Abstract

Java Mall is a shopping center in the city of Semarang which is located on a secondary collector road, namely the MT. Haryono which is the main trade route of the city of Semarang and is included in one of the Petawangi areas (Peterongan - Tawang - Siliwangi), namely the Peterongan trading area. The development of the development of the Java mall is a special attraction for visitors because every month there are events in the form of computer exhibitions, property, cars, etc., in addition there are cinemas and food markets. The problem that occurred in this research location is the traffic jams that occur due to the influence of the pull of the Java Mall shopping center directly accessed on Jl. MT. Haryono (Semarang). Congestion occurs on the road in front of the Java Mall due to the pull of the Java Mall so that new activities arise such as the use of road bodies for parking vehicles, online motorcycle taxi stops on the shoulder of the road, and street vendors who use the shoulder of the road. Based on these problems, preliminary research was conducted on travel attraction modeling to understand the contribution of Java Mall visitor vehicles to Mt. Haryono based on the development of the area of Java Mall activities. In this study quantitative methods are used. Trip attraction modeling in multi-activity shopping centers is influenced by the floor area of each building shown by the equation Y = 0.003 + 0.151 X1 + 0.052 X2 + 0.066 X3 + 0.091 X4. Calculation of the total trip rate of visitors resulting in a trip attraction generated by the Java Mall during peak hours is 0.066 people / m2, in this case the development of the Java Mall building is considered quite effective with several areas of activity therein.

Abstract

The urban problem that is often experienced by developing countries is the high change of land use in a housing into commercial land. It happens because people often use existing facilities in urban areas regardless of their carrying capacity. The impacts that can be caused generally affect the capacity of transportation facilities and infrastructure. Therefore, changes in land use can affect trip generation. One of the transportation analyzes related to trip generation is trip attraction. The sample location chosen is in the Tlogosari Bumi Housing which has the characteristics of land use change from residential to multifunction land use. There are two types of data used, namely primary data and secondary data. The method used is descriptive analysis, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that the attraction of travel on Tlogosari Raya street is influenced by the number of employees. The recommendation that needs to be done is to enforce permits to control land use change.

Abstract

BRT is one of the mass transportation facilities that has the main function of serving human movement. The existence of BRT can also be used as an alternative besides of personal transportation. To maintain sustainability, BRT needs to apply eco driving. In addition to maintaining the sustainability of the bus, the application of eco driving can also reduce emissions and to save fuel consumption. Emission of released gases can have a negative impact on the environment in the long term whereas excessive fuel consumption can have an impact on the economy if fuel is starting to be difficult to obtain. The application of eco driving is also one way to support the concept of sustainable transportation in its particular urban area on the economic and environmental aspects. The concept cannot run properly if the driver does not apply eco driving. Due to the absence of eco driving can trigger drivers not to behave economically in driving so it gives impact the increase in emissions, excess fuel consumption and affect the sustainability or durability of the bus. This research has a purpose to assess the operational of BRT corridor VI in Semarang City based on eco driving rule. To achieve these purpose, it is necessary to analysis of eco driving level based on BRT corridor VI, analysis of eco driving level based on BRT driver corridor VI and analysis of eco driving indicator not applied by BRT driver corridor VI. Analysis done by using data result from field observation called checklist data. The checklist data that has been obtained will be given a score where the eco driving indicator applied is given a score of 1 whereas that is not applied given a score of 0. Assessment is done on 16 drivers and for each driver is done assessment on 26 stops or segment. The results of the assessment will be summed and processed to obtain the category of eco driving. The results of the analysis show that the level of eco driving in BRT corridor VI is classified as medium. This means that the concept of sustainable transportation has been implemented but not fully yet. This is because 14 of the 16 drivers classified as medium eco driving are still not fully implementing eco driving. Indicator of eco driving that is still often done by the driver is sudden braking, unstable speed, unnecessary accelerate and unnecessary deceleration. These four indicators occupy four major eco-driving indicators that are not appropriate with the concept of sustainable transportation, especially on economic aspects because it can affect the efficiency of fuel consumption and sustainability or durability of the bus.

Abstract

Semarang is the center of government and the center of economic activity in Central Java. The rapidly developing Semarang economy is characterized by an increasing number of in-migration, employment, the quality of education and infrastructure development. These developments led to an increase in the intensity of human movement, which was reflected in an increase in traffic flow dominated by private vehicles. The increasing use of private vehicles can affect the efficiency of the urban economy. One of the efforts in dealing with these problems is by providing public transportation such as BRT. BRT is a manifestation of the development of a public transportation system that supports the concept of Transit Oriented Development (TOD). TOD has a development orientation at the transit point and is surrounded by a high-intensity built-up area with a radius of 400 - 800 meters. To be able to find out whether the transit point in Semarang is in accordance with the development objectives that support TOD, a transit point measurement with the TOD concept in Semarang is measured. The research method used is a quantitative approach with scoring, weighting and spatial analysis methods. The measurement results show that 8% of transit points are in accordance with their application in supporting the concept of Transit Oriented Development with a percentage of transit points that are quite appropriate at 61%, which means that transit points are able to support the transportation system with the concept of Transit Oriented Development. Transit points that are still not appropriate in implementing Transit Oriented Development by 31% of transit points so that it needs to be considered in order to be adapted to local policies to be able to support the transportation system with the concept of Transit Oriented Development. Almost all transit points meet the TOD principle with the use of heterogeneous land use, easy access in changing public transportation modes and designs that support pedestrian and bicycle activities. Only two transit points are included in the "appropriate" category, namely the Simpang Lima transit point and the Gajah transit point. To be able to maximize the transit point, the conformity value of all TOD principles must be included in the high category. However, indicators that are difficult to maximize should be adjusted to the policies in Semarang.

Abstract

Nowadays, more people choose to live in urban areas for economic, technological, sociological or political reasons. This is the cause of increasing population and population density in urban areas. The drastic increase in population can cause various problems. One of the most important problems that can be caused is traffic congestion and the increase in the resulting CO2 emissions. Urban communities have very dynamic mobility and in their mobility they prefer to use private vehicles rather than existing public transportationAlthough there has been Trans Sarbagita as a government effort to provide sustainable public transportation, not many people have taken advantage of the existence of Trans Sarbagita. As a result, Trans Sarbagita's total income is not proportional to its operational costs. In order to reduce operational costs, there are several ways that can be done, one of which is eco-driving. Eco-driving has been widely introduced as an environmentally friendly and economical way of driving that supports aspects of sustainable transportation, but not everyone practices or even knows this, including Trans Sarbagita drivers. Therefore, there is a need for an assessment of the level of eco-driving, especially on Trans Sarbagita to support the concept of sustainable transportation. The data used is a score based on the Guttman scale from the results of observations of five eco-driving indicators for 24 drivers on Trans Sarbagita Corridor II. Based on the analysis that has been carried out, the trans Sarbagita Corridor II eco-driving level is generally included in the medium category. The category level of the bus stop segment is divided into 2 categories, namely 8 bus stop segments with a high eco-driving category and 18 bus stop segments with a moderate eco-driving level. Based on the three aspects of sustainable transportation that must be met, Trans Sarbagita Corridor II is only able to meet all the criteria in the social aspect. In the economic aspect, Trans Sarbagita Corridor II is only able to meet the area accessibility criteria of the 3 existing criteria. Meanwhile, on the environmental aspect, Trans Sarbagita failed to meet the only criterion that must be met, namely the minimization of environmental pollution due to the impact of transportation. Based on the description above, from the three existing aspects, Trans Sarbagita Corridor II has not been supported by economic and environmental aspects, so it can be concluded that Trans Sarbagita Corridor II has not fully supported the concept of sustainable transportation.

Abstract

Jabodetabek with DKI Jakarta as its centre, is a rapidly growing area. Therefore, the DKI Jakarta Provincial government continues to strive to create a Smart City to deal with problems and encourage sustainable city development. One of the concepts in a Smart City is Smart Mobility. Jabodetabek has more than 3 million residents who are commuters. The Transjakarta Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) is a government's effort to realize smart mobility in DKI Jakarta and support movement through the management and technological innovation in public transportation for citizens. The COVID-19 pandemic has caused a drastic decline in the number of public transportation users in the last two years, including BRT Transjakarta. This study aimed to identify aspects of Smart Mobility on BRT Transjakarta Corridor 13 and examine the characteristics and perceptions of commuters towards Smart Mobility of the Transjakarta BRT Corridor 13 during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research resulted in observations from the operations and facilities on the Transjakarta BRT Corridor 13, which were grouped based on the five aspects of Smart Mobility: integration, accessibility, security, flexibility, and efficiency. Socio-economic characteristics and types of movement indicate that these services are used mainly by the productive age group to work, as well as departing from bus stops in Tangerang City with a round-trip type of use. The ease-of-use perception of the five aspects of intelligent mobility resulted in a positive response of 87.2%. Similar results were obtained from the perceived usefulness towards smart mobility aspects of Corridor 13, which resulted in a positive response of 86.6%. Perceived ease-of-use and perceived usefulness of BRT Transjakarta Corridor 13 both resulted in positive response that BRT Transjakarta Corridor 13 if examined from the five aspects of smart mobility (integration, accessibility, security, flexibility, and efficiency) apart from being easy to use, is also beneficial for users who use BRT Transjakarta Corridor 13.

Abstract

Efforts to grow the economy of a region can be done through one of the tourism development strategies. The diversity of tourism destinations in Indonesia reflects that the tourism sector is a priority sector to be developed. To restore the tourism sector after the COVID-19 pandemic, it can be supported by the provision of tourism transportation services. Various forms of transportation services can be an attraction for tourists if they prioritize comfort, safety, and convenience for tourism transportation users. Pekalongan City is one of the cities in Indonesia which is known as the 'Batik City'. Referred to as the 'Batik City', the tourism sector in Pekalongan City is one of the priority sectors. The existence of planning for the Transit Oriented Development (TOD) near Pekalongan Station causes the importance of developing forms of tourism transportation services such as intermodal services which are expected to be a connector between tourist objects. In addition, Pekalongan Station is also the most popular transportation by tourists compared to buses because it can be reached in a short time. The purpose of this research is to determine the preference of intermoda at Pekalongan Station as an effort to develop tourism based on the characteristics of tourist trips. The analysis was carried out using correspondence analysis with descriptive methods through a quantitative approach. The results of this study are that there are 3 modes of transportation that are trending, including private motorbikes, online motorbikes, and rental cars. Private motorbikes were chosen for reasons of low cost with preference for recreational and educational tourism objects, history, and culture. The online motorbike was chosen for the reason that it is easy to reach with a preference for culinary tourism objects. The rental car was chosen for reasons of convenience with preferences for religious tourism objects and shopping tours.
