Abstract

Abstrak---Berdasarkan Permenkes Republik Indonesia No. 006 tahun 2012 tentang industri dan usaha obat tradisional dinyatakan bahwa obat tradisional dilarang megandung bahan kimia hasil isolasi atau sintetik yang berkhasiat obat. Namun pada kenyataanya ada beberapa perusahaan obat tradisional yang menambahkan bahan kimia obat pada produknya. Salah satu dari bahan kimia yang ditambahkan adalah furosemid yang memiliki khasiat sebagai diuretik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya obat cina pelangsing yang beredar di Jakarta Timur yang mengandung furosemid dan mengetahui kadar furosemid yang terkandung dalam obat cina pelangsing yang beredar di Jakarta Timur. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap tiga sampel obat cina pelangsing dengan menggunakan metode Kromatografi Lapis Tipis (KLT). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ke tiga sampel obat cina pelangsing mengandung furosemid. Penelitian kemudian dilanjutkan dengan uji kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode spektrofotometri UV pada panjang gelombang 277 nm. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kadar rata-rata furosemid dalam sampel A, B dan C masing-masing sebesar 2,872 %, 5,92 %, dan 9,0 %. Maka dapat disimpulkan ketiga sampel obat cina pelangsing tidak layak untuk dikonsumsi dan melanggar peraturan kepala BPOM no HK.03.1.23.02.12.1248 Tahun 2012.

Abstract

Red and green leaves of the pucuk merah (Syzygium myrtifolium Walp.) contain flavonoids, saponins, and tannins which have the potential as antioxidants. The purpose is test out the antioxidant activity of red leaves and green leaves infusions of red shoots (S. myrtifolium). Test material is extracted using infusion method. The testing of antioxidant activity using 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) method. The free radical concentration of DPPH was analyzed using UV-Vis spectrophotometer after addition of various concentrations of S. myrtifolium leaves infusion extracts. Various concentrations of S. myrtafolium leaves infusion extracts used were 20 ppm; 10 ppm; 5 ppm; 2.5 ppm; 1.25 ppm; 0.625 ppm. Vitamin C solutions as the positive control were prepared on 5; 2.5; 1.25; 0,625; 0.3125 ppm. The result of the experiment showed the thick red and green leaf extract has IC50 value of 11,130 ppm and 10,522 ppm. The antioxidant activity of green leaf extract is higher than the red leaf extract. Research on green leaves extract of S. myrtafolium is suggested for further research as anticancer.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Asthma is a chronic inflammatory disease that is usually characterized by airway inflammation. One of the plants that has been used for a long time to treat asthma is the root of Clerodendrum serratum. This study aimed to determine the potential of the active compound of senggugu root as an anti-asthma which was carried out in silico including prediction of molecular docking, physicochemical properties, and prediction of toxicity. Molecular docking prediction uses PLANTS, while physicochemical properties and toxicity uses the ProTox and pkCSM websites. Molecular docking results showed that the compounds apigenin-7-glucoside, β-Dihydrofucosterol, icosahydropicenic acid, D-mannitol, and queretaroic acid had better affinity than theophylline as the reference compound. Based on lipinski's role of five analysis, from the seven active compounds, there is apigenin-7-glucoside was not meet the requirements for lipinski's role of five but can still qualify for use as new drug compounds by increasing their permeability. The compound β-Dihydrofucosterol is the best candidate, because β-Dihydrofucosterol shows good parameters of absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion. For prediction of β-Dihydrofucosterol toxicity is in class IV which is still safer than the comparator drug theophylline. The β-Dihydrofucosterol compound is also predicted not to have mutagenic, hepatotoxic, or sensitive effects for the skin. Keywords: asthma, Clerodendrum serratum, in silico, molecular docking

Abstract

Fever or pyrexia is a symptom of an illness. Disease infections such as dengue fever, typhus, malaria, liver inflammation, and other infectious diseases are examples of diseases that often cause fever symptoms. To reduce this negative impact means that fever needs to be treated with antipyretics. This study was aimed to determine the antipyretic effectiveness of a combination of papaya and leaf extracts of pare. A total of 15 healthy male mice (Mus musculus) of the ddY strain were 2-3 months old with a weight of 20-30 g were used in this study. Treatment in five groups is group I; ibuprofen 400 mg, group II; Carboxymethyl Cellulosa or CMC-Na 1%, group III (100:100) mg/kg BW, group dose IV (50:150) mg/kg BW, and group dose V (150:50) mg/kg BW, induced fever using the diptheria, pertussis, tetanus (DPT) vaccine with a volume of 0.1 cc (IP) and carried out three repetitions. Observations were made by measuring the rectal temperature of mice using a digital thermometer before DPT vaccine injection or average temperature, 0 minutes (after DPT vaccine injection), 30, 60, 90, and 120 minutes after administering test materials. The combination of papaya leaves and pare leaves can reduce the body temperature of mice. The dose (150:50) mg/kg BW provides the reduction in weight loss body temperature of mice; however, it was not significantly different from ibuprofen.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a valid SOLE-based reaction rate electronic student activity sheet (E-LKPD) and to determine user responses to the resulting product. The research method used is research and development (R&D) using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) development model. The research instrument is a validation sheet given to three validators and a user response sheet to one chemistry teacher of Senior High School 7 Pekanbaru and one chemistry teacher of Senior High School 11 Pekanbaru as well as 13 class XI students of Senior High School 7 Pekanbaru and 13 class XI students of Senior High School 11 Pekanbaru. The data analysis technique is carried out by calculating the percentage of validation assessment scores and user responses, the results of which are measured by an attitude assessment table. The results of the study indicate that the electronic student activity sheet (E-LKPD) based on SOLE that was developed has met the valid criteria by the material validator based on the aspect of content feasibility of 92.19%, SOLE model characteristics of 95.83%, pedagogic of 93.75%, linguistic of 95.83% and graphic of 95.83%. For the media validator based on the aspect of size of 100%, cover design of 92.50% and content design of 97.50%. While the user response based on teacher and student responses is in the very good criteria with scores of 94.79% and 88.05% respectively.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Formaldehid merupakan suatu senyawa kimia yang berbentuk gas tidak berwarna, mudah menguap, berbau spesifik dan bersifat iritatif. Formaldehid digunakan pada sediaan cat kuku yang bertujuan sebagai pengawet dan sebagai selaput untuk membentuk resin yang berguna untuk meningkatkan daya lekat. Menurut Peraturan Kepala Badan POM No. HK 03.1.28.11.07517 tahun 2011, formaldehid digunakan dalam formulasi cat kuku dengan persyaratan kadar maksimum 5%. Oleh karena itu dilakukan analisis formaldehid pada sediaan cat kuku yang beredar di Kota Bekasi. Penelitian dilakukan secara kualitatif menggunakan kromatografi lapis tipis (KLT) dan kuantitatif menggunakan metode spektrofotometri UV-Vis pada 3 sampel teregistrasi dan 3 sampel tidak teregistrasi yang diambil secara acak dengan berbagai merek. Uji kualitatif formaldehid dilakukan dengan KLT menggunakan eluen terbaik etil asetat : asam asetat : metanol (5:2:3). Penetapan kadar dilakukan secara spektrofotometri UV-Vis pada panjang gelombang 554 nm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari uji kualitatif 6 sampel cat kuku tersebut positif mengandung formaldehid. Kadar formaldehid pada keenam sampel tersebut adalah 0,0042% (R1), 0,0021% (R2), 0,0007% (R3), 0,0014% (TR1), 0,0006% (TR2), 0,0013% (TR3). Hasil dari penelitian ini diketahui tidak terdapat cat kuku yang beredar di kota Bekasi yang melebihi syarat kadar formaldehid yang ditetapkan oleh Badan POM RI. Abstract

Lip tint merupakan salah satu kosmetik dekoratif bibir yang banyak diminati para wanita terutama pada kalangan remaja. Rhodamin B merupakan zat warna sintetik yang digunakan sebagai zat warna untuk kertas, tekstil, wool, sutra, dan sebagai reagensia untuk analisis antimon, kobalt, bismut, dan lain-lain. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membuktikan adanya kandungan Rhodamin B dan menentukan kadar senyawa Rhodamin B pada lip tint yang dijual di marketplace shopee. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kromatografi lapis tipis preparatif (KLTp) dan metode spektrofotometri UV-Vis. Identifikasi kualitatif Rhodamin B dilakukan dengan kromatografi lapis tipis preparatif (KLTp) menggunakan eluen etil asetat, n-butanol, dan ammonia (20:55:25) yang menghasilkan noda merah muda jika dilihat secara visual dan fluoresensi kuning di bawah sinar UV 366 nm. Identifikasi kuantitatif dilakukan untuk menentukan kadar pada sampel menggunakan spektrofotometri UV-Vis dengan panjang gelombang 539 nm. Ada tiga sampel yang dianalisis dengan kode A, B, dan C. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa dari identifikasi kualitatif dengan metode kromatografi lapis tipis preparatif (KLTp) terdapat satu sampel yang positif mengandung Rhodamin B yaitu sampel dengan kode B dengan kadar Rhodamin B dalam sampel diperiksa sebesar 0,06835 % ±SD 0,00275. Kadar Rhodamin B yang terdapat pada sampel B tergolong sedikit, tetapi dalam jangka panjang dapat menimbulkan efek toksik pada tubuh. Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement and category of improvement in students' understanding of the concept of buffer solutions by applying the Search, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS) learning model. The form of this study is an experimental research with a Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest design. The population of this study is all students of class XI MIPA SMAN 7 Pekanbaru for the 2024/2025 school year. The research sample was students in class XI MIPA 1 as an experimental class and students in class XI MIPA 2 as a control class. The experimental class was given the treatment of the application of the SSCS learning model, while the control class was given learning without the SSCS model. The results of the data hypothesis test analysis technique used the right-hand t-test. Based on the analysis of research data, it was obtained that the tcount of 2.07 was greater than the ttable of 1.67 (dk = 67, α = 0.05) with the category of increasing students' understanding of concepts of 0.74 in the high category. The results of the study show that the Search, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS) learning model can improve students' understanding of the concept of buffer solutions in class XI MIPA SMAN 7 Pekanbaru.
