Abstract

Global economic development has led to the high complexity of society's needs. Financial institutions are here to provide facilities to meet the increasingly complex needs of society. However, the existence of problem loans can be a serious threat so classification techniques in data mining are used to overcome this problem. This research develops a model that can predict customers' ability to make credit payments so that financial institutions can avoid problematic credit. In this research, the SMOTE resampling technique is used to see the effect of sampling in dealing with class imbalance and conducting credit assessments. The research results show that the model built using SMOTE has better AUC than the model without SMOTE. From the two machine learning algorithms, logistic regression and random forest, the results show that the random forest model with SMOTE has the best performance with an accuracy value of 90%, precision of 92%, recall of 88%, F1-score of 90%, and AUC value of 0.97. Based on the best model, ten important features were obtained that influence the process of assessing credit repayment capabilities, namely the normalized score from external data sources, the period for changing customer numbers, the number of previous installment payments, the customer's age, registration time, the period for applying for credit at the credit bureau, the period for changing identity documents, the time for updating information at the credit bureau, and the length of time the customer has worked. In addition, this research produces visualizations via dashboards that can be used to improve the process of assessing credit repayment capabilities. Abstract

Masjid dapat menjadi salah satu tempat untuk memberdayakan ekonomi masyarakat melalui kehadiran Baitul Maal wa Tamwil (BMT). Dengan BMT, masyarakat atau jamaah di sekitar masjid dapat memanfaatkan untuk menyimpan dana serta mengajukan pembiayaan dalam peningkatan usaha masyarakat. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam pendirian BMT berbasis masjid sebagai Lembaga pemberdaya ekonomi masyarakat. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian menggunakan pendekatan The Training Cycle. Lokasi kegiatan bertempat di Desa Ciherang Pondok dengan focus peserta adalah pengurus dewan kemakmuran masjid yang akan menjadi pendiri dan pengurus BMT. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat yaitu 51,3 persen dari masyarakat yang mengikuti sosialisasi BMT. Selain itu, pendiri dan pengurus masjid yang mengikuti pelatihan juga mengalami peningkatan dalam keterampilan produk-produk penghimpunan dan pembiayaan yang akan digunakan oleh BMT. BMT yang didirikan juga sudah memiliki dokumen-dokumen yang digunakan untuk operasional BMT meliputi buku tabungan, formulir keanggotaan BMT, formulir setor modal awal, formulir permohnan pengajuan pembiayaan, dan formulir Surat pernyataan bagi calon anggota BMT.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the implementation of Istishna ‘aqd in investment financing at Koperasi syariah BMI, Ciawi branch. The issue addressed in this study is that the Istishna ‘aqd, substantively, is not an investment aqd but rather a sales aqd. Therefore, a comprehensive analysis is needed to determine the permissibility of utilizing the Istishna aqd in investment financing or to explore potential changes in the financing model or ‘aqd used. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through interviews and secondary data collection from the website, reports, and guidelines of Koperasi Syariah BMI. The study investigates how the Istishna ‘aqd is implemented in investment financing and its compliance with Sharia principles, aiming to conclude the feasibility of applying the Istishna ‘aqd in investment financing at Koperasi Syariah BMI. Based on the research findings, it is observed that the Istishna ‘aqd scheme applied in investment financing at Koperasi Syariah BMI is more aligned with the Fatwa DSN MUI No 06/DSN MUI/IV/2000 on Istishna, which involves a regular Istishna ‘aqd between two consenting parties. This approach deviates from the guidance of Fatwa DSN MUI No 32/DSN-MUI/IX/2002 on Sharia bonds, where Istishna is used in investment schemes, and is also inconsistent with Fatwa DSN MUI No 22/DSN MUI/III/2002 on parallel Istishna, as the cooperative already possesses a company engaged in building material provision. Despite the compliance of Istishna-based financing in Koperasi Syariah BMI with Fatwa DSN MUI No 06/DSN MUI/IV/2000, it is recommended that the cooperative adopt terminologies such as consumptive financing, productive financing, property ownership financing, or other terms in financing schemes involving Istishna ‘aqd. This suggestion is made due to the fact that cooperative members do not function as investors but as buyers seeking financing for development schemes such as housing, sanitation, and the provision of clean water.

Abstract

Rukti Endah Village is a village that is part of the administrative area of Seputih Raman sub-district, Central Lampung Regency. Rukti Endah Village has enormous livestock potential with a village area of 800 hectares where the majority of people are livestock breeders and farmers. One of the livestock MSMEs in Rukti Endah Village is CV Raman Farm Sejahtera, known as Raman Farm. Raman Farm facilitates livestock groups in the area to develop livestock care businesses called Hotel Ternak. The Hotel Ternak accepts care for livestock by customers to be raised until they are ready to be sold, one of which is goats. The more customers and livestock they entrust, the more difficult it is to manage the development history of each livestock. Apart from that, to expand the business network, customer trust is needed through more professional business management by utilizing information system technology. This activity aims to create an information system for monitoring goat enlargement including the health history of goats which is named the Goat Enlargement Monitoring Information System (SI MBEK) using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) system development method by means of iterative development, providing assistance and management training and use of goat farming information systems and carry out activity evaluations. The method for implementing community service used is Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) in which partners actively participate in this activity. The result of this community activity was the construction of SI MBEK. The application of SI MBEK can increase effectiveness in managing livestock hotels for rearing goats. Because it uses the RAD-iterative development model, SI MBEK can continue to be developed into the second version and beyond by adding features according to further needs.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the implementation of the Istishna contract in investment financing at Islamic Cooperative BMI. The study addresses the issue that, fundamentally, the Istishna contract is a sales contract, not an investment contract. As a result, an in-depth analysis is needed to assess the permissibility of using Istishna in investment financing or to consider potential adjustments in the financing model or contract type. The research uses a qualitative descriptive approach, gathering data through interviews and secondary sources such as the cooperative’s website, reports, and guidelines. It examines how Istishna is applied in investment financing and its adherence to Sharia principles, aiming to determine its suitability for use in such financing at Islamic Cooperative BMI. The findings indicate that the Istishna contract used in investment financing at Islamic Cooperative BMI aligns more closely with DSN MUI Fatwa No. 06/DSN MUI/IV/2000 on Istishna, which involves a straightforward contract between two parties. This differs from DSN MUI Fatwa No. 32/DSN-MUI/IX/2002 on Sharia bonds, where Istishna is applied in investment schemes, and also does not align with DSN MUI Fatwa No. 22/DSN MUI/III/2002 on parallel Istishna, as the cooperative already has a company dealing in building materials. Although the Istishna-based financing at Islamic Cooperative BMI complies with DSN MUI Fatwa No. 06/DSN MUI/IV/2000, it is suggested that the cooperative adopt terms such as consumptive financing, productive financing, property ownership financing, or other appropriate terms for financing schemes involving Istishna contracts. This is because cooperative members act as buyers seeking financing for development projects like housing, sanitation, and clean water provision, rather than functioning as investors.

Abstract

In an era where environmental concerns are escalating, air quality forecasting emerges. Forecasting is a crucial tool for addressing the adverse impacts of pollution on public health and ecosystems. In urban centers like Bandar Lampung, economic activities intensify pollution levels. This condition leveraging advanced machine learning forecasting methods can significantly mitigate these effects. This study evaluates the precision of long short-term memory (LSTM) and Prophet methods in predicting air quality. This study utilizes data from January 12, 2022 to November 9, 2023. The results reveal a distinct advantage of the LSTM method over the Prophet. The LSTM method showcases superior accuracy across all evaluation metrics. Specifically, the LSTM method achieved an average root mean squared error (RMSE) of 5.38, mean absolute error (MAE) of 3.94, and mean absolute percentage error (MAPE) of 0.07. In contrast, the Prophet method recorded higher error rates, with an average RMSE of 18.48, MAE of 15.61, and MAPE of 0.25. These numbers underscore the LSTM method's robustness and reliability in forecasting air quality. The result highlights its potential as a pivotal resource for environmental monitoring and policymaking to safeguard public health and promote sustainable urban development.

Abstract

Pengelolaan usaha produk UMKM di Desa Wates Jaya masih menemukan berbagai permasalahan pada pemasaran. Pemasaran produk masih tradisional, mengandalkan mulut ke mulut dan mengikuti pameran bazar yang diselenggarakan oleh pemerintah kecamatan. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan pemasaran dalam meningkatkan pendapatan usaha produk UMKM di Desa Wates Jaya Kecamatan Cigombong. Metode pelaksanaan yang diterapkan dalam kegiatan ini meliputi metode pelaksanaan pendekatan partisipatif, pendekatan kelompok, pendekatan individual, metode ceramah, dan metode diskusi. Adapun tahapan pelaksanaan kegiatan ini meliputi tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap evaluasi pelaksanaan. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian yang telah dilakukan dalam rangka pengembangan pemasaran produk UMKM dalam peningkatan pendapatan usaha di Desa Wates Jaya Kecamatan Cigombong mendapatkan hasil yang cukup baik. Hal ini terlihat pada peningkatan pengetahuan dan pemahaman pelaku UMKM terhadap desain promosi produk dengan perbandingan hasil pre-test dan post-test sebesar 38%, peningkatan keterampilan pelaku UMKM dalam penggunaa.n media digital yang dimanfaatkan untuk produk UMKM meningkat dari 48% menjadi 89%, dan peningkatan konten media social pelaku UMKM untuk mengenalkan produk UMKM secara lebih luas.

Abstract

Pendidikan inklusif di tingkat paling dasar yaitu tingkat Pendidikan anak usia dini, dipandang belum begitu optimal baik dari segi pengetahuan pengajarnya maupun dari segi implementasinya. Berbeda dengan satuan dasar, menengah dan Pendidikan tinggi dimana implementasi pendidikan inklusif sudah cukup dipahami dan diimplementasikan. Oleh karena itu, pengetahuan dan persepsi guru PAUD dan calon guru PAUD mengenai pendidikan inklusif menarik untuk diteliti. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai persepsi mahasiswa PG-PAUD UT Bogor terhadap pendidikan inklusif. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian survey. Subyek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa PG-PAUD UT Bogor. Mahasiswa UT Bogor memiliki kekhasan dibanding mahasiswa lainnya dimana mayoritas mahasiswa adalah guru PAUD yang sudah mengajar sehingga persepsi mahasiswa juga sekaligus merupakan persepsi guru PAUD terhadap Pendidikan inklusif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh Kesimpulan bahwa persepsi mahasiswa PG-PAUD terhadap Pendidikan inklusif berada diangka 75,04% mahasiswa Setuju terhadap penerapan Pendidikan inklusif di Tingkat PG-PAUD. Kontribusi penelitian dapat memberikan dasar bagi pengembangan kebijakan dan program pelatihan yang lebih tepat bagi guru PAUD serta dapat menjadi acuan bagi lembaga pendidikan dalam menyusun kurikulum yang lebih responsif terhadap kebutuhan inklusivitas

Abstract

In the competitive landscape of digital-era religious tourism, this study explores the influence of Electronic Word of Mouth (E-WOM) and influencer endorsement on purchase intention for Umrah travel services, with brand trust as a mediating variable. Using a quantitative, causality-based research design and SmartPLS 4 for data analysis, this study collected responses from 123 consumers of Niat Umroh Tour Travel. The results revealed that EWOM significantly impacts both brand trust and purchase intention, emphasizing the power of authentic consumer reviews in decision-making. Conversely, influencer endorsement positively affects brand trust but lacks a direct or mediated influence on purchase intention. Furthermore, brand trust was found to partially mediate the relationship between E-WOM and purchase intention, albeit not significantly. These findings highlight that consumer-generated content plays a more dominant role than influencer promotion in building trust and encouraging purchases in the context of religious travel. The study provides theoretical insights into the application of the S-O-R model and offers practical implications for optimizing digital marketing strategies through trusted consumer engagement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana tanggapan nasabah tentang produktabungan pendidikan berasuransi dan faktor apa saja yang dapat mempengaruhi secaraparsial dan simultan terhadap minat nasabah. Metode penelitian adalah survei, bentukpenelitian kuantitatif dan jenis data rasio dengan objek penelitian sebanyak 100 nasabahyang menggunakan produk tabungan pendidikan berasuransi di Kota Bogor. Berdasarkanhasil penelitian, secara simultan dan parsial variabel yang terdiri dari Pelayanan, Informasi,Reputasi, dan Pendapatan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan dan adapun faktorreligiusitas yang tidak berpengaruh tetapi signifikan terhadap minat nasabah produktabungan pendidikan berasuransi pada bank syariah mandiri cabang Kota Bogor.
