Abstract

Aluminium banyak digunakan sebagai bahan pembuat komponen mesin seperti piston, engine block, gear dan komponen lainnya karena sifat kekerasan dan keuletannya. Permasalahan yang sering timbul pada kekerasan permukaan adalah pengaruh dari gaya luar berupa benturan yang menyebabkan terjadinya deformasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media pendingin terhadap tingkat kekerasan aluminium 6061 dengan proses pack carburizing. Bahan eksperimen pada penelitian ini menggunakan serbuk arang berukuran 80 mesh, yang dipanaskan menggunakan tungku furnace hingga 530°C dengan waktu penahanan 180 menit. Kemudian dilakukan tiga variasi quenching dengan air sumur, oli SAE 40 dan udara. Pengujian aluminium 6061 dilakukan sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan carburizing. Pengujian yang dilakukan yaitu pengujian kekerasan mikro Vickers, struktur mikro dan ketebalan pada lapisan karbon. Hasil penelitian menunjukan nilai kekerasan aluminium 6061 tanpa perlakuan sebesar 60,37 kg/mm2. Pasca perlakuan carburizing didapatkan nilai kekerasan 41,53 kg/mm2, 36,01 kg/mm2 dan 33,01 kg/mm2. Penurunan nilai kekerasan aluminium 6061 setelah diberi perlakuan carburizing disebabkan karena berubahnya struktur mikro dari aluminium 6061 setelah perlakuan carburizing dibandingkan dengan raw material. Hasil foto mikro pada spesimen uji menunjukkan bahwa setelah proses carburizing didominasi oleh fasa tidak stabil yang homogen, sehingga dapat menyebabkan nilai kekerasan menurun.

Abstract

The high number of work accidents that occur in Indonesia causes many economic losses for both employees and companies. The aims of this study included knowing the effect of OSH implementation on performance, the influence of the work environment on performance, the influence of competence on performance, and the effect of OSH implementation, work environment, and competence on the performance of SMK alumni employees in the AHASS workshop in Malang City. The population in this study were all AHASS workshop mechanics in the city of Malang. Sampling was carried out by proportional random sampling and obtained as many as 118 people. The research design uses a correlational quantitative design. The results showed that there was a significant contribution between K3, work environment, and competency on the performance of SMK alumni employees in the AHASS workshop in Malang City. This is indicated by the contribution value of 63.4%. Partially, the application of OSH contributed 30.22%, perceptions of the work environment contributed 15.12%, and competence contributed 17.8%. So the conclusion from this study is that OSH, work environment, and competence each have an influence on the performance of SMK alumni employees. All three simultaneously have a significant contribution to performance. So it is hoped that the AHASS workshop can create a comfortable and safe work environment for employees, besides that mechanics are also expected to always improve the application of K3 at work.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a web-based instructional package integrated with the SIPEJAR platform for the Computer Aided Design (CAD) course at Universitas Negeri Malang, employing a Project Based Learning (PjBL) approach grounded in social constructivism. The development process followed the ADDIE model through the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Validation by content and media experts indicated high feasibility with scores above 85%. Implementation in a blended learning setting revealed significant improvements in students’ comprehension (from 16.7% to 73.3%), engagement (from 10% to 83.3%), learning satisfaction (from 16.7% to 76.7%), and motivation, which increased among all respondents. Findings highlight that the developed package is not only technically feasible but also enhances collaborative interaction, critical thinking skills, and student readiness for industry demands. This study contributes to contextual digital learning design in technical education and recommends broader application to similar courses along with the integration of learning analytics for continuous improvement.

Abstract

The Quester CWE 370 truck is one of the most widely used transport vehicles in the industry, where reliability and operational efficiency are critical to ensuring a smooth supply chain. This research aims to optimize truck performance through vessel system modification, which focuses on improving fuel strength and efficiency. The modification process includes checking the raw material, cutting, welding, and smoothing, which is followed by testing to ensure fuel flow stability and better engine response. The results show that vessel system modifications not only improve fuel efficiency, but also extend engine life and reduce the need for routine maintenance. Thus, these modifications provide long-term benefits for the company in terms of operational cost savings and increased productivity.
