Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between discipline and employee capabilities with the performance of employees in Central Java Disaster Management Agency. The population of as many as 59 employees to as many as 32 samples taken employees.Hypothesis testing using the formula Kendall's tau-b to determine the relationship between each independent variable with the dependent variable, and the analysis of the Kendall concordance (W) to determine the relationship of the independent variables together on the dependent variable.Analysis of the relationship between two (2) independent variable discipline (X1) and the ability of employees (X2) with employee performance (Y), either alone or taken together show the following:1. Relations discipline with the employee's performance and significant positive correlation with the value of 0.595, which means that the relationship is positive, medium, whereas the significance level of the coefficient of 0.001, which means its value is below 0.05 (5%), which means significant.2. Employee relations skills with the performance of employees with a positive and significant correlation value of 0.622, which means that the relationship is positive, strong, whereas the significance level of the coefficient of 0.001, which means its value is below 0.05 (5%), which means significant.3. A positive relationship together - collaboration between discipline variable (X1) and the ability of employees (X2) with employee performance variable (Y) with the correlation value of 0.253, which means that the relationship is positive but weak, whereas the significance level of the coefficient of 0.000, which means well below 0.05 (5%), which means significant.

Abstract

Analyzing the Implementation of Bantuan Operasional Sekolah or School Operational Fund and the Public’s Interests in Free Basic Education. The Government of the Republic of Indonesia has recently issued an educational policy, the so-called Bantuan Operasional Sekolah known as BOS or School Operational Fund. This article presents the results of a descriptive study on the implementation of the School Operational Fund in the regency of Gunung Mas, Central Java. The data were obtained through survey on the spot, document analysis, and interviews. The results show that School Operational Fund has increased the interest of the public to send their children to primary schools. This has been indicated by the results of the interviews with a number of school principals and students’ parents (guardians) in the area. However, the interest to send children to primary schools was more significant than that to junior high schools.

Abstract

Every organization wants its employees to perform optimally. Theperformance results achieved are a person in carrying out the tasks assigned toemployees based on skills, experience, determination and time. One important aspectin realizing the success of employee performance is its ability of government officialswho work professionally. In addition to increased job satisfaction and workdiscipline. The study aims were to determine the relationship of work ability, jobsatisfaction and work discipline to the performance of district employees KedungwuniPekalongan district.This study uses a design or explanatory research design. The population inthis study were all employees of the District Kedungwuni Pekalongan district,amounting to 55 people. the unit of analysis in the form of an employee. Sampleswere taken by census sampling technique, in which all employees were targetedsampling. Techniques of data analysis using the Kendall rank correlation andKendall rank correlation W.Research findings indicate that there is a significant relationship between theability to work with employee performance, there is a significant relationshipbetween job satisfaction with the performance of employees, there is a significantrelationship between the discipline of working with employee performance, there is asignificant relationship between work ability, job satisfaction and disciplineperformance of work by employees in the District Kedungwuni Pekalongan district.Advice can be given to improve the performance of employees, by making theprocedures or standards of work that can be understood and implemented by allemployees. In addition to increasing the available facilities office supplies. Toimprove labor discipline by priventif approach.

Abstract

Peningkatan kualitas pelayanan tidak hanya ditempuh melalui keputusan – keputusan, tetapi melalui peningkatan kemampuan aparat dalam memberikan berbagai materi mengenai manajemen pelayanan melalui diklat – diklat struktural pada berbagai tingkatan. Penilaian kinerja pelayanan public tidak cukup hanya dilakukan dengan menggunakan indikator – indikator yang melekat pada pengguna jasa seperti kepuasan para pengguna jasa seperti kepuasan para pengguna jasa.Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kualitas pelayanan pembuatan E-KTP yang diberikan oleh Pemerintah Kecamatan Pedurungan Kota Semarang yang diukur melalui beberapa indikator kualitas pelayanan, yaitu: jaminan, bukti langsung, empati, daya tanggap, kehandalan, dan komunikasi. Selain itu penelitian ini juga dilakukan untuk mengetahui faktor kendala dari kualitas pelayanan yang dapat dilihat dari sarana dan prasarana, prosedur pelayanan, dan kemampuan pegawai. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan diskriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data yang diperoleh dari observasi dan wawancara.Hasil penilitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kualitas pelayanan pembuatan E-KTP di Kecamatan Pedurungan masih belum maksimal yang dapat dilihat dari jaminan penyelesaian yang belum pasti, sarana dan prasarana yang kurang memadai, kurangnya perhatian dan tanggapan yang baik dari pegawai, daya tanggap pegawai yang kurang serta kurangnya informasi yang diberikan kepada masyarakat mengenai prosedur pelayanan. Peneliti menyarankan agar Pemerintah Kecamatan Pedurungan meningkatkan kinerja pegawai dengan melakukan pelatihan terhadap pegawai, menambah sarana dan prasarana dan juga memperjelas informasi mengenai prosedur pelayanan.

Abstract

Use of information technology is very important in government institutions, such as the electronic government, where the government attempted to improve service to the community in a more convenient, fast, effective and efficient. Development of e-government in Kudus district that has not run up pushing me to do this research. The research problem is : How does the development of e-government in Kudus district? and what constraints the development of e-government in Kudus district?.The purpose of this study to describe and analyze how the development of e-government and to describe the obstacles faced by the development of e-government in the District of Kudus. To answer the problem and the research objectives using successful elements of e-government development in the Harvard JFK School of Government, namely : support, capacity, and value. It also uses elements of the development of e-government according to Moon in Book Information Management System consists of a willingness and local culture. This study uses descriptive qualitative sample snowballing technique so that it can be explained the extent to which the development of e-government in the District of Kudus. There are two sources of data were used, namely primary and secondary data. This study using in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation as well as triangulation associated with the development of electronic government in Kudus district in collecting the data.The results showed that the implementation of e-government in the District of Kudus has not been able to run optimally because there are issues that affect development, as there is no support in the implementation of e-government in the absence of the political will of the government's full and socialization. Capacity is very limited financial resources, human resources and technology infrastructure is still inadequate . The absence of public willingness to use and avail the facility of e-government as well as the cultural/local culture Kudus Regency society who prefer the manual way instead of using information technologies in a variety of jobs.

Abstract

The use of information and communication technologies very important in the globalization area. Based on the presidential intruction No. 3 of 2003 on local governments to take advantage of information technology white the avilable resources with in thegovernmental activities, including the district of jepara. The use of IT will give birth to an electronic-based system of government (e-Government). Thesuccessful implementation of e-Government is very influentialon the efficiency, effectiveness, seen from the successful elements of the Harvard JFK School of Government are Support, Capacity and Value.This research aims to determine the implementation of e-Government of Jepara and determie the factors that drive and inhibit. Attempt to answer the problems and research objective successfully done white parliaments of Harvard JFK School of Government. Methodology used in this research is qualitative diskripsif.Successful of implementation of the elements of e-Government in Jepara, are; website creation www.jeparakab.go.id, the increasing of infrastructure development the private sectors and do learning improvement one-Government. The success rate ofimplementation of e-Government in Jepara regencyin on their level of maturation.In the development of e-Government it is necessary to support program of e- Government, the need for cooperation on increase the budget, the need for socialization of the exstence of e-Government directly from the government and the use of information tecnology.
