Abstract

Many Indonesian citizens seek opportunities abroad, including becoming Indonesian workers in various countries, notably in South Korea. This phenomenon is further fueled by the global popularity of the Korean wave, attracting both Indonesian workers and students to Korea. With a significant proportion of Indonesia's population falling within the productive age range (15-64 years), there is a growing demand for diverse job opportunities. The recent boom in startup businesses, driven by technological advancements and government support, has provided a promising avenue for addressing these economic challenges. South Korea, known for its rapid technological development, offers an ideal environment for Indonesian workers in Korea to venture into startups. However, navigating the complexities of the Korean startup landscape, including fierce competition and intricate regulations, presents its own set of challenges. Building a robust network, understanding local regulations, and focusing on effective management and financial planning are essential for success. This community service initiative, conducted by IBI Kosgoro 1957 and the Indonesian Ambassador in Korea in collaboration with Kaya University and Busan University, aims to enhance the knowledge of Indonesian workers in Korea in the areas of startup business development, management, and finance. Through interactive seminars, discussions, and ongoing evaluations, this initiative seeks to empower Indonesian workers with the skills and insights needed to thrive in the competitive Korean market. The results and discussions from this initiative emphasize the importance of effective marketing strategies tailored to the Korean market, the significance of financial management in startup success, and the potential for Indonesian workers in Korea to build successful businesses by leveraging their unique experiences and networks. In conclusion, developing startup businesses in South Korea as Indonesian workers entails thorough market research, strong business planning, capable management teams, sound financial management, tailored marketing strategies, and adaptability. By effectively implementing these factors, Indonesian workers in Korea can enhance their prospects of establishing and growing successful startups in a competitive environment.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh profitabilitas, leverage, komite audit dan kepemilikan institusional terhadap manajemen laba. Penelitian menggunakan data sekunder. Adapun data diperoleh dan bersumber pada laporan tahunan Indonesia Capital Market Directory. Populasi penelitian ini merupakan seluruh perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa efek Indonesia (BEI) pada tahun 2016 sampai dengan tahun 2018 dengan sampel sebanyak 135 yang dipilih dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa profitabilitas berpengaruh terhadap manajemen laba, sedangkan leverage, komite audit dan kepemilikan institusional tidak berpengaruh terhadap manajemen laba.

Abstract

This program is carried out with the aim of providing education about recording and preparing financial statements in a simple and easy-to-understand way for UMKM actors, in this case the Ersha Parfum Store. The nature of this community service program is discussion-based socialization / counseling with the aim that the material we convey at the Ersha Parfum Store can be easily understood and answer the problems they experience in recording transactions in the business. The results of the community service program show that the Ersha Parfum Store is interested in slowly changing the way their transactions are recorded in the way we conveyed, because according to them, even with a slightly more recording flow, it is quite easy to read the business situation that occurs more easily. This shows that this service program is enough to increase their insight and interest in the structure of recording and preparing their financial statements.

Abstract

UMKM are widespread in Indonesia, especially in Jakarta. However, currently UMKM cannot be separated from a number of stimulus programs that have been launched by the government since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic that hit Indonesia. The number of UMKM has increased from year to year, but only a few UMKM have experienced developments in terms of their financial performance. This is because UMKM still have little knowledge in the process of recording accounting and low awareness of the importance of accounting information in the business world. Therefore, community service activities in the form of simple accounting introduction training for UMKM are still very much needed. Financial Management is an important aspect for the progress of UMKM. Financial management can be done through accounting. Accounting is a systematic process to produce financial information that can be used for decision making for its users. The use of accounting can support the progress of UMKM, especially in terms of finance. Based on the above, the service method used is simple accounting assistance for UMKM.

Abstract

MSME in Indonesia are one of the pillars of the Indonesian economy apart from cooperatives. The development of the number of MSME has increased from year to year, but only a few MSME have experienced developments in terms of their financial performance. This is because MSME still have weak knowledge of the process of accounting records and low awareness of the importance of accounting information in world business. Therefore, community service activities in the form of simple accounting introduction training for MSME are still very much needed. This training is intended for SMEs in Jagakarsa. Implementation of activities carried out by using the method of lectures, tutorials, and discussions. The results of this activity indicate that SMEs in Jagakarsa in running their business tend not to practice accounting. Some MSME actors in Jagakarsa also don't understand accounting and what the purpose of making financial reports is. This community service activity helps provide advice, motivation and knowledge to all MSME in Jagakarsa to implement simple training practices in their business activities so that they can improve their financial business performance

Abstract

The aim of this activity is to increase knowledge, skills and convenience for Baim Cell MSME entrepreneurs located in Beji, Depok. To manage finances in the form of reports. The techniques developed in service activities are in accordance with the Financial Accounting Standards for Micro, Small and Medium Entities (SAK EMKM) for Baim Cell MSMEs who are able to apply simple bookkeeping for their business and are able to make financial reports independently. The data collection method used is qualitative, namely by carrying out several stages, including surveys, interviews, observation and documentation. From the interviews conducted, it can be seen that various main problems faced by the owners of Baim Cell MSMEs are related to the limited knowledge they have in managing their business regarding the preparation of financial reports. This makes it difficult for productive businesses to develop properly due to the inability to prepare financial reports which are a requirement for obtaining loans from banks or financial institutions. Therefore, by providing assistance activities regarding the preparation of financial reports for MSMEs that we carry out, we can provide insight, knowledge, skills and convenience for business actors to understand the preparation of financial reports and can directly apply them to the preparation of their business financial reports. The results of this training show that it turns out that BAIM CELL with initial capital of Rp. 48,000,300 turns out the net profit in a year is Rp. 39,940,300,-

The reason why MSMEs do not develop easily is because the accounting records of these MSMEs are weak. One of the factors is that MSME owners do not think about financial management and recording issues. Registered Financial Management Institutions will be able to help manage finances well. Some MSMEs believe that without accounting, their business can run smoothly and make a profit. This makes finances unclear and there will be losses and makes it difficult for MSMEs to find out their business capital.

Abstract

Perkembangan UMKM di Indonesia semakin meningkat di setiap tahunnya, didorong juga dengan lingkungan eksternal yang fluktuatif sehingga UMKM terbukti menjadi jenis usaha yang menjanjikan dan sulit untuk dimatikan. Rehat & Singgah Coffee merupakan salah satu UMKM yang didirikan pada tahun 2020 dan bergerak di bidang food and beverages, yang berlokasi di kecamatan Cimanggis, Depok. Usaha ini terbilang sudah cukup lama berdiri namun masih belum memiliki pencatatan keuangan yang terstruktur dan dapat dikatakan memiliki manajemen keuangan yang kurang baik. Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan pendampingan terkait penerapan pencatatan keuangan sederhana yang baik agar usaha ini dapat terus bertahan dan berkembang. Dalam prosesnya tim kami yang terdiri dari empat orang menggunakan beberapa metode pendampingan yaitu metode ceramah, tanya jawab, dan simulasi. Pendampingan ini langsung dilakukan kepada pemilik usaha dan kami juga meminta pemilik usaha untuk melakukan simulasi langsung dalam mencatat keuangan sederhana. Hasilnya, kami berhasil melakukan penyampaian materi dalam metode ceramah, menjawab pertanyaan pemilik usaha dalam metode tanya jawab, dan melakukan simulasi oleh tim serta selanjutnya simulasi oleh pemilik usaha dalam metode simulasi. Pemilik usaha dapat dengan baik melakukan pencatatan keuangan sederhana yang selanjutnya kami rekomendasikan untuk menggunakannya dalam menjalankan usaha tersebut kedepannya.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the socialization process and practice of making simple financial reports for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Tidung Village, Seribu Islands. The method used is a case study with a qualitative approach. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with MSME owners and financial managers as well as direct observation of the practice of preparing financial reports. The research results show that intensive socialization and the practice of making simple financial reports provide significant benefits for MSMEs in improving their financial understanding and skills.
