Abstract

Given the swift currents of globalization and making it easier for foreign cultures to enter and influence the younger generation in Indonesia, especially children. In addition, teaching materials are also needed whose approach is in accordance with the times. Therefore, the researchers developed an elementary school teaching material that was in accordance with the independent era of learning society 5.0 based on local wisdom. The general objective of this research is to produce a product in the form of teaching materials for writing children's stories in the independent era of learning society 5.0 based on local wisdom. The specific objectives of this research are (1) to produce learning materials for writing children's stories in the independent era of learning society 5.0 based on local wisdom, and (2) describing the feasibility of teaching materials to write children's stories in the independent era of learning society 5.0 based on local wisdom that has been developed.The research model used is the Borg and Gall research model. The research model used by Borg and Gall is the Research and Development (R & D) approach. The results obtained from the validation carried out by content (material) experts, namely 87% with the validity level being quite valid with small revisions, and validation by learning media experts, namely 85% with the validity level being quite valid and requiring minor revisions. The results of the development of teaching materials for writing children's stories in the independent era of learning society 5.0 based on local wisdom for elementary school students, especially grades IV until VI in Malang is at 83%, which means that the teaching materials for writing children's stories are suitable for use.

Abstract

The use of the ECOLA method in this study was to detect the effectiveness of critical reading skills in PBSI 2019A IKIP Budi Utomo Malang students. This type of research is PTK research with the Kemmis and Mc models. Taggart. This study used PBSI class 2019A student subjects as many as 30 students. Data collection techniques using qualitative and quantitative techniques. Qualitative data were obtained by conducting interviews and observations, while for quantitative data obtained from student pretests which were then calculated using the average formula. From the results obtained after implementing the Ecola method in learning critical reading it is very effective. Improvements can be seen from the ongoing learning process and also the results of the reading skill itself. Students also enjoy and are more active in participating in class learning, as well as the material provided by lecturers, students can understand it well. The results of improving critical reading skills using the ECOLA method can be seen from the significant increase in student scores. The average pre-test score was 76.5 for the first cycle, which was 78.6, and for the second cycle, it was 80.2. In addition, the number of students who achieved success indicators in the pre-action was 10 students, at the end of the first cycle there were 19 students, and at the end of the second cycle there were 27 students out of 30 students.

Abstract

Education is an aspect of life that is closely related to human life, and education is one of the pillars that plays an important role in creating quality people. This study is based on a lack of student understanding of the use of interesting media in the learning process. The purpose of this study is to develop and test the feasibility and effectiveness of a 'flashcard-based blended learning' media. The type of research is research and development using the ADDIE model. Research methods are analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The subjects were 30 PGSD fifth semester students. Observations, tests, interviews, questionnaires, and documents are used to collect records. Data analysis techniques using product data analysis, initial data analysis, hypothesis testing, and n-gain testing. The results showed that the media "Flashcard based on blended learning" was very feasible to use with an average percentage of material expert judgment of 86.63% and 90.21% of media experts. he average score on the test went up by 72%, which is evidence that the test was measuring something important. The N-Gain calculation shows that the data is likely to be significant, which means that the average score between the pretest and posttest was different significantly. Research shows that flashcard-based learning media is a good way to learn at Khairun University. However, more research is needed to make sure the media is developed specifically for students there and that it is used in the best way possible.
