address the research questions, a survey-based quantitative study was carried out. 292 community-based volunteers in the Yogyakarta Special Region Province, ages 20 to 61, participated in the survey. Covariance-based structural equation modeling (CB-SEM) was employed for data analysis. Maximum Likelihood Robust (MLR) is the estimate that is employed to overcome anomalous data. The model fits the data, according to the model accuracy index. The analysis's findings indicate that altruism helping behavior is influenced by personal norms and dependency level, and egoism helping behavior is influenced by social norms and dependency level. Implications of the study results: Building volunteer capacity must focus on enhancing society values, personal values, and circumstances enabling help such as standardized physical equipment, knowledge, and abilities.

Abstract

Organizational commitment has been conceptualised and measured in various ways. The current study was conducted to test aspects of three component model of organizational commitment which integrates the various concepts.  The three component of organizational commitment in this study are affective, continuance and normative commitment. The proposed independent variables were transformational leadership, transactional leadership and group cohesiveness which were assumed to have significant relationship with organizational commitment. The data of this study were collected through questionnaires carried out to 120 cadres who were active in one political party, considered as nationalist– secular party, in Yogyakarta. The study revealed that the three independent variables are empirically undifferentiated to the three components model of organizational commitment. Specifically, this study found that transformational leadership, transactional leadership, group cohesiveness, age and length of cadre membership are positively and significantly related to continuance commitment. When tested individually, it shows that age did not have positive relationship with the three component model of commitment.     Key Words: Leadership Styles,  Group Cohesiveness,  Commitment
