Abstract

Tujuan penelitian yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal pada mata kuliah fisika dasar konsep listrik dinamik setelah  diterapkanModel Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Two Stay Two Stray(TSTS). Dalam penelitian ini, Populasi dalam penelitian ini adal seluruh mahasiswa program studi pendidikan fisika tahun akademik 2013/2014 dengan jumlah 137 mahasiswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah  mahasiswa semester I program studi pendidikan fisika  kelas A yang berjumlah 36 mahasiswa.  Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif karena penelitian ini menggambarkan kemampuan  mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal pada mata kuliah fisika dasar dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif  metode Two Stay Two Straydengan desain penelitiannya eksperimen.Teknik yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data adalah teknik tes.Soal-soal tes yang digunakan pada saat penelitian adalah soal-soal dalam bentuk Essay sebanyak 10 Soal dengan skor maksimum 100.Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji statistik deskriptif.Dari hasil analisis diperoleh terdapat kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal mata kuliah fisika dasar I dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran koperatif tipe Two Stay Two Stray pada materi listrk dinamik. Mahasiswa mempunyai nilai di atas 83 sebanyak 6 mahasiswa atau 17% dengan kategori sangat baik,  diantara 73 s/d 82 sebanyak 4 mahasiswa atau 11% dengan kategori baik,  63 s/d 72 sebanyak 14 mahasiswa atau  39 % dengan kategori cukup baik, 53 s/d 62 sebanyak12 mahasiswa atau 33%  dengan kategori  kurang baik dan dibawah 53 sebanyak 0%. Kata kunci: TSTS, Fisika Dasar I

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of Using Gadgets (Smartphones) on Aspects of Children's Emotional and Social Development at SD Negeri 50 Ternate City. The method used in this study is quantitative survey with Cross Sectionalapproach. The population used in this study was students of SD Negeri 50 Ternate City aged 9-12 years with a total of 35 students while for the samples used in this study were students of SD Negeri 50 Ternate City aged 9-12 years with a total of 32 students. Sampling techniques used are Stratified Random Sampling. The variables in this study consisted of independent variables (X) the use of gadgets (smartphones), dependent variables (Y1) emotional development and dependent variables (Y2) social development. To obtain data in this study, questionnaires /questionnaires were distributed to students 9-12 years old. Questionnaires / questionnaires in this study using guttmannscale, with the form of positive and negative statements as many as 18 items. Then data analysis techniques using univariate and multivariate data analysis. Based on the results of the study using univariate data analysis obtained the use of gadgets (Smartphones) by 50% and emotional and social development by 56% while for the results of data analysis using manova test obtained significant values of 0.000 where 0.000 < 0.05 means H0 (reject) and H1 (receive). Thus, it can be concluded that the influence of the use of gadgets (smartphones) on aspects of emotional and social development of children.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the literacy level of the assessment of prospective teachers at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Unkhair. Respondents in this study were 3rd, 5th, and 7th semester students spread over 10 FKIP study programs, respondents were asked to fill out an assessment literacy test instrument which was developed based on the Assessment Literacy Standard. There are seven assessment literacy standards that can be used to measure the assessment literacy of prospective teachers, including: choosing assessment methods, developing assessment methods, managing and interpreting assessment results, using assessment results, developing assessment procedures, communicating assessment results and recognizing unethical assessment methods, illegal, and inappropriate. The instrument was given to respondents through the googleform application. The collected data was then analyzed with descriptive statistics. The results of this research analysis can reveal the level of literacy skills in the assessment of prospective teachers in 10 study programs as follows: Indonesian Language and Literature Education 73% high category, English Language Education 72% high category, Pancasila and Citizenship education 74% high category, Geography Education 75% category High category, Chemistry Education 77% high category, Physics Education 78% high category, Biology Education 78% high category, Early Childhood Education 76% high category and Elementary School Teacher Education 78% high category. Based on the results of the data analysis, it can be concluded that the average assessment literacy ability for prospective teachers in FKIP is in the high category, this happens because the content of the learning evaluation courses in each FKIP study program has given a good understanding to prospective teacher students as a provision for later becoming teachers who are professional in assessing and evaluating students in schools.

Abstract

Science learning in elementary schools is given to students to practice science process skills. Through science learning, students can produce a conceptual understanding of material through scientific work. This research aims to determine students' science process skills and cognitive learning outcomes through the Discovery Learning learning model in elementary schools. This research method is experimental research with a Posttest-Only Control Design. The results showed that the cognitive learning outcomes and skills of experimental class students were higher than those of control class students. Based on the results of the first hypothesis test, it was found that Fcount= 131.266 while Ftable= 3.44. This means FcountFtable and sig. = 0.05 so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that there are differences in cognitive learning outcomes between students who take part in learning using the discovery learning model and students who take part in conventional learning. The results of the second hypothesis test showed that the value of Fcount = 128.380 while Ftable = 3.44. This means FcountFtable and sig. = 0.05 so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that there are differences in science process skills between students who take part in learning using the discovery learning model and students who take part in conventional learning.

Abstract

Character education is very fundamental in education, because morals and character are the main targets in education. Thus, the formation of student character must exist at the joint of general education and Islamic education, or integrate the two through an Al-Qur'an approach based on the Pancasila Education Profile. Science learning which contains natural events should not be separated from the Al-Qur'an, because in the Al-Qur'an all natural phenomena are explained, so that they are interrelated and mutually support each other in developing students' knowledge which leads to strengthening character. The existence of an Islamic-based elementary school should have added value in the character aspect by emphasizing the Al-Qur'an approach. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the formation of student character in science lessons through the Al-Qur'an approach at SD Islmaiyah 2, Ternate City and SD Islamiyah 5, Ternate City. This research method is descriptive qualitative using Miles and Huberman's interactive analysis model. The results of this research show that there is no integration of science lessons with the Al-Qur'an to encourage the development of student character education at Islamiya 2.5 Elementary School, Ternate City. This can be seen from the learning tools and learning process. Although the learning process has been touched upon a little, it is not yet structured due to the teacher's limited ability to integrate it. In the future, training is needed to develop learning tools using the Al-Qur'an approach to prepare the generation for a golden Indonesia in 2045.
