Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to describe students' skills in writing, especially developing a narrative essay based on the television show "Jika Aku Menjadi" Trans TV. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Engineering research is done by providing a narrative writing assignment based on the television show "If I Become" Trans TV to the students. The instruments used are fabricated narrative instructions and restrictions. Object of this study was written by students who judged from the plot, character, setting, organization of content, spelling and diction. The data source of this study is the high school students of class X 2 Budi Murni Field of the total of 42 students of class X as many as 320 people. The results of this study demonstrate that their ability to develop the wreath is still pretty. In terms of percentage, the students get very good value on a category 4 people or 9.5%, the category of either 2 or 4%, category just 18 people or 43%, less than 12 people or categories of 28.5% and the remaining 6 or 14.3% is very less. The mean score obtained by them was 55.5 and rounded to 55. Thus the ability meulis narrative essay based on the television show "If I Become" Trans TV by the students of class X SMA Budi Murni 2 Medan quite enough. Keywords: ability, write, teaching media ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan siswa dalam menulis, terutama mengembangkan esai narasi berdasarkan acara televisi. "Jika Saya Menjadi" Trans TV. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah instruksi naratif. Objek penelitian ini ditulis oleh siswa yang dinilai dari plot, karakter, pengaturan, pengorganisasian konten, ejaan dan diksi. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah siswa SMA kelas X 2 Lapangan Budi Murni dari total 42 siswa kelas X sebanyak 320 orang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan mereka untuk mengembangkan karangan bunga masih bagus. Dalam hal persentase, siswa mendapatkan nilai yang sangat baik pada kategori 4 orang atau 9,5%, kategori 2 atau 4%, kategori hanya 18 orang atau 43%, kurang dari 12 orang atau kategori 28,5% dan sisanya 6 atau 14,3% sangat kurang. Nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh oleh siswa adalah 55,5 dan dibulatkan menjadi 55. Dengan demikian kemampuan menulis esai narasi berdasarkan acara televisi "Jika Aku Menjadi" Trans TV oleh siswa kelas X SMA Budi Murni 2 Medan masuk dalam kategori cukup. Abstract

The aimed of this research is to describe the code writing & the function in the community of Mobile Legend Bang Bang players and the specific terms which are used of that community, especially found at Pasar Baru, Sibuntuon Parpea Villages Lintongnihuta subdistrict. An ethno sociopragmatic approach was used to analyze the data related to code writing, the function of code writing & special terms which users of the community Mobile Legend Player in the Subdistrict mentioned. Collecting the data Conducted with the technique of observation & interview. The result of the research found about 43 special terms that used of Batak Toba Language Speaker. The phenomenon of that code writing happened about the factor of limitation by using code of the speaker Which is as the users of BBT so that if it is used Batak Toba Language because less of efficient. This Phenomenon Finally affected their Communication in the real life. So, the function of code writing in this phenomenon is to optimize and to affect the use of Vocabularies in the Batak Toba Language.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to carry out the revitalization of Mangharoani as the local wisdom of the neglected Toba Batak. In addition, there are not many studies that carry out Mangharoani revitalization activities. Revitalization activities are realized as a form of preserving the local wisdom culture of the Toba Batak community. This research was conducted in Lintong Nihuta Village, Humbang Hasundutan Regency. The implementation of this research starts from February to June 2021 and uses two observers. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research. Data analysis uses analyzing, describing, and summarizing various conditions, situations from various data collected in the form of interviews or observations about the problems studied that occur in the field, with qualitative data collection techniques commonly used, namely interviews, observations, focus group discussions (FGDs), and document studies. The results of this study, the people in Lintong Nihuta Village, Humbang Hasundutan Regency have resumed Mangharoani activities in their respective families. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan kegiatan revitalisasi mangharoani sebagai kearifan lokal Batak Toba yang terabaikan. Selain itu belum banyak terdapat penelitian yang melakukan kegiatan revitalisasi mangharoani. Kegiatan revitalisasi diwujudkan sebagai bentuk pelestarian budaya kearifan lokal masyarakat Batak Toba. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Pasar Baru, Kec. Lintong Nihuta Kabupaten Humbang Hasundutan. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini dimulai Februari sampai dengan Juni 2021 dan menggunakan dua orang pengamat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskripsi. Analisis data menggunakan teknik menganalisis, menggambarkan, dan meringkas berbagai kondisi, situasi dari berbagai data yang dikumpulkan berupa hasil wawacara atau pengamatan mengenai masalah yang diteliti yang terjadi di lapangan. Teknik pengumpulan data kualitatif yang umum digunakan yaitu wawancara, observasi, focus group discussion (FGD), dan studi dokumen. Hasil dari pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat di Desa Pasar Baru, Kec. Lintong Nihuta, Kabupaten Humbang Hasundutan sudah melakukan kembali kegiatan Mangharoani di keluarga masing-masing.

Abstract

The research objective was to determine the significant difference between student science learning outcomes taught through the Snowball Throwing model and students taught through conventional learning in class V SD Plus Tigabalata. The study population was all students in grade V SD Plus Tigabalata Jorlang Hataran totaling 65 students. Science learning outcomes data were collected using an instrument in the form of a regular multiple-choice test. The t-test is this data. The results showed that there was a significant difference between students who took the Snowball Throwing model learning and students who took conventional learning (that = 2,562> t table = 2,000) with DB = 82 (Σn-2 = 84-2 = 82) and the level of significance 5%. So it can be concluded that the Snowball Throwing model has a significant effect on the learning outcomes of SD Plus class V IPA students in Tigabalata, Jorlang Hataran District.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menggiatkan kembali tradisi lisan yaitu marhori hori dinding ini karena sudah semakin punah dilakukan, terlebih di zaman milenial ini agar generasi muda yang akan datang dapat melestarikan budaya serta tradisi lisan ini, terkhusus untuk daerah perkotaan. Tradisi Manghori-hori dinding tiap tahunnya akan menurun, diperlukan pendekatan yang inovatif dan terus menerus, terkait dengan revitalisasi yang optimal sejak dini. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskripsi. Analisis data menggunakan menganalisis, menggambarkan, dan meringkas berbagai kondisi, situasi dari berbagai data yang dikumpulkan berupa hasil wawacara atau pengamatan mengenai masalah yang diteliti yang terjadi di lapangan, dengan tehnik pengumpulan data teknik pengumpulan data kualitatif yang umum digunakan, yaitu wawancara, observasi, focus group discussion (FGD), dan studi dokumen Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Upaya untuk menghidupkan kembali tersebut dilakukan melalui intervensi fisik dan non fisik. Proses Menghidupkan kembali suatu kawasan cagar budaya dengan memberikan kemungkinan masuknya fungsi baru harus dilakukan tanpa meninggalkan roh tempat (spirit of place). Jadi makna Manghori-hori dinding adalah tahap perkenalan keluarga mempelai pria dengan keluarga mempelai perempuan. Diharapkan melalui penelitian ini, pelestarian adat Manghori-hori dinding tetap terjaga dan banyak peneliti lainnya yang mau atau tertarik melakukan pengembangan dalam penelitian ini.agar dalam melestarikan kebudayaan daerah ini tidak terkikis oleh zaman yang semakin lama semakin pesat, sehingga budaya yang dilestarikan oleh leluhur kita tidak punah

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) tema mayor dan tema minor yang terdapat dalam novel “Kidung Rindu di Tapal Batas“ karya Aguk Irawan MN; (2) nilai pendidikan yang terdapat dalam novel “Kidung Rindu di Tapal Batas “karya Aguk Irawan MN. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif karena data penelitian dideskriptifkan melihat kenyataan sesungguhnya yaitu dalam bentuk tulisan dan diperoleh pembahasan secara objektif dan mendalam mengenai analisis tema dan nilai pendidikan pada novel “Kidung Rindu di Tapal Batas” Karya Aguk Irawan MN. Hasil Analisis Tema dan Nilai Pendidikan Pada Novel “Kidung Rindu di Tapal Batas” Karya Aguk Irawan MN (1) dua jenis tema (tema mayor dan tema minor) (2) empat nilai pendidikan (nilai religius, nilai moral, nilai sosial, nilai budaya).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the example non example model in learning descriptive text writing skills for class VII students of UPT SMP Negeri 1 Air Putih, Batu Bara Regency. In this study using a quantitative method with the type of Pre-Experimental Design using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sampling used in this research is purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique used is a descriptive text writing test. The results of the research on writing descriptive text before using the example non example model reached an average value of 50.78 in the less category. Meanwhile, the results of the study of writing descriptive text after using the example non example model reached an average value of 72.5 in the good category. Based on the results of the pre-test and post-test, there is an effect on the results of writing descriptive text with tcount 5.19. At a significant level of 0.05 (95% confidence level) with df = 31 obtained ttable = 1.69; significant at p < 0.05. Thus H0 is rejected. With the rejection of H0 then Ha is accepted, meaning that there is a significant influence on the writing skills of the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Air Putih, Batu Bara Regency using the non-example model.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Outdoor Learning model on learning to write short stories by class IX students of SMP Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar. This study uses a quantitative experimental method with a pre-experimental type using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study were students of class IX-10, totaling 29 students. The sampling used in this research is purposive sampling. The data collection technique used is the short story writing test technique for students' short story writing activities. The results of the research on writing short stories before using the outdoor learning model reached an average value of 58.93 in the sufficient category. Meanwhile, the results of the research on writing short stories after using the outdoor learning model reached an average value of 78.37 in the good category. Based on the results of the pretest and posttest, there are differences in the results of writing short stories with a tcount of 13.04 with a significant level of 5% = 0.05 at db = 28, a ttable of 1.701 is obtained. Thus, tcount = 13.04 < 1.701, so it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H? is accepted, meaning that there is an effect of using the outdoor learning model on the ability to write short stories for class IX students of SMP Negeri 2 Pematangsiantar.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the ability to write a text report on the results of observations in class VII students at SMP Negeri 2 Tapian Dolok before using the Treffinger learning model, (2) the ability to write a text report on the results of observations in class VII students at SMP Negeri 2 Tapian Dolok. after using the Treffinger model and, (3) to find out whether there is an effect using the Treffinger learning model in writing a report text on the results of observations of class VII students at SMP Negeri 2 Tapian Dolok. This research uses quantitative research using experimental methods, while the method used in this research is Pre-Experimental Design (non-design). According to Sugiyono (2019:112) that the results of Pre-Experimental research are independent variables. This happens, because there is no control variable, and the sample is not chosen at random. This study also uses the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The results of this study include: (1) The results of the initial test ability (pre-test) in the skills of writing report texts on the observations of class VII-4 students of SMP Negeri 2 Tapian Dolok before the treffinger learning model is applied, the average value is 39.66 with a total 1.190 From the results (pre-test) obtained by students that the ability to write text reports on observations has not reached the KKM target (Minimum Completeness Criteria) which is 70. (2) The results of the final test (post-test) ability in writing report text skills on class observations VII-4 SMP Negeri 2 Tapian Dolok after applying the treffinger learning model, the average score was 76.96 with a total score of 2.309. From the results (post-test) obtained by students in writing the text of the report on the observation results, they have reached the KKM target (Minimum Completeness Criteria) which is 70. (3) The analysis has been carried out and has been tested statistically that tcount is greater than ttable (9,34>1.699) then causes H0 to be rejected and Ha to be accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an effect of the treffinger learning model on the ability to write text reports on observations in class VII-4 of SMP Negeri 2 Tapian Dolok.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the ability of students to write news texts before using the group discussion method in class VIII of SMP Negeri 7 Pematangsiantar, (2) the ability of students to write news texts after using the group discussion method in class VIII of SMP Negeri 7 Pematangsiantar and, ( 3) The effect of the group discussion method on the ability to write news texts by class VIII students of SMP Negeri 7 Pematangsiantar. This type of research includes pre-experimental research with one group pre-test post-tst design research (Sugiyono, 2019:74), the reason the researcher chooses Pre-experimental research is because this study aims to determine the effect of using group discussion methods in learning to write news texts by VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 7 Pematangsiantar. The results of this study are: (1) the results of the initial test ability (pre-test) in the skills of writing news texts for class VIII-6 SMP Negeri 7 students before the group discussion method is applied, the average score is 66.40. While the results of the final text ability (post-test) after the group discussion method was applied, the average value was 73.12. (2) The results of the score on the assessment aspect of writing news texts before applying the group discussion method obtained the highest score in the vocabulary assessment aspect which amounted to 760 with an average of 23.75 while the lowest assessment aspect was found in the organizational assessment aspect, which amounted to 320 with an average 10. After applying the group discussion method whose value increased, the highest assessment aspect of writing news texts was found in the content aspect, which amounted to 720 with an average of 22.5, while the lowest assessment aspect was found in the mechanical aspect, which amounted to 310 with an average of 9.68. (3) The analysis has been carried out and has been tested statistically. That th is greater than tt (6.72>1.78) causes H0 to be rejected and Ha to be accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an effect of group discussion method on news text writing skills by students of class VIII-6 SMP Negeri 7 Pematangsiantar.
