Abstract

This research backgrounded by the existence of a new policy on the implementation of the Independent Curriculum, namely the change from lesson plans to teaching modules. This study aims to develop a teaching module Bahasa Indonesia at phase B that is feasible and efective at SD Negeri 1 Purwainangun. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D). This research development stage refers to the Borg and Gall development model which has been grouped into three groups, namely preliminary studies, development, and testing and dissemination. The limited test subjects were two expert validators. The main test subjects were teachers and 20 grade IV students at SD Negeri 1 Purwawinangun, Kuningan, West Java. The data collection instrument used interview guidelines, product assessment questionnaires validators of material experts and media experts, as well as teacher response questionnaires. The data analysis technique of the validator's assessment results in the limited test uses Aiken's V statistics. The data analysis technique of the product effectiveness of the main test results uses student test results to determine the suitability of the product with the goal. To test the effectiveness using a paired sample test T-test. The results of the research on the limited test are that the teaching module Bahasa Indonesia at phase B according to the expert validator is feasible to use, as evidenced by the average Aiken's V score for the teaching module product which was 0.889 in the very high category. The effectiveness test of the teaching module products showed that the teaching module Bahasa Indonesia at phase B was able to improve the quality of learning in the classroom and improve student learning outcomes, as evidenced by the tcount value of 6.788 greater than the ttable value of 2.093. This shows that the product of the developed teaching module Bahasa Indonesia at Phase B can be said to be very feasible and effective to use.

Abstract

Guru profesional secara berkesinambungan, “dimaksudkan untuk merangsang, memelihara, dan meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam memecahkan masalah-masalah pendidikan dan pembelajaran yang berdampak pada peningkatan mutu.  Meski demikian pada kompetensi profesional, banyak guru yang dianggap masih gagap dalam menguasai materi ajar secara luas dan mendalam sehingga gagal menyajikan kegiatan pembelajaran yang bermakna dan bermanfaat bagi siswa.  Berdasarkan hasil wawancara diketahui bahwa guru masih kesulitan dalam penguasaan kompetensi profesional kaitannya dengan kemampuan untuk mengembangkan materi pembelajaran secara kreatif guna menyampaikan pemahaman yang komprehensif kepada siswa serta keterampilan dalam menggunakan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) yang sesuai dengan kurikulum merdeka. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah 1) Memberikan pengetahuan pada guru mengenai kompetensi profesional yang sesuai dengan kurikulum merdeka, 2) Memberikan pelatihan kompetensi profesional yang sesuai dengan kurikulum merdeka. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian ini adalah menggunakan metode service learning sebagai salah satu pendekatan dalam pengajaran yang menggabungkan tujuan akademik dalam upaya menumbuhkan kesadaran dalam memecahkan persoalan secara langsung. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah 1) terbentuknya pengetahuan dan informasi baru bagi guru profesional yang selaras dengan kurikulum merdeka; 2) terciptanya suatu pola peningkatan kualitas pendidikan melalui Penguasaan Kompetensi Profesional Guru Sekolah Dasar selaras dengan kurikulum merdeka. Selain itu berdasarkan g-form yang diterima diketahui bahwa 81 % untuk melakukan pengembangan penguasaan kompetensi profesional selaras kurikulum merdeka.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas tes diagnostik four-tier dalam mengidentifikasi miskonsepsi siswa pada berbagai materi pelajaran. Miskonsepsi yang tidak terdeteksi dengan baik dapat menghambat pemahaman siswa dan menurunkan kualitas pembelajaran. Tes diagnostik four-tier menawarkan pendekatan berjenjang yang lebih mendalam, mencakup pilihan jawaban, keyakinan siswa terhadap jawaban, alasan di balik jawaban, serta keyakinan siswa terhadap alasan tersebut. Melalui studi literatur, penelitian ini menganalisis berbagai hasil penelitian terdahulu yang menunjukkan bahwa tes diagnostik four-tier lebih akurat dibandingkan tes dua atau tiga tingkat, karena mampu mengidentifikasi kesalahan konseptual siswa dengan lebih terperinci. Beberapa penyebab miskonsepsi yang terungkap antara lain metode pengajaran yang kurang interaktif, keterbatasan waktu belajar di kelas, dan keterbatasan akses pada sumber belajar yang valid. Dengan memanfaatkan tes diagnostik four-tier, pendidik dapat merancang intervensi yang lebih efektif, seperti program remedial atau pendekatan pengajaran alternatif yang sesuai. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konseptual siswa dan mendukung pencapaian hasil belajar yang lebih baik.

Abstract

This research is motivated by problems by learning mathematics in the second grade students of SD Negeri 1 winduhaji, in which learning outcomes is still low. The purpose of this research was to find out the differences and improvements in student learning outcomes between classes using the problem-based learning model and conventional methods (lectures). The method used in this research was a quantitative research method with a quasi-experimental research type and the from of quasi-experimental design used was non-equivalent control group design. The instrument in this study was using multiple choice tests and limited descriptions. For subjects of this research were all of the second grade students of SD Negeri 1 Winduhaji, where class A as the control class and class B as the exsperimental class. It can be concluded that there are differences and improvements between classes using the problem-based learning model and conventional methods (lectures) on student learning outcomes, but not significant in the mathematics subject matter of standard length units in class II of SD Negeri 1 Winduhaji. The class received treatment using the problem based learning model was class II B.  Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Mathematics, Problem Based Learning

Abstract

Science process skills reflect the learning abilities and character that students must develop within themselves to prepare themselves to face a dynamic society. However, in reality, the average science process skills for elementary schools are still low and the first step before practicing and teaching science process skills in schools, teachers must know and understand the profile of students' science process skills. On the other hand, it is not yet known to what extent the science process skills of elementary school students in implementing the independent curriculum. This study aims to determine the science process skills for elementary school students in implementing the independent curriculum. This study was conducted using a case study, a qualitative research approach. The sample in this study was 12 schools spread across Kuningan Regency. The time used to carry out this study from November 2023 – January 2024. Data collection used in this study includes various methods, including observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study are: 1) Each subject in the independent curriculum can facilitate the development of observation skills, 2) In the independent curriculum, grouping skills are improved according to the characteristics needed in each subject, 3) Science process skills, especially the ability to measure, develop optimally in mathematics and science subjects, although other subjects still provide room to hone measuring skills.

Abstract

Government certainty related to curriculum development from KTSP to Curriculum 2013 raises a new challenge for teachers. Implementation Curriculum 2013 in elementary schools still faced significant problems where based on the focus group discussion results with elementary schoolteachers in the Kuningan area of West Java, it was known that teachers still had difficulty implementing thematic-integrative with connecting the material with other material. Purpose of this study is 1) describes the problems faced by elementary school teachers for the standard of graduate competence in the implementation of the Curriculum 2013 in elementary schools, 2) describes the factors that cause problems standard of graduate competence in the implementation of Curriculum 2013in elementary schools. The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. The research design used descriptive steps of a case study. Theresearch subjects were teachers and students in elementary school at SDN 1 Manis Lor, Jalaksana District, SDN 1 Purwawinangun, Kuningan District and SDN Dukuhdalem, Japara District, Kuningan Regency. Data collection techniques are used using observation, interviews and documentation studies. Data analysis used refers to the analysis of qualitative research data.

Abstract

Kenaikan pangkat guru merupakan hasil dari kinerja dan profesionalisme yang guru tunjukkan selama mereka melaksanakan kewajiban sebagai pendidik. Salah satu kegiatan yang ada dalam pengembangan keprofesian berkelanjutan adalah publikasi ilmiah. Meski demikian berdasarkan kegiatan observasi dan wawancara dengan guru yang ada di sekolah dasar didapati temuan yang menyatakan bahwa meskipun guru menyadari kalau untuk meningkatkan jabatan fungsional atau pangkat membutuhkan kemampuan menulis karya tulis ilmiah namun mereka masih cenderung kesulitan dalam menulis karya tulis ilmiah. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pemahaman terhadap guru pentingnya karya tulis ilmiah untuk kenaikan pangkat serta memberikan pengetahuan pada guru mengenai proses kenaikan pangkat melalui administrasi karya tulis ilmiah. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah guru memahami bahwa karya tulis ilmiah merupakan salah satu syarat dalam peningkatan pangkat bagi guru. Sehingga peningkatan kemampuan menulis karya tulis ilmiah dapat ditingkatkan. Berdasarkan g-form yang telah dilakukan diketahui bahwa penguasaan materi kenaikan pangkat dan pemahaman dalam tata cara penulisan karya tulis ilmiah sudah mencapai 100 %. Sedangkan pada kemampuan dalam penyusunan karya tulis ilmiah yang sesuai dengan judul yang telah dikembangkan saaat acara masih 80 % dan kemajuan untuk mengembangkan karya tulis ilmiah baru selain judul yang telah ditulis adalah 70%.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe prototype curriculum is a curriculum that encourages learning according to students' abilities, provides space for character development and basic competencies. Teacher readiness has an important role in ensuring the implementation of the prototype curriculum. The purpose of this study was to determine the readiness of elementary school teachers to implement the prototype curriculum in Kuningan District. This research is included in the type of survey research with a quantitative descriptive approach. Techniques used to collect the data in this study were questionnaires and interviews. Data analysis techniques for the data obtained from the questionnaire will be processing carried out in the following stages 1) editing, 2) scoring, 3) tabulation. The results showed in general percentage of readiness of elementary school teachers to implement the prototype curriculum in Kuningan District is 73.60%. That’s means overall percentage of readiness of elementary school teachers to implement the prototype curriculum in Kuningan District are in a good category. For each dimension obtained the percentage results on the emotive-attitudinal dimension for elementary school teachers specifically teaching grade I in Kuningan district is 95.20%, the percentage on the cognitive-readiness dimension is 71.29%, and the percentage on the behavioral readiness dimension is 78,56 %.Keywords: readiness; teacher; curriculum prototype

Abstract

Quality education is a right for every citizen. One of the efforts made by the government to improve the quality of education is through curriculum development. The Merdeka Curriculum is the latest curriculum implemented in Indonesia. Based on interviews with the Principal of SD Negeri Maleber, it was found that most teachers have already received socialization regarding the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. Teachers have also started to learn independently about the process of its implementation. However, teachers are still experiencing difficulties in implementing the IPAS (Integrated Science) subject content as stipulated in the Merdeka Curriculum. This condition certainly needs to be addressed in order to improve teacher professionalism.Based on the problems faced by teachers at SD Negeri Maleber, teachers need knowledge and improved skills in implementing IPAS subject content as stipulated in the Merdeka Curriculum. This forms the basis for conducting the "Training on Implementing IPAS Subject Content According to the Merdeka Curriculum at SD Negeri Maleber."The objectives of this service are:To provide teachers with knowledge about the IPAS subject content in the Merdeka Curriculum.To provide skills training for teachers on how to implement the IPAS subject content in the Merdeka Curriculum.
