Abstract

Demands for family needs are increasing along with the changing times and science. Thus, Family Welfare Program or Program Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK) is nationally aimed to empower families to improve prosperity towards faith and devotion to God; virtuous morality; health; prosperity; independence; gender equality, justice; legal and environmental awareness. This paper aims to provide a descriptive picture to PKK Deliksari management about the level of implementation of the members of each workgroup program (I, II, III, IV); give a picture to PKK management about which workgroup is responded mostly by members; provide an overview of the skills education that is most interesting in Deliksari community, so it can be followed up through village entrepreneurship training; provide an overview of facilities needed to motivate the community to increase efforts. The research was conducted in Deliksari. The total respondents are 58 people determined by purposive sampling. The data collection tool is questions with multiple answers corroborated by in-depth interviews with management, some members, and field observations. The study found that the achievement of program implementation percentage included the average achievement of workgroup I in the high category; the average achievement of workgroup II in the medium category; the average achievement of workgroup III in the medium category, the average achievement of workgroup IV in the medium category; the average achievement of workgroup I to IV in the medium category; and the highest percentage, that is, from residents choosing “baking cookies” skill (63.79%), sewing skills (13.79%) and planting fruit around the houses (22.41%).

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: menemukan model penguatan sikap tindak wirausaha melalui pemberdayaan Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT). Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kabupaten Semarang, Propinsi Jawa Tengah. Pengambilan sample dilakukan secara purposif sampling, dengan pertimbangan sekelompok subyek yang memiliki karakteristik: sebagai anggota KWT kategori proaktif, reaktif dan nonaktif; memiliki status sosial ekonomi rendah, berdomisili di Kabupaten Semarang. Jumlah sample 198 orang. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan (Action Research), yang diharapkan menghasilkan model dan modul pemberdayaan KWT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) tingkat pengetahuan siswa paska pendidikan pada kategori baik; (2) terbukti ada peningkatan pengetahuan siswa paska pendidikan. Berdasarkan temuan hasil penelitian, beberapa saran yang dapat disampaikan khususnya untuk dinas terkait di Kabupaten Semarang, yakni: Bagi Dinas Pertanian: akan lebih tepat memasukan program kewirausahaan; pengolahan pangan hasil pertanian (lokal). ke dalam program kerja rutin KWT. STRENGTHENING STUDENTS ENTREPRENEURSHIP THROUH EDUCATION OF PROCESSING TECHNOLOGY OF FARMINGAbstractThis research was aimed at investigating model of strengthening student entrepreneurship through Female Farmer Group (FFG). This research was conducted in Kabupaten Semarang, the Province of Jawa Tengah. The 198 people was the sample and was selected purposively from the population. Subject was selected based on some criteria: pro-active, reactive, and non-active member of FFG; low economics condition, and Kabupaten Semarang inhibitants. This action research was expected to produce model and module for FFG empowerment. The results of research: (1) student knowledge was good; (2) student achievement was improved. This research recommendation is for the county office of farming, that it is better to provide entrepreneurship program for FFG empowerment.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan mendeskripsikan: tingkat pemahaman tentang makna keluarga sejahtera dan tentang industri kreatif pangan di kalangan keluarga miskin (gakin); faktor determinan terhadap terbentuknya keluarga sejahtera yang berbasis pada usaha industri kreatif pangan; mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis kebutuhan gakin. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif yang digunakan sebagai dasar analisis penelitian pengembangan (research and development). Data-data yang diperlukan untuk mencapai tujuan penelitian diperoleh melalui kegiatan-kegiatan FGD. Lokasi penelitian ialah dua desa kategori termiskin di kabupaten Wonosobo. Subjek penelitian ialah gakin yang berjumlah 61 keluarga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, bahwa, tingkat pemahaman gakin terhadap makna keluarga sejahtera dan terhadap makna industri kreatif pangan keduanya bernilai cukup; Determinan utama yang membentuk keluarga sejahtera ialah motiv beribadah, sementara determinan utama yang membentuk usaha memenuhi kebutuhan hidup melalui industri kreatif pangan ialah, diperolehnya pelatihan-pelatihan untuk mengolah pangan. Hasil analisis terhadap faktor-faktor pembentuk keluarga sejahtera dan usaha guna memperoleh penghasilan yang dilakukan melalui industri kreatif pangan ialah: faktor pendidikan dan kesejahteraan keluarga; hubungan inter dan antarkeluarga; peran orang tua dalam mendidik anak; pengaturan ekonomi keluarga; keamanan lahir batin dan perencanaan hidup sehat; pengembangan industri kreatif pangan.Kata kunci: pendidikan, kesejahteraan keluarga; industri kreatif pangan; keluarga miskin DETERMINANT FACTORS FOR ESTABLISHING PROSPEROUS FAMILY FOR RURAL POOR  IN WONOSOBO REGENCY BASED ON CREATIVE FOOD INDUSTRYAbstractThis study aim to describetheng level of understanding of the definition of both prosperous family and food creative industry among poor family, to find out the determinant factors for the establishing prosperous family based on creative food industry, and to identifyand analyse the needs of the poor family. This study adopted a descriptiv approach as the basis for the analysis in the research and development. The data were collected through FGD activities. The research sites were the two poorest villages in Wonosoboregency. The subjects consisted of 61 poor families.The results of the study show that the level of understanding of the definition of both prosperous family and food creative industry is categorized as fair. Additionally, the main determinant factor for establishing prosperous family is religious motives and the main determinant factor for establishing business activities to support livelihood needs through food creative industry is by joining trainings on food processing.Also, the vital components for establishing prosperous family and to establish business activities to earn income through food creative industry include:education, family welfare; intra and interfamily relationship; the role of parents for the children's education; family economy management; physical and spiritual security, healthy life planning; and development of food creative industry.Keywords: education; family welfare; food creative industry; poor family
