Abstract

The performance of company employees are a way to achieve its goals.Pertaining to performance, motivation and discipline work can be directly to degrade its performance or improve the performance of a clerk.Employees with motivation that are tall and discipline good working will make the employee performance to become more optimal so that it can bring the impact on the performance of employees as a whole.However, contrarily if motivation bad and discipline work less well, also the performance of employees to become not optimum and bring negative effects for the company.In this research, that was performed in PT. PLN (Persero) Distribusi Daerah Jawa Tengah dan D.I.Yogyakarta Area Semarang can be known that the performance of employees still not optimal.It is visible from the attainment of performance that is not based on the target.Purpose in this research is to find out the influence of motivation and discipline work against the employee performance in PT. PLN (Persero) Distribusi Daerah Jawa Tengah dan D.I.Yogyakarta Area SemarangPT. PLN (Persero) Distribusi Daerah Jawa Tengah dan D.I.Yogyakarta Area Semarang can be known that the performance of employees still not optimal.It is visible from the attainment of performance that is not based on the target. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of motivation and discipline work against the performance of employees at PT. PLN (Persero) Distribusi Daerah Jawa Tengah dan D.I.Yogyakarta Area Semarang. The research method used is quantitative research. Data obtained in this study through interviews using koesioner. Analysis of the data used is the coefficient of correlation coefficients of Kendall and concordance of the Kendall. From theresults of research using the SPSS program it can be known that there is a very weak influence motivation (X 1) against the performance of employees (Y) witha coefficient of correlation of kendall tau of 0.040 (under 0.5) with probability  figures 0.709 (greater than 0.05); There is a very weak influence on the discipline of work (X 2) against the performance of employees (Y) with a coefficient of correlation of kendall tau of 0.052 (under 0.5) with probability figures 0.633 (greater than 0.05); For the determination coefficient (R2) indicated on the Kendall Ws Coefficient of 0.491.

Abstract

Study about performance the committee of the occupational safety and health (P2K3) effected by human resources that are within the occupational safety and health (K3)  have a double job, any members who are in majority of P2K3 is not an expert in the field of K3. Lack of motivation of employees, and lack of motivation which is given by leader to the employee. This research was conducted using qualitative research methods are purely descriptive. Focus of research location on the PT. PLN (Persero) APJ Kudus. Selection of informants is done using a purposive sampling. To test the quality of the data used the technique of triangulation. Phenomena that affect organizational performance is measured through the dimensions of organizational performance according to Sudarmanto (2009: 13) by looking at the dimensions of productivity, quality, timeliness, resources management, and cost. As for looking at factors that affect organizational performance using the theory of Keith Davis of Mangkunegara (2006: 13) as seen from the factor of ability and motivation factors.  Performance of the committee of occupational safety and health (P2K3) has not been optimal which is viewed of the dimensions of productivity, the quality, punctuality, the management of resources, and charges.The factors that influences the performance of an organization that is the lack of the ability of human resources in the field of occupational safety and health, and lack of motivation given by leader.  Recommendations given that is, ( 1 ) held socialization about the importance of  K3 in a company so employees aprovident about the importance of occupational safety and health; ( 2 ) providing education and training to an employee about occupational safety and health ; ( 3 ) the committee of occupational safety and health (P2K3) supposed to be filled by people who are completely proficient in the occupational safety and health ; and ( 4 ) the maintenance and observation and equipment to work safety and health.

Abstract

Various problems such as lack of competent human resources areas and a lack of community participation in the management of PHC Padangsari follow Semarang into the background of this research. This study aims to determine how the analysis of the health center management functions Padangsari in Semarang and identify factors driving and inhibiting factors in the health center management functions Padangsari in Semarang. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The subjects in this study consists of three (3) key informants.The results showed that the health center management functions Padangsari been going well, but in the Human Resources sector is still lacking to fill the existing field. Most of these employees are still concurrently or have two different responsibilities, this indicates the duties and functions of employees to be heavy in the implementation cause less focus employees in performing their obligations to be not optimalize results. Then, community participation is still low the limiting factor in the management of health centers Padangsari. Elements of such participation is absolutely necessary for the success of the programs implemented by PHC ( Public Health Center ) Padangsari. The community is only as passive participators in some programs implemented in the management of health centers Padangsari which is the National Health Development Program as an attitude or lifestyle clean environment.Based on these conclusions, the researchers recommend to Padangsari health centers to provide training - training to employees in accordance with the competencies required in the implementation of management functions. PHC Padangsari need to increase the active participation of the community to implement the National Health Development Program as an attitude or a healthy lifestyle environment.

Abstract

The tourism sector is currently one of the leading sectors for the Government of the Republic of Indonesia in the country's foreign exchange earning. To increase the number of tourist visits to Indonesia, especially to the Central Java this Program as part of an effort to increase the number of tourist visits to the Provinces of Central Java and also improve the welfare of society through the development and management of the tourism sector. Yet at a visit to taman margasatwa showed the need for improvement the management of Taman Margasatwa Mangkang. The aim of this research is described the conduct of a management tourist attractions Taman Margasatwatwa Mangkang to advance of tourism potential that exists in the city of semarang and described constraints that have been is in the management of Taman Margasatwa Mangkang the city of Semarang. The kind of research using qualitative descriptive approach with interviews and observation. The number of subjects research is 4 respondent This research result showed the management Taman Margasatwa Mangkang not optimal indicated by the road that there is damage, condition enclosure poorly groomed, sdm who have not sufficient, and there has been authorized LK. Structure that has been set at uptd taman margasatwa city semarang not optimal due to the position in this structure that is occupied by employee inappropriate with skills. Condition about current visit is good enough because increase every year and only decline in 2010. Facilities and infrastructure in Taman Margasatwa Mangkang is quite feasible, but its treatment that are lacking. Capability of productivity employees UPTD Taman Margasatwa still less than optimal,. Because of employees less diligent in carrying out their duties. Whose leadership doing in Taman Margasatwa is usually made of staff as a partner of is not merely subordinate. In accomplishment of an objective is found in tourism, market competition lack of promotion in taman margasatwa and infrastructure that has not been able to closely follow the developments.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the performance of the National Land Agency Of Central Java Province and to know the corelations of discpline and leadership to employee performance in an effort to improve organizatinal in National Land Agency Of Central Java Province. Locus were used in this research is National Land Agency Of Central Java Province. This research uses quanitative research methods are purely eexplanation. The respondents in this study consists of 44 (fourty four) employees National Land Agency Of Central Java Province.Based on the research results show that the performance of the National Land Agency Of Central Java Province can be categorized good. Either even though there is still some indicators assessed less optimally. Aspects that affect optimally performance of National Land Agency Of Central Java Province which aspects of discipline and leadership aspects.Conclusions in this study was the overall performance of the National Land Agency Of Central Java Province was good, and the aspect of the discipline and leadership indeed affect National Land Agency Of Central Java Province.Based on the conclusions, researchers recommended National Land Agency Of Central Java Province to fix indicators is still less than optimalso that more optimal performance can be achieved.

Abstract

Less than optimal performance of employees at Central Agency of Statistics in Batang has prompted the authors to conduct the study, entitled "Relationship Work Ability and Motivation With Employee Performance at Central Agency of Statistics in Batang ". The main problem in this study is less optimal level of work ability and motivation. This study aimed to determine the relationship and determination of each independent variable with the ability to work and motivation of employees in the performance of the Central Agency of Statistics in Batang.This type of research is explanatory research. The data were collected by distributing questionnaires to the respondents and conduct interviews. This study used a sample of 32 respondents to the poll saturated sample technique. Analysis of the data in this study using quantitative methods. Analysis tool used in this research is the analysis of Rank Correlation Coefficient Kendall, Kendall concordance coefficient, and the coefficient of determination by using SPSS version 16.0.The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant relationship between the independent variable and motivation with the ability to work performance of employees in BPS, Batang. The magnitude of the relationship of each variable is as follows: the ability to work (0.453) and motivation (0.439). Relations between the two independent variables together to employee performance 0.763 with the influence of 58.21%.

Abstract

Salah satu fungsi pemerintah adalah sebagai pemberi pelayanan. Badan Lingkungan Hidup Provinsi Jawa Tengah sebagai instansi yang menyelenggarakan pelayanan publik dalam lingkup pelestarian lingkungan hidup. perlu meningkatkan kinerja pegawai dan harus mengutamakan kepentingan publik. Oleh karena itu, untuk menunjang kinerja yang optimal maka instansi perlu meningkatkan motivasi dan disiplin kerja pegawai agar visi dan misi organisasi berhasil diwujudkan.Tipe penelitian yang digunakan adalah tipe penelitian asosiatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel sebanyak 68 responden dengan pemilihan teknik Simple Random Sampling. Analisis data menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan rumus Koefisien Korelasi Rank Kendall dan rumus Koefisien Konkordansi Kendall.Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan menggunakan uji korelasi antara variabel Motivasi (X1) dengan variabel Kinerja Pegawai (Y) menunjukkan korelasi yang kuat yaitu dengan nilai sebesar 0,660, disimpulkan bahwa semakin motivasi ditingkatkan maka kinerja akan semakin meningkat, kemudian uji korelasi antara variabel Disiplin Kerja (X2) dengan variabel Kinerja Pegawai (Y) terdapat korelasi yang kuat yaitu dengan nilai sebesar 0,552 yang artinya semakin disiplin ditingkatkan maka kinerja akan semakin meningkat pula. Dengan demikian hipotesisnya diterima, bahwa variabel bebas berpengaruh secara bersamaan terhadap variabel terikat.

Abstract

The implementation of PNPM-MP is still have lots of weakness, it is proven that the number of poor families target years 2009-2011 and 2011-2013 Kemijen Village Semarang are still same. Based on the observation by researcher, PNPM-MP resistance due to weak human resources; institutional coordination; differences in perceptions and lack of understanding of the guidelines. Based on the description of the background of the problem, can be taken 3 problem, they are: How the role of actors in policy formulation for PNPM-MP on Kemijen Village Semarang City?; What are the obstacles in the implementation of PNPM-MP? And how handling the weakness in the implementation of PNPM-MP? According to James Anderson Charles Lindblom and James P. Lester and Joseph Stewart, Jr. actors or actors participate in policy formation process can be divided into two groups, namely the cast and the cast as well as official and unofficial. Which belongs to the actor and is the official government agency (bureaucracy), the president (executive), legislative and judicial. While belonging to the unofficial role include interest groups, political parties and individual citizens. This research uses the theory of James E. Anderson, the policy is as the behavior of a number of actors (officials, groups, government agencies) or a set of actors in a particular policy area. Talk of the policy cannot get out of the relationship between interest groups, both at the government and society at large. According to Walter J.M. Kickert, Erik-Hans Klijn and Joop F.M. Koppenjan, actors cannot be separated from each other and have connection with each other. According to Sri Suwitri, strong policy networks are the five things they are the interests of network members, membership, interdependence, isolation from other networks, and the distribution of resources among the members. Network integration of high membership, membership has stability, interdependence network members, and isolation from other networks. The larger the policy network will strengthen the pluralistic society. This study uses qualitative research and data collection based on interviews with key informants and direct observation conducted by researchers at Kemijen Village Semarang City.Based on theory, the actor cannot move on their own without collaboration of other actors, so that is needed a network diagram to known the role of each actor. In the implementation of PNPM-MP should refer to the operational guidelines PNPM-MP and develop accessibility advisory assistance from the sub-district or districts. Then, it is necessary establishes public complaints unit to accommodate all the complaints that can be sought alternative solutions. In finding such alternative PNPM-MP need to use incremental models so that any problems that arise can be done rectification and correction to create anew policy. Suggestions in this study are it need a similar view from actors to improve the welfare ofsociety and transparency in the implementation of PNPM-MP.

Abstract

Community demands for public services in the health sector is still considered low into the background of this research Batang Regency’s Public Hospital. Result of observations and interviews with several informants indicate that this hospital still has a low service quality and customer satisfaction have not been optimally viewed from the dimensions of service quality. Quality improvement and quality of these services should be started from a strong commitment and high professionalism that existing systems can run optimally so as to achieve customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Quality of public service is very important, because the role is related to the public interest, even the interests of the people as a whole. Based on preliminary survey in Board of Archives and Library of Central Java Province, there are indications of poor quality of service. It is apparent from services performed by an employee while on duty serving the user. Users have to wait long enough to get the desired information because many officers are not in place or out official duties. The purpose of this study was to describe the quality of service archives on the Board of Archives and Library of Central Java Province.This research is descriptive quantitative study, using the five dimensions of service quality that is direct evidence (tangible), reliability (reliability), responsiveness officer (Responsiveness), employee attitudes (courtesy) and convenience (acces). The samples in this study are archival service users the Board of Archives and Library of Central Java Province, they are students, civil servants and private sector employees that amounted to 100 people taken proportional random sampling. Collecting data by spreading questionnaires to a sample containing closed questions with four answers choice. Then the research data was processed by descriptive analysis in the form of frequency distribution tables.The results showed that service quality of the Board of Archive and Library of Central Java province are included in the good category. With details that direct evidence aspect (tangible) are included in the good category, reliability aspect are included in the good category, responsiveness officer aspect are included in the good category, employee attitudes aspect (courtesy) are included in the good category and convenience aspect (acces) are included in the good category.
