Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan LKPD IPA berbasis siklus belajar Lawson terhadap sikap ingin tahu dan hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasy eksperiment dengan non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas VIII SMP N 1 Sewon tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Sampel penelitian diperoleh metode cluster random sampling. Kelas VIII F merupakan kelas eksperimen, melaksanakan pembelajaran menggunakan LKPD berbasis siklus belajar Lawson sedangkan kelas VIII G sebagai kelas kontrol menggunakan LKS Sekolah. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur sikap ingin tahu peserta didik yaitu angket dan lembar observasi untuk mengamati sikap ingin tahu. Tes digunakan untuk mengukur hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik. Keterlaksanaan pembelajaran diukur dengan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah independent t-test untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya perbedaan kemampuan kognitif awal peserta didik, paired t-test untuk mengetahui pengaruh LKPD terhadap kemampuan kognitif sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan dan uji manova untuk mengetahui pengaruh LKPD terhadap sikap ingin tahu dan hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik serta uji effect size untuk mengetahui besarnya pengaruh.Hasil penelitian terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penerapan LKPD IPA berbasis siklus belajar Lawson terhadap sikap ingin tahu dan hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik.Kata kunci: Kognitif, LKPD, Siklus Belajar Lawson, Sikap Ingin Tahu

Abstract

Angka kejadian hipertensi pada lansia semakin meningkat, komplikasi hipertensi pada lansia adalah risiko stroke, aneurisma, gagal jantung, infark miokard akut dan penyakit ginjal. Penatalaksanaan hipertensi meliputi farmakologi dan non farmakologi, salah satu penatalaksanaan non farmakologi adalah rebusan seledri. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experiment dengan rancangan pre-test and post-test nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah lansia hipertensi dengan jumlah 16 responden pada masing-masing kelompok. Kelompok intervensi (rebusan seledri 200 cc dalam sehari selama lima hari) dan kelompok kontrol (intervensi standar). Analisis univariat menggunakan frekuensi usia, jenis kelamin, pendidikan, pekerjaan, dan hasil pengukuran tekanan darah. Dan analisis bivariat menggunakan Paired T-test dan Independent T-test. Hasil penelitian didapatkan p-value 0,000 < α, (α=0,05) pada kelompok intervensi dan kelompok kontrol sehingga pada penelitian ini H˳ ditolak dan Hα diterima, artinya ada pengaruh yang signifikan rebusan seledri pada kelompok intervensi dan kelompok kontrol tanpa intervensi air rebusan seledri tetapi minum obat hipertensi. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah Senyawa aktif pada seledri dapat menurunkan tekanan darah, sehingga rebusan seledri dapat digunakan sebagai intervensi non farmakologi untuk pasien hipertensi.

Abstract

Children with special needs experience disruptions in their physical, mental, and cognitive development and socialization, causing their daily activities to differ from other children. One classification of children with special needs was Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), in which the status and severity of ASD symptoms are related to cognitive abilities. This study aimed to determine the relationship between autism status in children with special needs and their cognitive abilities. This study employs a quantitative design with a cross-sectional method and involves 55 children with special needs in Malang City, East Java Province, Indonesia. The study was conducted on 55 children with special needs in Malang City in East Java Province, Indonesia. The Autism Spectrum Quotient (AQ-10) questionnaire was used to measure autism status, and cognitive abilities were measured using the Autism Treatment Evaluation Checklist (ATEC). This study showed that as many as 85.5% of children with special needs have characteristics that lead to autism. Most children lived with siblings (72.8%), and 21.8% had siblings with the same condition. The Spearman-Rho analysis indicated a significant relationship between autism status and cognitive abilities (coefficient: 0.425; p-value=0.001). Our study found that children with special needs tend to have ASD status, so children with ASD need to get cognitive therapy according to their abilities. Therefore, parents and special needs schools must collaborate to enhance the cognitive abilities, quality of life, and overall health of special needs students through therapy focused on child's abilities to help them achieve independence and productivity.

Abstract

The complexity of sexuality and sexual trauma experiences, including harassment, unwanted touching, sexual urges, and forced sexual intercourse, should not be underestimated because of the tendency to initiate adverse psychosocial impacts. Sexual harassment can increase mental health risks, which may influence sexual orientation decisions. This quantitative study, using a cross-sectional design, aimed to determine a relationship between sexual trauma experiences and sexual orientation in men who have sex with men (MSM). This study population was MSM living in Palembang and Prabumulih City, with a sample size of 216 respondents. The proportion of respondents with homosexual orientation was 57.1%, and the proportion having sexual trauma experiences was 42.3%. The multiple logistic regression identified a significant relationship between sexual trauma experiences and sexual orientation in MSM with a pvalue of 0.02, an adjusted odds ratio of 2.71, and a 95% CI of 1.17-6.26. These results suggested a higher risk of a different sexual orientation among traumatized MSM compared to MSM without one after controlling access to pornographic content and correcting parenting patterns. Sexual trauma has been shown to affect individual sexual orientation; therefore, special attention is needed due to the impact on future life behavior.
