Abstract

The explicit objective of this study is to analyze the factors influencing the supply side of Green Bonds in ASEAN countries. This research aims to examine how the characteristics of green bonds and the characteristics of issuing companies affect the amount of green bonds issued in ASEAN countries, particularly in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines during the period from 2018 to 2021. This study employs a quantitative research design with a linear regression analysis approach using the Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) method. This design was chosen to identify and measure the relationship between the independent variables (green bond characteristics and issuer company characteristics) and the dependent variable (the amount of green bonds issued). The independent variables in this study are Green Bond Characteristics, proxied by coupon rates and risk premiums. Additionally, the study includes the variable Issuer Company Characteristics, proxied by the debt ratio of the issuing company. The dependent variable in this study is the amount of green bonds issued. This research utilizes panel data that encompasses green bonds issued in four ASEAN countries (Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines) from 2018-2021. This panel data allows for analysis that accounts for variability over time and across different companies or countries. The findings of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between the characteristics of green bonds and the characteristics of issuing companies with the amount of green bonds issued in ASEAN countries. Specifically, it was found that green bond characteristics such as coupon rates and risk premiums significantly impact the amount of green bonds issued. Higher coupon rates and higher risk premiums tend to reduce the amount of green bonds issued. Additionally, the characteristics of the issuing companies, particularly the debt ratio, were also found to have a significant influence on the amount of green bonds issued. Companies with higher debt ratios tend to issue more green bonds. Overall, this study identifies key factors influencing the supply of green bonds in ASEAN and provides insights that can support the development of policies and strategies to strengthen the green bond market in the region

The training was conducted in collaboration with the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Trisakti, through a community service program. The research method involved counseling, experience sharing, and interactive discussions. The results showed an increased awareness and understanding among MSME entrepreneurs regarding differentiation, leadership, and responsiveness. Participants demonstrated improved knowledge and a higher likelihood of implementing competitive advantage strategies in their businesses. This program highlights the importance of continuous education and mentoring to ensure the long-term success of MSMEs.

Abstract

The Community Service Program (PkM) by Trisakti University, titled "Insurance Literacy as an Educational Tool to Raise Insurance Awareness," took place in Kadumanggu Village, Babakan Madang, Bogor. The initiative aimed to enhance public understanding of insurance as a means of managing financial risks. Activities involved 28 participants from diverse backgrounds and included interactive presentations, discussions, and case-based simulations. Program effectiveness was measured through pre- and post-training assessments, analyzed using the Kolmogorov–Smirnov test and paired samples t-test. Findings revealed a statistically significant improvement in insurance literacy (sig = 0.000 < 0.05), highlighting the program's effectiveness. Participants also showed more openness and confidence regarding insurance. Contributing factors included participant enthusiasm, facilitator competence, and relevant materials. However, challenges included limited facilities and participant diversity. Output included higher literacy scores, a training module, and a participant database for future research. The program recommends wider replication, industry collaboration, and digital platforms for broader outreach.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of board of directors’ busyness on the value of accounting information in manufacturing companies in the consumer goods sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. In recent years, the complexity of corporate governance has raised concerns about the effectiveness of oversight, particularly when directors hold multiple directorships. Although many studies have examined the relationship between board busyness and firm performance, research on its impact on accounting information value in emerging markets remains limited. This study addresses that gap by using a sample of 29 consumer goods companies from 2020 to 2024, selected through purposive sampling. The analysis method applied is panel data regression with a fixed effect model. The value of accounting information is proxied by stock price as a market indicator. The results indicate that busy board members significantly and positively influence the value of accounting information, alongside firm size and return on assets (ROA). Meanwhile, leverage shows a significant negative effect. These findings provide empirical contributions to the literature on corporate governance in emerging markets and offer practical insights for managers and investors to strengthen oversight effectiveness and financial information quality.

Abstract

This research investigate bank-specific factors and macroeconomic indicators affect the profitability of Indonesian banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2019–2023. Specifically, it evaluates the effects of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Asset Management, Bank Branches, Deposits, Non-Performing Loan (NPL), and Inflation on Return on Assets (ROA), identifying which variables significantly enhance or diminish bank profitability. A quantitative, causal-comparative research design is employed using panel data regression. The sample consists of 33 banks observed over five years (2019–2023), forming a balanced panel dataset. Bank-specific factors include CAR, Asset Management, Bank Branches, Deposits, and NPL, while Inflation represents the macroeconomic factor. The results reveal that CAR, Asset Management, Bank Branches, and NPL significantly affect bank profitability. Conversely, Deposits and Inflation have an insignificant relationship with ROA. Theoretically, these findings reinforce the relevance of resource-based and efficiency theories in explaining bank performance. Practically, they suggest that banks should prioritize capital strength, optimize asset utilization, and control credit risk, rather than relying solely on deposit growth, to sustain profitability. Regulators can also apply these insights to design supervisory policies that strengthen resilience and operational efficiency.

Abstract

Abstract

Social institutions play a vital role in supporting underprivileged children and teenagers by offering guidance and essential services. Recognizing that the youth represent the future of our nation and are integral to its progress, it's imperative to empower these institutions. The orphanage, traditionally seen as a financial burden, now faces the imperative of achieving socio-economic independence. In response to this challenge, the Kedaireka grant recipient team has initiated the Green-Techno Sociopreneur Livestock Magot project to bolster the economic autonomy of social institutions. As of October 20, 2022, maggot cultivation has commenced in three social institutions in DKI Jakarta. However, during the assessment phase, it was noted that the residents and administrators of one of the participating institutions, PSAA 3 Ceger, lacked the capability to conduct effective marketing activities. To address this issue, the Community Service team from the Faculty of Economics and Business at Trisakti University intends to organize outreach programs aimed at enhancing the marketing skills of the residents and administrators of PSAA 3 Ceger. The objective of this Community Service project is to impart knowledge and understanding of building consumer loyalty through digital technologies. Participants will receive guidance in content creation, setting up e-commerce platforms, crafting captions, and implementing other digital marketing strategies. A crucial aspect of this initiative is ongoing sustainability monitoring, which will be undertaken by the student team and further developed in a dedicated program.
