Abstract

Poverty is a problem in developing countries. Poverty alleviation requires comprehensive and integrated handling, because this problem is multysectoral and multidimensional. This study aimed to analyze the effect of government education, health, and infrastructure expenditures on poverty in Central Java Province, Indonesia. The data in this study was the pooling data from 35 districts/cities in Central Java Province from 2018 to 2020. The data analysis method in this study is multiple regression analysis with panel data. The results of the analysis show that the regression coefficient for the variable government spending on education was negative. Health expenditure has a negative effect on poverty levels. Public work expenditure has a negative effect on poverty levels in Central Java Province, Indonesia. This policy implies that the role of local governments is very large in reducing poverty in Central Java, so a larger budget is needed to reduce poverty in Province of Central Java.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership and work environment on job satisfaction among Generation Z employees in Kendal Regency, with work motivation as a mediating variable. A quantitative approach was employed using Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis with SmartPLS 4.0. The study involved 160 respondents who are Generation Z employees in Kendal Regency. The results indicate that both transformational leadership and work environment have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Furthermore, work motivation is found to mediate the relationship between transformational leadership and job satisfaction, as well as between work environment and job satisfaction. These findings highlight the important role of work motivation as a mediating mechanism in enhancing employee job satisfaction. Overall, this study suggests that improving leadership quality and creating a supportive work environment can enhance employee motivation, which in turn increases job satisfaction among Generation Z employees.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan faktor transparansi terhadap pengelolaan keuangan belanja hibah di Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah eksplanatoris. Populasi penelitian ini adalah pengelola dana hibah pada OPD Provinsi Jawa Tengah yang melaksanakan belanja Hibah. Jumlah sampel masing-masing OPD 3 (tiga) responden sehingga jumlah responden 90. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer hasil isian kuesioner. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner yang diantar dan diambil sendiri oleh peneliti maupun tanya jawab secara langsung dengan beberapa responden pengelola Dana Hibah. Kuesioner digunakan untuk memperoleh data transparansi. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa Nilai t hitung sebesar 0,430 dengan signifikansi sebesar 0,668 > 0,05. Dengan demikian, terbukti secara statistic bahwa transparansi tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap manajemen belanja hibah.
