Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop a multimedia learning physics based on local wisdom in PALI Regency that is valid, practical, and has a potential effect on learning outcomes and students' learning motivation. The development research uses the Rowntree model which has three stages including the planning stage, the development stage, and the evaluation stage. The evaluation stage using Tessmer's formative evaluation includes self-evaluation, expert review, one to one evaluation, small groups and field tests. This research was conducted in class X MIPA 3 consisting of 25 students. The research instruments used are walkthroughs, questionnaires and tests. Expert validation results show that the developed multimedia is very valid with an average score of 3.70. The results of the practicality questionnaire show that the product developed is very practical by obtaining a one-to-one evaluation percentage of 81.3% and a small group percentage of 85.4%. Multimedia effectiveness in terms of N-gain with an average N-gain of 0.68 in the medium category. The results of the learning motivation questionnaire showed that's average value of 34 where students have moderate learning motivation. Thus, it can be concluded that multimedia learning physics based on local wisdom in PALI Regency can be valid and practical as well as effective in improving student learning outcomes, work and energy, and increasing student motivation.

Abstract

This research aims For the purpose of producing instructional films that center on genuine aspects of the Palembang culture and for the purpose of gaining an understanding of the impact that students have on video production applications. In the course of this investigation, the Four D's paradigm, which is often used in developmental studies, is utilized. The students that are taking part in this study are students from SD Negeri 143 Palembang who are in the fifth grade. A very valid rating of 88% has been awarded to the local wisdom learning film from Palembang that was directed at the fifth grade of primary school students and focused on the subject of people and humanity. During the course of the product testing period, a survey was administered to 93 percent of the participants in order to determine the extent to which they were engaged with the product. As a result, the local wisdom learning video that was created for fifth graders in Palembang and focused on the topic of people and their environment is genuine and has received some great responses. When it comes to instructional objectives, this movie is perfect.

Abstract

The implementation of Project Based Learning workshop in the framework of community service activieties was carried out on November 4, 2023 for teachers at SMAN 1 Banding Agung, South Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. The worshop aim is to apply the project based learning methode in subjects at the class. The training materials are: 1) Practical insight into the project based learning method, 2) How to analyze Basic Competensies (BC) that can be implemented in the project based learning model. 3) Practice selecting BC that can be aplly for project based learning methode. 4) Example of a lesson plan (RPP) that suitable for the project based learning method. 5) Examples of learning media that use the project based learning methode. 6) Exercise in preparing RPP using the project based learning method. 7) Evaluation. The results of the questionnaire that is given to training participants showed that the majority of training participants responded well to this training. According to them, the material presented is well organized, very relevant and as expected. The material provided makes it easier for them to provide understanding to colleagues to work together to improve/develop learning designs. The presenter was considered to really understand the material being presented and presented the material well and answered the participants' questions well.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan elektronik Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (e-LKPD) yang dirancang untuk membantu pemahaman konsep siswa mengenai materi konsep usaha dan energi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep usaha dan energi masih kurang dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran di sekolah yang masih menerapkan pembelajaran konvensional yang berpusat pada guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan model penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan menggunakan paradigma ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) merupakan metodologi penelitian yang digunakan. Dengan skor rata-rata 4,5 dari skala 5, hasil validasi ahli menunjukkan bahwa e-LKPD yang dihasilkan valid dan layak digunakan. Selanjutnya, hasil impelementasi menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan e-LKPD secara signifikan meningkatkan pemahaman konseptual siswa dengan rata-rata N-gain siswa adalah 0,48, yang berada dalam kisaran peningkatan yang terkategori sedang. 90% siswa merasa bahwa e-LKPD membantu mereka memahami topik tersebut, dan 85% mengatakan bahwa e-LKPD membuat pembelajaran menjadi lebih menarik dan partisipatif. Reaksi siswa terhadap penggunaan e-LKPD sangat baik. Secara keseluruhan, e-LKPD dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep fisika.

Abstract

Sungai Pedada Village, Tulung Selapan District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, is a water area that has a high potential for natural disasters such as floods, erosion, abrasion and other natural disasters. Challenging geographical conditions, limited access to electricity and transportation, and low awareness of the public, especially school children, on the importance of disaster mitigation are challenges in their efforts to improve the quality of education in Sungai Pedada schools. This community service activity aims to strengthen disaster preparedness through mitigation education for teachers and students. The implementation method includes the preparation stage, problem socialization, and training in the preparation of teaching materials. mentoring, evaluation, and reflection on activities. The results of the activity show that there is an increase in the knowledge and skills of teachers and students in understanding and applying the concept of natural disaster mitigation in the school environment. The use of teaching materials has been proven to increase students' interest in learning and involvement in the learning process, while strengthening their understanding of disaster preparedness measures. This activity is expected to be a model for the implementation of technology-based disaster mitigation education in remote areas, as well as support the realization of disaster resilient schools in the waters of the Pedada River.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran RADEC (Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, Create) terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) materi perubahan lingkungan di kelas V SD Negeri 6 Lubai. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya pemahaman konsep siswa yang disebabkan oleh dominasi metode pembelajaran konvensional yang kurang melibatkan siswa secara aktif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain quasi experiment type non-equivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 30 siswa yang terbagi dalam dua kelas, yaitu kelas VA sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VB sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes esai yang telah melalui proses validasi, uji reliabilitas, dan uji tingkat kesukaran. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara nilai rata-rata posttest siswa kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Nilai rata-rata posttest siswa pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 86,33, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol sebesar 72,67. Berdasarkan hasil uji independent sample t-test, diperoleh nilai t_hitung sebesar 4,031 dan t_tabel sebesar 2,048 (pada taraf signifikansi 5% dengan df = 28). Karena t_hitung > t_tabel (4,031 > 2,048), maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penggunaan model pembelajaran RADEC terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa. Dengan demikian, model RADEC terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi perubahan lingkungan dalam mata pelajaran IPA.

Abstract

The integration of local wisdom with the approach of science, environment, technology and society (SETS) in the development of e-modules of physics presents significant progression in educational methodologies. The research was conducted on students of SMAN 16 Palembang class XI.The instruments used in the research are documentation, walkthroughs, questionnaires and tests. The research results were obtained based on an expert review that the e-module developed was declared very valid with an average of 4.34 in terms of material, media and language aspects. At the One-to-One stage, an average of 4.17 was obtained in the practical category. At the Small Group stage, an average of 3.81 was obtained in the practical category. In the Field Test phase, it has an n-gain score of 0.72 which is in the high category and a percentage of 71.96% in the quite effective category. In conclusion, to evaluate the effectiveness of an e-modules of physics that integrates local wisdom and setting sets clarifies a promising methodology for contemporary education. The intersection of local wisdom and scientific education thus portrays a convincing view for future pedagogical approaches in high schools, defending the learning that is significant and impactful.

Abstract

This research aims to discover whatever local wisdom in Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra, can be used as a resource for learning physics in high school as well as whatever basic competencies in physics subjects can be integrated with the local wisdom of Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra. This research was qualitative in nature. The data analysis techniques used was the Miles and Huberman model consisting of data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Based on the findings there are six local wisdoms in Ogan Ilir Regency that can serve as resource for learning Physics in high school, namely: the Knock-Down House from Tanjung Batu, Dodol from Tebing Gerinting, Mapak Raje Dance from Indralaya, Gebeng cloth from Limbang Jaya Tanjung Batu, Mande skill from Tanjung Dayang, and Syarofal 'Anam (Terbangan) from Indralaya. There are six basic competencies in the physics subject in high school that can be integrated with the local wisdom of Ogan Ilir Regency, two (3.1 and 3.7) from class X and four (3.2, 3.3., 3.5, 3.8.) from class XI.

Abstract

Sekolah dasar (SD) merupakan lembaga pendidikan bagi anak usia 7-12 tahun yang mempunyai peranan yang sangat penting. Oleh karena itu pelaksanaan pembelajaran di sekolah dasar harus dilaksanakan dengan sangat hati-hati terutama pada keberhasilan peserta didik dalam melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran. Salah satu hal yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar adalah dengan penggunaan model dan media pembelajaran yang tepat. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kontekstual berbantuan media powerpoint interaktif tema peristiwa dalam kehidupan terhadap hasil belajar siswa SD. Populasi penelitian ini seluruh siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 92 siswa dengan teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive Sampling dimana pengambilan sampel tidak secara acak akan tetapi dengan pertimbangan tertentu, maka terpilih 2 kelas yaitu kelas V.A sebagai kelas eksperimen berjumlah 30 siswa dan kelas V.C sebagai kelas kontrol berjumlah 30 siswa. Peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen dengan pendekatan penelitian Quasi Experimental dan bentuk design yang digunakan yaitu Nonequivalent Control Group Design dengan terdapat pretest dan posttest sebagai alat ukur perbedaan hasil belajar siswa. Peneliti menggunakan model pembelajaran kontekstual berbantuan media powerpoint interaktif di kelas eksperimen dan model pembelajaran konvensional di kelas kontrol. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan peneliti adalah soal pilihan ganda berjumlah 20 butir soal. Teknik pengumpulan data mengguakan tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas menggunakan uji Kolmogrov-Smirnov, uji homogenitas menggunakan uji F, dan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji Independent sampel T-Test. Berdasarkan perhitungan uji hipotesis diperoleh nilai sig. (2-tailed) adalah 0,000 yang berarti sig (2-tailed) kurang dari 0.05 (<0.05) artinya terdapat nilai signifikan dengan kriteria t-hitung 10.152 > t-tabel 1.671. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ditolak dan diterima yang artinya ada pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran kontekstual berbantuan media powerpoint interaktif tema peristiwa dalam kehidupan terhadap hasil belajar siswa SD.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk melatih guru dalam membuat komik berbasis kearifan lokal berbantuan aplikasi Pixton. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian yang digunakan yaitu persiapan dan sosialisasi, pelatihan, refleksi dan evaluasi. Instrumen evaluasi kegiatan menggunakan angket yang dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu sebanyak 93% guru dapat merancang materi bermuatan karifan lokal, menyusun naskah cerita komik berkaitan dengan kearifan lokal, dan membuat komik berbasis kearifan lokal menggunakan aplikasi Pixton. Berdasarkan hasil angket yang disebar dapat disimpulkan bahwa rata-rata keterampilan guru dalam membuat komik berbasis kearifan lokal berbantuan aplikasi Pixton sebesar 4,23 yang berada pada kategori sangat tinggi (ST).
