Abstract

Abstract : Research on the application of active strategies Practice-Rehearsal Pairs have been conducted to determine whether application of active strategies Practice-Rehearsal Pairs can improve student achievement on the Colloid subject in class XI SMAN 2 Pekanbaru. The research’s form is an experimental research with pretest-posttest design. The research was conducted on the even semester in academic year 2014/2015. The sample consisted of two classes, class XI Science 1 as the experimental and class XI Science 2 as the control class which randomly selected after tests of normality and homogeneity. Experimental class was treated by given a strategies Practice-Rehearsal Pairs, while the control class was not given strategies Practice-Rehearsal Pairs. Data collection technique use this the test. Data analysis technique use this the-test. Based on the results of the final data processing obtained tcount> ttable, it is 2,560 > 1,669. This shows that the application of active strategies Practice-Rehearsal Pairs can improve student achievement on the Colloid subject in class XI Science SMAN 2 Pekanbaru, the effect of an increase of 9,49%.Keywords: Colloid, Active Strategies, Learning Achievement, Practice-Rehearsal Pairs.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to determine the improvement of students ' learning achievement in the application of the Learning Discovery Learning model on the subject of ion equilibrium and pH of class salt solution XI SMA Negeri 10 Pekanbaru. This type of research is experimental research with draft research using the Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population consists of 4 classes and the samples consist of 2 randomly selected classes namely the XI MIPA 1 class as the experimental class and the XI MIPA 2 class as the control class. Experiment classes are given the implementation of the Discovery Learning learning model while the control class has no Discovery learning model. Research instruments are objective questions that have been tested for validity and reliability. Research hypothesis testing using right-side test-T. Based on the results of data analysis obtained that the value of tcount = 10 > ttable = 1.67 then the hypothesis accepted this means that increasing students ' learning achievements with the application of discovery learning models are acceptable.Key Words: Discovery learning Model Learning, learning achievement, Ion equilibrium and the pH of salt solution

Abstract

Abstract: The research aims to increase student learning achievement on the topic of hydrocarbons in class X Senior High School (SMAN) 4 Pekanbaru. Media Chem Puzzle is adapted to the topic of hydrocarbons. The research is a kind of experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The samples of this research were the students of class X4 as the experimental class and students of class X7 as the control class. Experimental class is a class that is used to media Chem Puzzle while the control class was not. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on data analysis of data obtained tcount> ttable is 3,74>1.67, means that the use of Chem Puzzle can improve student learning achievement on the topic of hydrocarbons in class X Senior High School (SMAN) 4 Pekanbaru. The category improvement of student achievement at experiment class was high category with N-gain normalized is 0,79. Meanwhile, the category improvement of student achievement in control class was medium category with N-gain normalized is 0,64.Keywords :Achievement, Chem Puzzle, Hydrocarbons

Abstract

Abstrak: The research aims to determine whether the application of the improve learning model to improve student learning achievement on the subject of chemical bonds in the class x MIA MAN 1 pekanbaru. The type of this research is experimental research with randomized control group pretest-posttest design. Sample of  research is X MIA 2 as the experimental class, X MIA 1 as the control class.control class and experimental class normality test using Liliefors test and homogeneity test using equality of two average test. The experimental group was treated implementation of IMPROVE while the control group without implementation of IMPROVE.  T-test right side was used as analysis technique. Based on the data analysis obtained  tcount>ttable is 4,084 > 1,667,meaning that the application of the improve learning model to improve student learning achievement on the subject of chemical bonds in the class x MIA MAN 1 pekanbaru  Key Words: IMPROVE,  Learning achievement, chemical bonds

Abstract

Abstract: The Research about application of the learning inquiry was conducted to improve student’s achievement on the topic of solubility and solubility product constant in class XI IPA SMAN 10 Pekanbaru. This research was experimental research based on pretest-posttest design. The samples of this research were the students of class Xl IPA 5 as the control class and students of class XI IPA 4 as the experimental class that randomly selected after testing homogeneity. Test experimental class was applied learning inquiry, while the control class was not. Applied data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on analysis of data obtained tarithmetic> ttable is 2,27 > 1,66, means that the application of learning inquiry can improve student achievement on the subject the result solubility and solubility product constant in class XI Science SMAN 10 Pekanbaru go with the inereasing percentage of 7,09%.KeyWords : Learning inquiry, Learning Achievement . Abstract

Abstract: The purposes of research are to know the improvement of student learning outcomes by implementing problem posing learning model on the subject of chemical bonds in class X MIPA SMAN 4 Pekanbaru.. This research is experimental research using Design Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest. The population in the research consist of 4 class, that is X MIPA 1, X MIPA 2, X MIPA 3 and X MIPA 4. The research sample consisted two class, class X MIPA 4 as experiment class and class X MIPA 2 as control class that has tested by normality test using Liliefors test and homogeneity test using equality of two average test. Hypothesis was done by using test-t right side to choiced the improvement category of student achievement. Research result shown that the implementation of problem posing learning model can improve student learning outcomes on the chemical bonds subject where tarithmetic = 2,07 > ttable = 1,67.Key Words: Learning Model Problem Posing, Learning Outcomes, Chemical Bonds

Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this research has been to produce LKPD based on construktivisme on the subject of acid-base solution valid based on feasibility of content, language, presentation and graphic. The research was conducted in the Faculty of Education and Teachers Training University of Riau on March-June, 2019. The type of this research was Research and Development (R&D) with the 4-D development model which covers Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. Because time and cost limitation, this research was only done until the development step and was followed by the limited trial. The object of this research was constructivism-based student activity sheet. The data analysis technique was descriptive statistical analysis by calculating the percentage of validation’s score. The student’s activity sheet validation of eligibility result by 3 lecturers as the experts was 94.65% which categorize as valid and has already fulfilled the eligibility of contents, language, presentation, and the graphic. The student’s activity sheet validation of eligibility result by teachers as the users was 85,71% with valid categorize, It can be concluded that the student’s activity sheet that already developed can be used in the teaching and learning process. Based on the limited trial that already done to 12 students, the respond showed 94,45% which in the positive criterion.Key Words: Development, LKPD, Constructivism, Acid-Base Solution
