Abstract

This study aims to develop a physical activity-based learning model and test its effectiveness on the psychological well-being of students with disabilities. Using the Research and Development (R&D) method, this study involved 20 students with disabilities (10 males and 10 females) aged 10-15 years from SLB PKK Bandar Lampung. The results of the study show that the learning model developed has the potential to improve the psychological welfare of students with disabilities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi strategi SLB A Bina Insani dalam memberikan program layanan pubertas bagi remaja perempuan dengan hambatan penglihatan. Masalah utama adalah terbatasnya akses informasi visual yang berdampak pada pemahaman remaja dengan hambatan penglihatan terhadap perubahan fisik dan emosional saat pubertas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SLB A Bina Insani menggunakan strategi layanan berbasis diskusi kelompok, simulasi, dan konseling individu dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran berbentuk audio dan patung manusia. Program ini dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terkait informasi tentang pubertas, terhadap perubahan fisik & emosional. Namun ditemukan beberapa kendala seperti ketiadaan modul berbasis Braille dan kurangnya tenaga profesional kesehatan di sekolah. Berdasarkan temuan ini, direkomendasikan pengembangan modul khusus, pelatihan guru, serta peningkatan kolaborasi dengan tenaga medis untuk memperkuat layanan. Penelitian ini meningkatkan pemahaman tentang pentingnya pendekatan adaptif dalam layanan pubertas bagi siswa perempuan dengan hambatan penglihatan

Abstract

Students with visual impairments often face challenges in performing orientation and mobility (O&M) activities independently, particularly without assistive tools such as canes. In the school environment, these skills are essential to ensure safety, spatial awareness, and confidence. This study aims to explore the teacher's strategies in enhancing the O&M skills of a visually impaired student within a school setting without relying on a cane. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study design, data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation involving a Grade VII student and a classroom teacher at SLB A Bina Insani. The findings reveal that the teacher served as a facilitator, motivator, and primary trainer by applying gradual, structured training methods, including step-counting, spatial orientation, sensory exploration, and route repetition. As a result, the student demonstrated significant improvement in navigating the school environment confidently and independently without a cane. This study highlights the importance of teacher involvement and adaptive strategies in fostering mobility independence among students with visual impairments.

Abstract

fostering the independence of their visually impaired children. Using a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study method, data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation involving three blind parents and their children. The results show that blind parents implement a democratic parenting style, using strategies based on verbal communication, daily routines, and gradual life skills training. Despite physical limitations and environmental barriers, the parents were still able to foster their children’s independence in areas such as personal hygiene, mobility, and simple decision-making. Social support from spouses, extended family, and educational institutions further reinforced the effectiveness of the parenting strategies used. This study highlights that disability does not hinder parenting capacity, and emphasizes the importance of collaboration between family and the surrounding environment to optimally support the development of children with visual impairments.

Abstract

This study was a dercriptive qualitative research that aimed to analyze the character education based on the prior knowledge of the Second Semester students of Islamic Religion Education (PAI) Study Program in the Institute Islamic Religion (IAI) Tafaqquh Fiddin Dumai Study Year 2021/2022. The object of this research were 23 students of PAI Study Program in IAI Dumai. The students were group according to the prior knowledge i.e high, middle and low those are determined by the Middle Semester Examination (UTS) mark. The data collection tools tha we used were questionnaire, observation sheet and interview those are compiled based on the 18 value of character education, i.e: (1) religious, (2) honest, (3) tolerance, (4) discipline, (5) hard work, (6) creative, (7) independent, (8) democratic, (9) curiosity, (10 ) national spirit, (11) love the homeland, (12) appreciate achievements, (13) friendly or communicative, (14) love peace, (15) love to read, (16) care about the environment, (17) care about social, and (18) responsibility. Based on the data analysis relut obtain the average score of the questionnaire for students with high prior knowledge is 36.5, higher than the average score for the questionnaire for students with medium prior knowledge, which is 31.0 and higher than the average score of the questionnaire for students with low prior knowledge, which is 31.9. This study concludes that character education is directly proportional to students' prior knowledge.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas pentingnya pendidikan agama Islam berwawasan global dalam menghadapi era Society 5.0. Era ini ditandai dengan revolusi digital dan perkembangan teknologi yang mempengaruhi berbagai aspek kehidupan manusia. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi pustaka atau analisis konten. Adaapun hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa pendidikan agama Islam yang berwawasan global akan mempersiapkan generasi muda untuk menghadapi tantangan multidimensional yang dihadirkan oleh kemajuan teknologi, demografi global, dan perubahan sosial yang kompleks. Sebagai dasar paradigma, pendidikan agama Islam berwawasan global memungkinkan integrasi nilai-nilai agama, kultural, dan moral yang relevan dengan konteks global. Dalam mempersiapkan para siswa, para pendidik harus menerapkan pendekatan yang holistik dan inklusif. Hal ini melibatkan pengajaran tidak hanya mengenai doktrin dan ritual agama, tetapi juga menekankan pada pemahaman mendalam tentang universalitas dan nilai-nilai humanistik Islam yang dapat diadopsi dalam lingkungan yang beragam. Pendidikan agama Islam berwawasan global juga memberikan jembatan dalam mempromosikan perdamaian, toleransi, dan pemahaman antarbudaya. Pendidikan agama Islam berwawasan global menjadi solusi dalam menghadapi era ini, dengan memberikan landasan moral, mengembangkan kedewasaan epistemologis, dan mempersiapkan siswa untuk menjadi warga negara global yang berkoexistensi harmonis dalam masyarakat berbasis teknologi ini.
