Surabaya is the second-largest city in Indonesia. There is great hope for prospective teachers in Surabaya to have high credibility because their salaries are equivalent to the City Minimum Wage. The salary is the largest when compared to other cities in East Java province. The favorite field of science in social science is economics. However, to determine the basic economic knowledge that students will have in schools properly, it is the economics teacher who plays a big role. So it is necessary to research economic knowledge for prospective economics teachers before they become actual teachers. This study aims to determine how deep the basic knowledge of economics is in students of the Economic Education study program in Surabaya, where they are prospective economics teachers. This research method applies descriptive statistical methods. The survey was conducted on 338 students who are prospective economics teachers. There are only two Economic Education study programs in Surabaya, namely the State University of Surabaya (Unesa) and the IKIP Widya Darma Surabaya (IWIDA). All populations in this study were used as samples. The results showed that Unesa was indeed superior in understanding basic economics. The most important implication is that Unesa needs to pay special attention to prospective economic teachers who are female, come from private schools, come from outside the city of Surabaya, and come from SMK. Meanwhile, IWIDA needs to pay special attention to prospective economic teachers who are female, come from private schools, come from Surabaya, and come from MA.

The objective of this study to determine the effect of the use of online learning media on student's learning achievement in the covid-19 pandemic. The sample in this study used a random sample from class XI Accounting 1 dan 2 SMK Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Waru Sidoarjo The research approach used in this research is quantitative research. Regression analysis in this study using SPSS 21.0 for windows software. The results showed that the use of online learning media had a positive effect on student achievement during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Saat ini teknologi berkembang menjadi kebutuhan bagi masyarakat terlebih di Indonesia. Banyak market place yang disediakan secara online dari pada bertatap muka langsung ke penjual. Barang yang dijajakanpun berbagai macam mulai dari kebutuhan primer sampai kebutuhan tersier. Banyak sekali market place online yang sering digunakan oleh masyarakat seperti Lazada, Shopee, Tokopedia, dan masih banyak sekali. Namun, kecenderungan untuk berkonsumsi secara online ini belum diimbangi dengan pengetahuan dan pemahaman para penjual yang ingin menjajakan dagangannya. Para penjual masih minim pengetahuan mengenai bagaimana cara memasarkan barang-barang mereka dengan memiliki website sendiri. Kebanyakan dari penjual online masih mengandalkan market place yang sudah ada. Seperti observasi awal yang dilakukan di Plaza Mall Surabaya, kebayakan dari mereka masih mengandalkan penjualan barang secara manual kepada pembeli sedangkan jika ditilik dari permintaan pasar saat ini sudah banyak masyarakat yang beralih untuk berbelanja secara online. Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk menganalisa penggunaan website “wix.com” kepada para pedagang khususnya pengusaha baju di Royal Plaza. Jika masyarakat ingin berbelanjapun untuk kebutuhan sekunder seperti baju dan lain sebagainya lebih memilih menggunakan teknologi tepat guna dalam melakukan berbagai aktifitas jual beli. This study aims to determine whether sales and location of modern markets affect sales in traditional markets. This study uses a quantitative approach, with data collection techniques using questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique was using a multiple linear regression model using a level of 0.05 (5%) with the classical assumption test. Statistical results show that the Sales variable has an at-count value of 2,049 with an at-table value of 1,666. In the location variable, the t-count value is 3.146 with an at-table value of 1.666 at the 0.02 level. In conclusion, there is an influence between the level of modern market sales on sales turnover in traditional markets. The three dominant indicators are the income level of the community, products, and customers with a significant decline. the influence of modern market location on sales turnover in traditional markets. This condition is dominated by three indicators, including market traffic, availability of parking spaces, and market environment. Traditional markets can survive by increasing their advantages in terms of customer satisfaction through improved service in a family manner, lower product prices, product freshness, and infrastructure through which can be facilitated by the local government.

Conditions in various parts of the world that are experiencing a pandemic period due to the spread of the corona virus have caused massive changes in various fields. Even the world of education cannot avoid and be affected by the pandemic. According to Dikbud's instructions, the learning process in schools at all levels of education is carried out by distance learning (PJJ) using internet or online media. This study aims to determine the role of online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic on student learning. The population of this study were students of class XII Accounting at SMK Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Waru. Sampling was taken by purposive sampling so that the sample used was 22 students as respondents. Based on the results of interview analysis, it was concluded that students as research objects felt the direct impact of online learning. Students as research objects feel fear and anxiety, students also know the dangers of epidemics, students also gain online learning by using Whatsapp, zoom, and Quizziz applications.

This research investigates the impact of school infrastructure quality and economic factors on the academic achievement of high school students in Central Java through a survey-based quantitative analysis. A diverse sample of 200 participants, including students, teachers, and parents/guardians, provided insights into demographic characteristics, perceptions of school infrastructure, economic conditions, and academic performance. Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) was employed to analyze the data. Results indicate positive perceptions of classrooms and laboratories, moderate economic conditions, and varied academic achievements within the sample. The measurement model confirmed the validity and reliability of constructs, while the structural model revealed significant positive relationships between school infrastructure quality, economic factors, and academic achievement. The findings have implications for educational policies, emphasizing the importance of targeted interventions to enhance the overall educational experience in East Java.

Penggunaan teknologi digital dalam mendukung aktivitas akademik semakin penting, terutama dalam hal manajemen referensi dan penyusunan daftar pustaka. Namun, literasi digital yang rendah di beberapa kalangan menjadi hambatan dalam adopsi teknologi baru. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta di Sulawesi Utara dalam memanfaatkan aplikasi Mendeley untuk manajemen referensi dan penyusunan daftar pustaka. Pelatihan ini dilakukan secara daring melalui aplikasi Zoom pada 26 November 2024 dengan metode partisipatif yang mencakup penyampaian materi, demonstrasi, praktik langsung, dan evaluasi. Sebanyak 32 peserta dari berbagai latar belakang mengikuti kegiatan ini. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman peserta mengenai penggunaan Mendeley, dengan 90% peserta merasa terbantu dalam mengelola referensi dan menyusun daftar pustaka secara otomatis. Kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif dalam mendukung kualitas penulisan ilmiah, terutama di kalangan mahasiswa, dosen, dan peneliti. Kesimpulan menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini efektif dalam menjawab kebutuhan literasi digital peserta, serta mendorong penggunaan teknologi dalam aktivitas akademik. Pentingnya kegiatan ini terletak pada upaya meningkatkan efisiensi dan akurasi dalam manajemen referensi, yang berkontribusi pada profesionalisme dalam penulisan ilmiah.
