Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendapatkan kultivar bawang merah lokal yang cocok ditanam diKersana Brebes. Jumlah kultivar yang diuji sebanyak 10 buah ditambah 2 kultivar pembanding yaitutanduyung dan ilokos. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok denganpopulasi tanaman per plot sebanyak 500 tanaman. Penelitian diulang sebanyak 3 kali. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan bahwa tidak ada kultivar lokal yang menampilkan hasil yang lebih baik dari varietas impor,kultivar lokal yang menampilkan daya hasil tinggi di Kersana Brebes adalah kultivar Kuning Tablet dan kultivarBima Curut memiliki persentase ukuran umbi besar yang cukup tinggi.Kata kunci: Allium ascalonicum L, kultivar lokal, hasil  ABSTRACTEvaluation of 10 local cultivars of shallot (Allium ascalonicum L.) in Kersana Brebes. The objective ofthe research was selected shallot cultivar with high yielding in Kersana Brebes. Number of' cultivars planted were10 included 2 of import popular varieties checks namely tanduyung and ilokos. Experimental designused was Randomized Complete Block Design, an experiment unit consisted of 500 hills. Number ofreplication was 3 times. The result finding that there is no any local cultivars showed better than import varieties.The highest yielding local cultivars were obtained from cultivar Kuning Tablet, whereas the highest percentagetuber size was cultivar Bima Curut.Key words: Allium ascalonicum L., local cultivar, yield

Abstract

The Forum Komunikasi Pengembangan Makla (FKPM) is a cemetery management body that faces challenges in managing data from the Serikat Tolong Menolong (STM) and cemetery information services. The main problem lies in the limitations in delivering information and the slow adoption of information technology in the administration system. To overcome this, the Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat Team (PKM) of the Potensi Utama University implemented the Pemberdayaan Berbasis Masyarakat (PBM) program through a participatory approach in three stages: socialization, training (workshops), and structured mentoring. All of these stages support the implementation of cloud-based digital information technology to improve service quality and data management efficiently. The implementation method includes needs analysis through site visits and interviews, design and development of web-based applications, system usage training, application trials, and periodic monitoring and evaluation. This activity also involves students in the Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) scheme through internship programs relevant to information technology courses. The results of the program showed an increase in the knowledge of FKPM administrators by 96.17% and an increase in digital data management skills of up to 92.86%. The implementation of the cloud system accelerates the previously manual administrative process to be faster, more accurate, and more efficient, as well as increasing the openness of information to the public. This program has been published through accredited national journals and electronic media, and is expected to be a pilot model for the application of digital technology in similar public services in other regions.

Abstract

Many studies related to chili varieties and productivity have been conducted. However, studies on the potential of seed production based on seed rendements to fulfil the need for chilli seeds are still limited. The study aimed to present rendement results, yield, and quality of the nine open-pollinated chilli seed varieties owned by the Indonesian Vegetable Research Institute (IVegRI), i.e. were Tanjung-2, Lembang 1, Ciko, Lingga, Kencana, Prima Agrihorti, Rabani Agrihorti, Carvi Agrihorti, and Branang, planted in a screen house. This study was conducted from January to December 2019. Cultivation techniques and seed certification followed the applicable Procedures. Data were analysed using descriptive methods. Observations were made on harvested fruits for yield and quality of seeds produced. The study revealed that Branang had the highest chili productivity (34.15 gm-2). Meanwhile, the highest seed rendement was Lembang 1 (5.48%). All varieties had good germination, namely above 75%. Based on the results, the breeders are expected to obtain information related to seed productivity from chili varieties owned by the Indonesian Vegetable Crops Research Institute (IVegRI). Penelitian terkait varietas dan produktivitas cabai telah banyak dilakukan. Akan tetapi, penelitian tentang potensi produksi benih berdasarkan rendemen benih untuk memenuhi kebutuhan benih cabai masih terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyajikan hasil rendemen, daya hasil, dan mutu sembilan varietas benih cabai menyerbuk terbuka milik Balai Penelitian Tanaman Sayuran (Balitsa) yaitu Tanjung-2, Lembang 1, Ciko, Lingga, Kencana, Prima Agrihorti, Rabani Agrihorti, Carvi Agrihorti, dan Branang yang ditanam di rumah kaca. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari sampai dengan Desember 2019. Teknik budidaya dan sertifikasi benih mengikuti Prosedur yang berlaku. Data dianalisis dengan metode deskriptif. Pengamatan dilakukan terhadap buah yang dipanen untuk mengetahui daya hasil dan mutu benih yang dihasilkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Branang memiliki produktivitas cabai tertinggi (34,15 gm-2). Sementara itu, rendemen benih tertinggi adalah Lembang 1 (5,48%). Semua varietas memiliki daya berkecambah yang baik, yaitu di atas 75%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini diharapkan para pemulia tanaman dapat memperoleh informasi terkait produktivitas benih dari varietas cabai yang dimiliki Balai Penelitian Tanaman Sayuran (Balitsa).

Abstract

The final semester examination is one of the essential instruments in measuring students’ competency achievement in schools. However, conventional exam implementation often faces challenges such as high operational costs, time-consuming correction processes, and the potential for cheating due to identical questions among students. This study aims to design and develop an Android-based examination application by implementing the Couple Linear Congruential Generator (CLCG) method as a question randomization mechanism. CLCG was chosen because it can generate random numbers with a more uniform distribution and longer period compared to the conventional Linear Congruential Generator (LCG), ensuring that each student receives a different set of questions while maintaining the same level of difficulty. The research was conducted at SMK Harapan Mekar 1 Medan using a prototype-based system development approach. The results show that the developed Android-based exam application runs effectively, successfully randomizes questions using the CLCG method, and facilitates teachers in managing the question bank and accelerating the grading process. Therefore, the application of the CLCG method in an Android-based digital exam system proves to improve efficiency, objectivity, and security in the implementation of final semester examinations in schools.
