Abstract

This research aims to determine the application of the cooperative approach type talking chips in increasing participation and student learning outcomes in science learning in class IV B MI Nurul Islam Ciputat. This research was conducted in March 2020 in class IV B MI Nurul Islam Ciputat. The research method used was Classroom Action Learning (PTK) which was conducted in two cycles. The subject of this study consisted of 35 class IV B students of MI Nurul Islam Ciputat. The data collection techniques used werw observation, interview, test and documentation. The result showed that the was an improve in participation and student learning outcomes in cycle I and cycle II. The result of student activity observations showed an increase in student participation with an average percentage score of 72% with the good category in cycle I and increased to 83% in very good category in the second cycle. The result of the student learning test showed that the student obtained an average value of 72,94 with the complete category in the first cycle and increased to 81,88 with complete category in the second cycle. Based on the result of this study, it can be concluded that the application of the cooperative approach type talking chips can increase the participation and learning outcomes of class IV B student of MI Nurul Islam.Keywords: Talking Chips, Participation, Learning Outcome

Abstract

Pancasila is the basis of the Indonesian state, the birth of Pancasila through a long process by the founding fathers of the nation. Pancasila itself is a sacred state foundation because of the values contained in Pancasila. The millennial generation or the young generation is currently very instrumental in the development and enlightening of the nation. Millennial generation faces many challenges in the information age or 4.0 era. Not only domestic challenges but challenges from abroad must be faced by the Indonesian people, especially millennial generation. The hopes they have for the progress of the Indonesian people are implemented through actions that have a positive impact on the Indonesian people. Millennial generation gait in grounding the Pancasila starts from oneself and from the smallest things and invites the closest people to carry out the values contained in the Pancasila precepts. Keywords: the meaning of Pancasila, challenges and hopes, the work of millennials Abstrak Pancasila merupakan dasar negara Indonesia, lahirnya pancasila melaui proses panjang yang dilakukan para pendiri tokoh bangsa. Pancasila sendiri merupakan dasar negara yang sakral karena nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam Pancasila. Generasi milenial atau generasi muda saat ini sangat berperan dalam pembangunan dan mencerahkan bangsa. Generasi milenial mengahadapi banyak tantangan di era informasi atau era 4.0 ini. Bukan hanya tantangan dalam negeri namun tantangan dari luar negeri harus dihadapi bangsa Indonesia sendiri khusunya generasi milenial. Harapan yang mereka miliki untuk kemajuan bangsa Indonesia diimplementasikan melalui tindakan berdampak positif untuk bangsa Indonesia. Kiprah generasi milenial dalam membumikan Pancasila dimulai dari diri sendiri dan dari hal terkecil hingga hal yang besar yang dilakukan secara bekerja sama serta mengajak mengajak orang terdekat untuk melaksanakan nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam sila Pancasila. Abstract

Permainan tradisional dari provinsi Banten dan pembentukan karakter menghargai prestasi peserta didik MI/SD di Indonesia serta memberikan sedikit gambaran mengenai manfaat permainan tradisonal khususnya engrang dalam pembentukan karakter menghargai prestasi peserta didik MI/SD. Topik ini dilatarbelakangi oleh peristiwa dimana peserta didik lebih tertarik pada permainan modern berbasis teknologi canggih seperti game online, akibatnya banyak permainan tradisional yang mulai dilupakan oleh anak-anak bahkan terkesan asing untuk didengar. Selain itu juga permainan modern dapat menimbulkan efek kecanduan sehingga berpengaruh pada perilaku dan karakter peserta didik. Padahal diusia SD/MI adalah waktu yang tepat untuk anak dalam membentuk karakter mereka. Untuk itu, melalui permainan tradisional diharapkan dapat menjadi upaya dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik. Jurnal ini ditulis berdasar pada studi pustaka untuk menjelaskan bahwa permainan tradisional tidak hanya dapat mendorong peseta didik dalam berinteraksi social sesame teman tetapi sesuai dengan judul diatas bahwa karakter peserta didik dalam mengahargai prestasi juga dapat dibentuk melalui permainan tradisional. Untuk itu, permainan tradisional memiliki peran penting pembentukan karakter peserta didik seperti menghargai budaya Indonesia, sebab perilaku tersebut sudah menjadi prestasi bagi peserta didik dalam melestarikan kebudayaan Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstrak Permainan tradisional banyak yang mengandung nilai- nilai karakter, namun pada saat ini permainan tradisional tersebut semakin tergantikan oleh permainan digital seperti game online, playstation atau permainan yang terdapat di Handphone sehingga mempengaruhi karakter anak. Akibatnya mereka tidak memperdulikan kehidupan disekelilingnya, seperti memiliki dunia sendiri dengan gadged-nya. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini ditulis bertujuan untuk menggali dan mendeskripsikan nilai- nilai karakter dari permainan tradisional, yang salah satunya ialah Lojo /Palejo. Sehingga pada akhirnya dapat melestarikan permainan tradisional yang bermanfaat untuk menumbuhkan karakter anak. Fokus dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis nilai- nilai karakter yang terdapat didalam Lejo/Palejo khususnya pada siswa sekolah dasar. Hal ini dilatar belakangi pada usia ini merupakan usia bermain, maka kita perlu memberikan bimbingan tentang permainan yang baik untuk perkembangannya. Disamping itu, usia siswa sekolah dasar merupakan usia pembentukan kepribadian, sehingga penting sekali dilakukan penanaman karakter. Penelitian ini ditulis berdasar pada analisis studi pustaka. Hasilnya menunjukan bahwa permainan Lojo/Palejo dapat menanamkan dan membentuk nilai- nilai budaya dan membangun karakter anak seperti disiplin, jujur, mandiri, tanggungjawab, kerja keras, semangat, bersahabat, cinta damai dan musyawarah. Kata Kunci : permainan tradisional, anak MI/ SD, Lojo (palejo), nilai karakter. Abstract Many traditional games contain character values. These traditional games are increasingly being replaced by digital games such as online games, playstations or games on mobile phones that affect children's characters. As a result they do not care about life around them, like having their own world with its gadged. Therefore, this study aims to explore and describe character values of traditional games, one of which is Lojo/Palejo. The end goal is to preserve traditional games that are useful for fostering children's character. The focus in this study is analysis of character values in Lejo/Palejo, especially for elementary school students. This is because children at that age need to provide guidance on appropriate game for their development. In addition, age of elementary school students is age of personality formation, so it is very important to implement character. This research is a literature study. The results show that Lojo/Palejo game can apply and shape cultural values also build children's character such as discipline, honesty, independence, responsibility, hard work, enthusiasm, friendship, love of peace and deliberation. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of cross-line techniques on the ability of the student representation on the material multiplication in Al-Zahra Indonesia Elementary third grade second semester of the academic year 2017/2018. Cross-line technique is one technique that can facilitate students in operating multiplication on learning mathematics. The method used in this research is quasi experiment with Design Nonequivalent Contol Group Design. The sample used in this study consisted of 23 experimental class and control class which consisted of 22 students. The instrument used in this research is a test of mathematical representation ability in the form of description problem. The results showed that the average score of students taught by using cross-line technique is higher than the students taught without using cross-line technique that is with the value of 80,57> 70,05. The data analysis of the two classes was calculated using statistical analysis test on the final test (posttest). Based on the result of data analysis, there are significant differences between the two classes which are seen from the test result of Mann-Whitney U test hypothesis on post test data (0,048<0,05). In addition, based on the results of the calculation effect test (effect size) that has been done using the formula Cohen's got the value of the effect size of 0.561. The value of the influence test obtained interpreted that cross-line techniques have influence in the medium category. Thus, this indicates that there is an influence of the use of techniques that are cross-line to the ability of the mathematical representation in third grade elementary multiplication material of Al-Zahra Indonesia

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries in the world and is the largest multicultural country. Diversity is doesn’t only discuss the issue of race, but about religion, ethnicity, customs, and language. Each region has a different character and makes it the unique characteristic of the region. Diversity is one of the assets owned by the Indonesian state, but with the diversity it can trigger conflicts and divisions, ranging from racial, religious, ethnic, and cultural discrimination. In addition, the development of the era in the 4.0 era can also affect the occurrence of conflict. In this era a lot of technology continues to develop, so that many foreign cultures enter Indonesia easily, and can reduce the sense of patriotism. These problems can be overcome by applying attitudes that reflect the values of Pancasila and the value of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika. The Indonesian motto of Indonesian people is Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, the motto has different meanings but it remains one. Bhinneka Tunggal Ika is applied by Indonesia to reflect the value of unity and unity which aims to maintain the integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic Indonesia. Understanding the values of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika in multicultural societies is used as a pillar of nationalism, because it contains the values of tolerance and the value of justice. Generally tolerance and justice develop because of differences in people's lives. This paper aims to explain the importance of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika values in the implementation of daily life, espessially in the era of 4.0.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara bimbingan orang tua terhadap motivasi belajar pada saat pembelajaran jarak jauh peserta didik kelas 2 SD Muhammadiyah 12 Pamulang. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas 2 SD Muhammadiyah 12 Pamulang yang berjumlah 122 peserta didik dan jumlah sampel 61 peserta didik dengan random sampling. Data yang diambil untuk variabel bebas dan terikat menggunakan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik korelasi product moment pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data pada uji korelasi dengan taraf signifikan 0,05 didapat hasil dengan nilai sig. sebesar 0,000, hasil rhitung dibanding dengan rtabel (61;0,05) = 0,254 oleh karena itu rhitung ≥ rtabel maka Ha diterima Ho ditolak, sehingga hipotesis ada hubungan antara bimbingan orang tua dengan motivasi belajar peserta didik kelas 2 SD Muhammadiyah 12 Pamulang pada saat pembelajaran jarak jauh diterima. Dengan hasil korelasi  0,667 atau sebesar 44,48% maka hubungan bimbingan orang tua dengan motivasi belajar berkategori kuat/tingg

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya peningkatan keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPA melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share di kelas IV-A MI Nurul Islam. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model Kurt Lewin yang terdiri dari empat tahapan, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Penelitian dilaksanakan sebanyak dua siklus, setiap siklusnya terdiri dari dua pertemuan. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari 34 siswa kelas IV-A MI Nurul Islam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pada siklus I dan siklus II. Hasil observasi aktivitas siswa memperoleh rata-rata nilai dari 75 menjadi 80. Hasil tes belajar siswa memperoleh rata-rata nilai dari 70,25 menjadi 80,56. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan hasil tes belajar (posttest) yang diperoleh, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share mampu meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV-A.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between self confidence and mathematical problem solving ability of fourth grade students at SDN. This study uses a quantitative method with a correlation design. This research was conducted at SDN with a sample of 35 students. Data collection was carried out using an instrument in the form of a self-confidence questionnaire with a Likert scale model and a mathematical problem-solving ability test in the form of an essay. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant relationship between self-confidence and mathematical problem-solving abilities of fourth grade students at SDN with an r-count or Pearson correlation of 0.552> 0.334 with a significance value of 0.001 <0.05 which means that the higher the student's self-confidence value, the higher the mathematical problem solving ability of fourth graders at SDN, and vice versa. The value of the coefficient of determination of self confidence and mathematical problem solving ability is 30.47% and the remaining 69.53% is influenced by other factors

Abstract

This study delves into the intricate dynamics of cultural diplomacy and nationalism as orchestrated by Indonesian Schools in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, emphasizing the strategic role of performance arts in fostering international relations and national identity. The research aims to elucidate the involvement of students and teachers from the Indonesian School of Riyadh in cultural performances, delineating its significance in the broader context of Indonesia's diplomatic outreach in Saudi Arabia. Adopting a qualitative methodology, the investigation centered on interviews with twenty teachers who participated in cultural events in Riyadh from 2022 to 2023. These interviews, conducted via Google Forms, illuminated the proactive engagement of the Indonesian educational community in cultural diplomacy through music, dance, and cultural festivals. The findings highlight that these cultural performances serve not only as a medium of cultural expression but also as a pivotal mechanism in reinforcing the diplomatic ties between Indonesia and Saudi Arabia. Furthermore, the study reveals that these activities are instrumental in instilling a sense of nationalism among Indonesian students abroad, providing them with a tangible connection to their cultural heritage. The performances have been strategically employed to showcase Indonesia’s rich cultural tapestry, thereby facilitating a deeper cultural understanding and appreciation among the Saudi populace and international community in Riyadh. The research acknowledges the limitation of its sample size and calls for broader studies to assess the long-term impact of cultural performances on diplomatic relations and national identity construction. In conclusion, the study posits that cultural diplomacy through educational institutions like the Indonesian School of Riyadh has emerged as an effective tool in the post-Vision 2030 diplomatic landscape of Saudi Arabia, suggesting a transformative shift towards more culturally nuanced diplomatic engagements.
