Abstract

We report how the prepare red amaranth extract. In this study, red amaranth extract was made using the maceration method. Energy is one of the basic needs for human life. One alternative to overcome the electricity crisis is the use of solar energy. Development of solar cells continues, until now many researchers are modifying basic materials using dyes commonly called Dye Sensitized Solar Cells (DSSC). This DSSC has great potential to be developed. Dyes commonly used as doping are synthetic and natural dyes. In this study using red spinach or red amaranth because red spinach has a pigment that can be used to substitute for synthetic colors. So far there has been no in-depth study examining the optical properties of the dye red amaranth extract material. Therefore, this research has carried out a study of the fundamental optical properties of the dye red amaranth extract material. Red amaranth extract caracterized by UV Vis and FTIR spectroscopy. Red amaranth absorbance occurs at wavelength of 432 nm and 663 nm.

Abstract

ABSTRAKDesa Karangsinom yang berada di Kecamatan Tirtamulya, Kabupaten Karawang merupakan lokasi yang menjadi tujuan kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat. Desa tersebut memiliki beberapa permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan potensial sumber daya alam yang tersedia yaitu, kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat dan sumber daya manusia yang belum optimal dalam pemanfaatannya. Sehingga kreativitas masih minim untuk mengembangkan potensi-potensi sumber daya alam khususnya pada pemberdayaan ternak ikan. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, tentunya diperlukan upaya untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan melalui program solutif yang telah dilakukan pada kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Kegiatan yang berjudul “Implementasi Alat Tenaga Surya pada Microbubble Generator untuk Aerasi Kolam Ikan” merupakan program yang disusun secara bertahap dalam pemberdayaan peternak ikan di Desa Karangsinom. Hasil dalam kegiatan ini dapat mengembangkan usahanya baik secara kuantitas maupun kualitasnya. Melalui serangkaian program kerja dan berbagai kegiatan yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat, diharapkan dapat membantu dan memberdayakan peternak ikan di Desa Karangsinom dalam mengembangkan potensi dan meningkatkan kulitas serta kuantitas hasil produksinya. Kata kunci: alat tenaga surya; microbubble generator; perancangan alat. ABSTRACTKarangsinom Village located in Tirtamulya Subdistrict, Karawang Regency is a location that is the purpose of Community Service Activities. The village has several problems related to the potential of available natural resources, namely, the lack of public awareness and human resources that have not been optimal in their utilization. So that creativity is still minimal to develop the potential of natural resources, especially in the empowerment of fish cattle. Based on these problems, of course, efforts are needed to solve the problem through solutive programs that have been carried out in Community Service Activities. The method used in this activity is a case study with a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interview and documentation. The activity entitled "Implementation of Solar Power Tools on Microbubble Generators for Fish Pond Aeration" is a program that is gradually structured in the empowerment of fish farmers in Karangsinom Village. Result from this activity of being able to develop his business both in quantity and quality. Through a series of work programs and various activities carried out in Community Service Activities, it is expected to help and empower fish farmers in Karangsinom Village in developing potential and increasing the skin and quantity of its production. Keywords: solar power tools; microbubble generator; tool design.
