Abstract

Imam al-Qusyairiy who is known as one of the leading figures of Sufi scholars, is also a Muhaddits and Mufassir. Among his monumental works in the field of interpretation is Lathâif al-Isyârât's interpretation book. In this study the author will illustrate how the book is, in terms of content, purpose of writing and the method used in its interpretation. This type of research is library research focusing on Lathâif al-Isyârât's interpretation of the book, using content analysis methods. The results showed that Tafsir al-Qusyairiy or Lathâif al-Isyârât was a classical interpretation which became a reference for enthusiasts of Isyariy-style interpretation written by a tsiqah hadith scholar. The Isyariy interpretation style referred to is the interpretation style based on the signs contained in the al-Qur'an verse which can only be obtained by Ma’rifah experts. In writing his commentary, Imam Al-Qusyairiy uses the ijmâli method, without being elaborate, so that it does not bore the reader, by interpreting one verse in its isyariy style then includes an analysis of the meaning contained by the verse, both zahir and spiritual meaning.Imam al-Qusyairiy yang dikenal sebagai salah seorang sosok tokoh ulama sufi, ternyata juga seorang muhaddits dan mufassir. Di antara karya monumentalnya dalam bidang tafsir adalah kitab tafsir Lathâif al-Isyârât. Dalam penelitian ini penulis akan menggambarkan bagaimana kitab tersebut, baik dari segi gambaran isi, tujuan penulisan, dan metode yang dipakai dalam penafsirannya. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan (library research) dengan menfokuskan penelitian pada kitab tafsir Lathâif al-Isyârât, dengan menggunakan metode analisis isi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Tafsir al-Qusyairiy atau Lathâif al-Isyârât adalah tafsir klasik yang menjadi rujukan bagi peminat tafsir bercorak Isyariy yang ditulis oleh seorang ulama hadis yang tsiqah. Corak penafsiran Isyariy yang dimaksud yaitu yaitu corak penafsiran berdasarkan isyarat-isyarat yang terkandung dalam ayat al-Qur’an yang hanya dapat didapatkan oleh para Ahli Ma’rifah. Dalam penulisan tafsirnya Imam Al-Qusyairiy menggunakan metode ijmâli, tanpa berpanjang lebar, sehingga tidak membosankan pembacanya, dengan menafsirkan satu ayat dengan corak isyariy-nya kemudian menyantumkan analisis terhadap makna yang dikandung oleh ayat baik itu makna zhahir maupun makna bathin.

Abstract

This study aims to clarify and examine the pattern of the hadith narrations regarding marriage that are cited, authenticated, and validated in the legal reasoning of religious court judges' rulings. This study is a library study that takes the form of a written living hadith. By using the takhrij al-hadith approach, the hadith's veracity is confirmed, and its applicability is assessed using the perspectives and techniques of hadith experts. Inductive techniques are then used to process the outcomes. Two methods of citing hadith history were discovered via the research: using a template application and directly citing the hadith book. Only five of the 22 cases in the subfield of marriage, including marital dispensation, wali 'adhal, divorce, determining the parentage of the kid and determining the child's adoption, and Itsbat of marriage, include hadith citations. The five examples pertain to seven hadith histories that fit the criteria for Prophet Saw's hadiths. Four are fully cited with sanad and rawi, two are only stated with sanads that differ from rawi, and one is quoted without sanad and rawi (divorce case). Although it does not have legal implications that lead to the annulment of the judge's decision, the condition of the absence of quoting hadith as one of the legal considerations in copies of the decisions of cases shows the lack of authority of decisions that characterize Religious Courts.

Abstract

Two great Minangkabau scholars, namely Abdul Karim Amrullah (Hajj Rasul) and (Tuanku Sasak) Sheikh Muhammad Yunus who lived in the late 19th and early 20th centuries have succeeded in compiling hadith books that are used as guidelines by the community and students in madrasas. The two books compiled by Hajj Rasul are the Book of Ayqâz an-Niyâm Fima Ibtada'a min Amril Qiyâm and the book of Asy-Syir'ah, and One book of hadith was compiled by Tuanku Sasak, namely Himpoenan Hadith. These three hadith books are interesting to study because they are both written by minangkabau scholars, one of whom rejected the order and one became the teacher of the order.  The method used in this study is a comparative method, by comparing the work of the two scholars. From research, it was found that the background of writing the three hadith books is the same to answer the problems of the people who developed in the Minang realm. The methods used are both maudhui methods, but in his discussion Hajj Rasul strengthened his opinion with the Quran, Ijma, Qiyas and the opinions of friends, tabiin, ulama and fiqhiyyah methods as reinforcement of his arguments. To judge the sanad hadith, these two scholars in their books use the jarh wa Ta'dil method and to assess the quality of the hadith both scholars use the tarjih method.

Abstract

One of the separate studies in hadith scholarship is Imam Malik's narration model using sighat tahammul which is different from other scholars. That is with the hadiths balâghât (hadiths beginning with "بلغني" or "أنه بلغه" In the study of sanad in general, the hadith belongs to the category of munqathi' (sanad interrupted. This study focuses on the hadiths of Balaghât Muwattha' which are categorized as mu'allaq (dependent), by using the method of takhrîj hadith with the approach of I'tibâr, which examines the existence of other hadiths al-kutub at-tis'ah that support the narration of Imam Malik. From research it can be concluded, that the hadith balâghât mu'allaq in Kitab al-Muwaththa' has a muttashil supporting history from other hadith books, especially al-kutub at-tis'ah, so that with the existence of other muttashil narrations, making the hadith balâghât mu'allaq Malik can be used as a hujjah.

Abstract

Sunan Abi Daud is one of the books of hadith mu'tabarah which is the main foundation for Muslims in referring to the traditions of the Prophet. But this book, like the other hadith books, requires an explanation so that the meaning and the law can be understood well. Many scholars have tried to deliberate and explain the laws of their traditions, starting from classical times to modern times, among them is the book of shari'a known as nama AUN AL MA'BÛD ‘ALA SYARH SUNAN ABI DAUD. In this study, the author applies the reseach library method by making the book ‘AUN AL MA'BÛD‘ ALA SYARH SUNAN ABI DAUD as the main book of research objects and supported by various other sources. The problem in this study is to reveal the identity of the author of this book, the background of the writing of this book, and the method used by the author in directing this book. From the research, it was found that the identity of the author of this book was two religious scholars from India who were motivated by Syams al-Haq's desire for his brother Syarf al-Haq to write a simple book of the Sunan Abi Daud which had no length. And the method used by Syarf al-Haq in counseling this book is the simple and simple method of shar tahlli

Abstract

Departing from a custom that exists in the community of Bukit Putus in Linggo Sari Baganti Subdistrict, Pesisir Selatan District, namely the implementation of Lailatul Qadr circumcision prayer on every twenty-seventh night of the month of Ramadan. This research is called the Living Qur'an Study which is a qualitative field research, using descriptive analysis methods, with data collection techniques through interviews and documentation. The results of the study are the first, the public understands the Laylat al-Qadr prayer as circumcision prayer which is performed to welcome and respect the Laylat al-Qadr. Secondly, the public praying at the end of the twenty-seventh night after completing the evening prayer in congregation. Third, the implementation of the Prayers of Laylat al-Qadr by the community aims to get merit and forgiveness from God. Then the benefits felt by the community after performing lailatul qadr prayers include peace and tranquility of the heart.

Abstract

أن الله تعالى قد أمرنا بتدبر كتابه الكريم، فما زالت عامة المسلمين لم يدبروها ولو قرؤوه كل يوم حتى يكون القرآن زينة لهم في خزائنهم لم يلمسوه ولو مرة. ورجاء من استفادة هذه الكتابة ما يحض المسلمين على تدبر كتابه الكريم فضلا عما يتعلق بالقصة لما فيها إشارة إلى معجزة القرآن الكريم. ومن خلال هذه الكتابة، بحثت عن إعجاز القرآن اللغوي في قصة موسى عليه السلام، وأذكر فيها الآيات اللاتي تشابهت بعضها ببعض وتكررت فيها وألفاظها متفقة، ولكن قد وقع في بعضها زيادة أو نقصان أو تقديم أو تأخير أو إبدال حرف مكان حرف أو غير ذلك مما ينتج الاختلاف بين الآيتين أو الآيات بين السورتي البقرة والأعراف. وفي البحث عنها، سلكت مسلك البحث المكتبي، بمنهاج المقارن الذي يصف ما يتعلق بالموضوع على ما كان عليه من ناحية الإعجاز اللغوي، والفائدة في إعادتها، وما الموجب للزيادة والنقصان والتقديم والتأخير والإبدال، وما الحكمة في تخصيص الآية بذلك دون الآية الأخرى، وهل كان يصلح ما في هذه السورة مكان ما في السورة التي تشاكلها أم لا، ليجري ذلك مجرى علامات تزيل إشكالها وتمتاز بها عن أشكالها من غير أن أشتغل بتفسيرها وتأويلها. وفي اختتام بحث هذه الكتابة، أفصح الأمر حيث أن الآيات المتشابهات في القصة تتجه على مواجهة خاصة ويتضمن على مضمون لا يتضمنه غيره. والتكرار فيها يظهر لنا وجه الإعجاز القرآني اللغوية من عدة أوجه مختلفة.

Abstract

This study aims to explain how the history of reading verses of the Koran at the stages of building a house, the time of reading verses of the Koran, the verses of the Koran that are read, as well as the values contained in reading the verses of the Koran Qur'an at the time of construction of the house. This type of research is field research or (field research) using a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques in this study were obtained from interviews, observation and documentation. Based on research that has been conducted in Nagari Batu Basa on the tradition of reciting verses of the Koran in building houses, it is known that this tradition has been carried out from generation to generation which is still carried out by the people of Nagari Batu Basa. In this tradition, the verses of the Qur'an that are read are al-Fatihah, verses of chairs (Q. S. al-Baqarah verse 255), letters of al-Ikhlas, letters of al-Falaq, and finally, letters of an-Naas. This verse of the Qur'an is recited during the manduaso, Naik Kudo-kudo and manaiki rumah events. With the recitation of verses of the Qur'an, people believe they will get peace, tranquility and protection from Allah SWT from disturbances by supernatural beings. This tradition also shows community togetherness so that Islamic ukhuwah can be established between people.

Abstract

The  life  of  Prophet  Muhammad  is  a  great  example  of  Muslims,  especially  his  actions. Yet, many Muslims do not fully comprehend the deeds of the Prophet Muhammad. They assume that every Prophet’s actions are an obligation or an option to follow. Though the careful studies on the  issue  have  elaborated  and  come  to  the  conclusion  that  not  every  that  Prophet  Muhammad’s action  have  to  follow.  The  Islamic  scholars  have  distributed  the  diversity  of  prophet  actions  and explained  the  content  of  the  law,  with  the  level  of  obligaion,  ibahah  (permition)  or  or  a  good example to follow from the actions of the Prophet Muhammad.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the construction of religious institutions in West Sumatra, especially Muhammadiyah and the Indonesian Islamic Da'wah Council (LDII) West Sumatra regarding the meaning of jihad, as well as to explain the attitude of these religious institutions towards acts of terror in the name of jihad. Qualitative methods were used in this study with data obtained through interviews, documentation, and literature studies, both from books, scientific articles, books, and news. Social construction theory of Peter L Berger to explain the construction of Muhammadiyah and LDII West Sumatra religious institutions about the meaning of jihad. The results showed that Muhammadiyah West Sumatra interpreted jihad in the form of Jihad Amaliyah. The concept of jihad was revealed in various forms of movement, namely Muhammadiyah as an Islamic Movement, Muhammadiyah as the Amar Ma'ruf Nahi Munkar Islamic Da'wah Movement, Muhammadiyah as the Tajdid Movement. The understanding of jihad is then internalized into various forms of programs ranging from da'wah, education, health, social services and humanity. The LDII defines jihad in the sense of struggle. This understanding of jihad can be seen in the internalization of the five West Sumatra LDII cluster programs. Both institutions both reject the meaning of jihad in the sense of war in the Indonesian context. The jihad that is carried out is moderate.
