Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the flow of information, financial flows, and product flows in the broiler chicken egg supply chain at CV Sadak in Sumbawa District. The location was selected purposively. Respondents were determined using a snowball sampling technique, involving the owner of CV Sadak as the primary informant, followed by input providers (dayold chicks, feed, medicines, and vitamins), middlemen, retailers, and end consumers. The research method used was descriptive, with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that the product flow begins with input providers (day-old chicks, feed, and medicines) and reaches farmers, who then distribute it to agents, retailers, and end consumers. Financial flows occur directly between farmers and input suppliers, while egg sales transactions are conducted in cash or on credit through agents and retailers. Meanwhile, the flow of information remains rudimentary and limited to direct communication between farmers, suppliers, and buyers. These findings indicate that although the supply chain is operational, strengthening information management and collaboration between stakeholders is still necessary to achieve efficiency and business sustainability.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the factors influencing consumer behavior in the use of Kredit Sahabat and to examine the impact of its utilization on community welfare. The research was conducted in May 2025 in Berare Village. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. A total of 30 respondents were selected using proportional sampling. Consumer behavior was analyzed using both qualitative and quantitative approaches. The qualitative analysis employed the Likert Summated Rating (LSR) scale to assess the influence of cultural, social, personal, and psychological factors on consumer behavior. Meanwhile, the quantitative analysis included the Normality Test, Correlation Test, Simultaneous Test (F-test), and Partial Test (t-test). The results revealed that among the four factors examined, only the psychological factor significantly influenced consumer behavior in using Kredit Sahabat, as indicated by a significance value of 0.003 (< 0.05) and a t-value of 3.271, which exceeded the t-table value of 2.042. Therefore, the null hypothesis (H?) was rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (H?) was accepted. Furthermore, the findings indicate that the use of Kredit Sahabat has a positive impact on improving community welfare.

The service process included product selection, weighing, payment, and packaging. Physical evidence consisted of a clean and well-organized store, supported by facilities such as weighing scales and air conditioning. Abstract

This study aims to: (1) analyze the marketing channels of hybrid maize in Jaya Makmur Village, Labangka District; and (2) analyze the farmer's share, marketing margin, and marketing efficiency of hybrid maize in Jaya Makmur Village, Labangka District. The research was conducted in April 2025. Respondents were selected using a purposive sampling technique. The study population consisted of 1,157 farmers from 28 farmer groups. Seven farmer groups were selected based on the criterion that they had the largest membership (more than 55 members). The sample size was determined using quota sampling by selecting five respondents from each farmer group, resulting in a total of 35 respondents. The data were analyzed using Farmer's Share, marketing margin, and marketing efficiency analyses. The results showed that there were two hybrid maize marketing channels in Jaya Makmur Village, Labangka District. The first marketing channel was: farmers ? district-level wholesaler (PT. Segar Agro Nusantara). The second marketing channel was: farmers ? village collector ? district-level wholesaler (PT. Segar Agro Nusantara). The Farmer's Share was 60% for the first marketing channel and 53% for the second marketing channel. The total marketing margin in the first marketing channel was IDR 0, while the marketing margin in the second marketing channel was IDR 400/kg. The marketing efficiency of the first marketing channel was 0.08 (8%), whereas that of the second marketing channel was 0.09 (9%). Therefore, the first marketing channel was more efficient than the second because longer marketing channels incur higher marketing costs, resulting in higher prices paid by consumers.

Abstract

The socio-economic characteristics of communities living near forests are variables that need to be taken into account when formulating forest management objectives. HKm Sabedo is one of nine HKms in Sumbawa that are managed using an agroforestry system. Research objectives: 1) to describe agroforestry practices in HKm Sabedo; 2) to identify the socio-economic characteristics of farmer managers; and 3) to estimate farmers' income equivalent to rice. The method used is a descriptive method. The social characteristics measured are: age, family members, education level, health level, and length of stay. Economic characteristics: land area owned, HKm cultivated land area, and farmers' income from HKm land. The results of the study indicate that the agroforestry pattern applied is a combination of MPTs, plantation crops, and seasonal crops. There are 22 types cultivated, and only 8 are traded. The average age of farmers is 34 years old, with an average of 2 dependents per household, and an educational background of junior high school to senior high school. Health status is classified as good, and 88.58% of farmers have been members of their community for over 31 years. The average land area under HKm is 1.3 hectares, and the average land ownership is over 0.5 hectares, placing them in the category of medium-sized farmers. The average income from HKm land is Rp. 15,643,974 per year, equivalent to 1,141 kg of rice (assuming an average rice price of Rp. 13,716). With an average of 2 family members, this rice-equivalent income falls within the non-poor criteria
