Abstract

The current research is a part of improvement research on authenticcollaborative assessment model book for High School. Book's arrangement was based on the problem that implementation on authentic assessment in poetry writing class at introduction study in three student groups collaboratively has not been well accomplished. Poetry writing learning aims at objective authentic assessment and involves student collaboratively. Tested unlimited and extensive student groups, the book is able to be accepted and applied as assessment model which improves learning result.

Abstract

Abstract: This qualitative study is to compare the implementation of literacy culture at a referral school and a non-referral School Literacy Movement (SLM). The type of this research is multiple case study research and is located in two Senior High Schools in remote area, East Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. The results of the study show that the implementation of literacy culture in the schools differ in five categories, namely the literacy facilities and infrastructure, the variety and frequency of books borrowed from school libraries, the school activities related to literacy, the literacy community at schools, and the factors affecting students' interest in reading.Abstrak: Penelitian kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji perbandingan implementasi budaya literasi membaca antara sekolah rujukan dan nonrujukan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah. Jenis penelitian ini termasuk studi kasus ganda dan berlokasi di dua SMA yang terletak di daerah 3T, Lombok Timur, NTB. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan implementasi budaya literasi membaca di sekolah dibagi menjadi lima kategori, yaitu implementasi sarana dan prasarana literasi, ragam dan frekuensi peminjaman bahan bacaan di perpustakaan, kegiatan sekolah yang berkaitan dengan literasi membaca, komunitas baca tulis di sekolah, dan faktor yang memengaruhi minat baca siswa.

Abstract

Abstract: Teaching materials are a very important learning tool to support learning activities and are arranged systematically so that they can be used in teaching and learning activities. Basically, instructional materials compiled include knowledge and skills and contain information, facts, concepts and learning objectives. The teaching material developed in this study was writing a text for procedures containing Maluku local wisdom. Teaching materials that have been prepared display a variety of Maluku local wisdom formed in the procedural text of each unit. Text that contain step or steps that must be done to get the final destination is known as the procedure text.Abstrak: Bahan ajar adalah sebuah alat pembelajaran yang sangat penting untuk menunjang kegiatan pembelajaran dan disusun dengan sistematis sehingga dapat dipergunakan pada kegiatan belajar mengajar. Pada dasarnya, bahan disusun mencakup pengetahuan maupun keterampilan dan berisi informasi, fakta, konsep, dan tujuan pembelajaran. Bahan ajar yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini adalah menulis teks prosedur bermuatan kearifan lokal Maluku. Bahan ajar yang telah disusun menampilkan beragam kearifan lokal Maluku yang dibentuk dalam teks prosedur pada setiap unit. Teks yang berisi tahapan atau langkah yang wajib dilakukan guna mendapatkan tujuan akhir dikenal dengan nama teks prosedur.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to describe the form, function and response strategies from autistic studentson the teachers’ directive in the classroom. This study used a case study. The results showed that there are two categories of the students’ spoken responses: (1) speech production in the form of assertive, directive, commissive and expressive; and (2) the speech responses are based on the senses including auditory, visual and emotions. In addition, the function of the students’ responses is categorized into two: (i) the effect of speech production in terms of complaining, agreeing, asking, stating something, thanking, apologizing, asserting, reporting, mentioning and offering; and (ii) the students’ responses as the effect of the teachers’ directive speech acts. Abstract

The aim of this study is to develop Indonesian language teaching online materials as a Foreign Language (BIPA) which are suitable for beginner low level learners. This research is conducted in Malang in 2020. The procedure in this study uses the (Gall et al., 2007). The characteristics of the product consist of thirteen lessons that are used for online BIPA learning. Each lesson is developed based on actual topics according to beginner low level learner needs. The actual topics cover introduction, campus, home, office, canteen, park, and market. The variety of Indonesian uses in this teaching material is communicative variety. In addition, this teaching material is equipped with English as an complementary language. Based on the use test on the aspects of content, language, and presentation order, it can be concluded that online BIPA teaching material for beginner low-level learners has high feasibility. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar Bahasa Indonesia bagi Penutur Asing (BIPA) daring yang memiliki kelayakan untuk digunakan bagi pebelajar tingkat pemula rendah. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Malang pada tahun 2020. Prosedur yang digunakan adalah model (Gall et al., 2007). Karakteristik bahan ajar yang dihasilkan terdiri atas tiga belas unit pelajaran yang digunakan untuk pembelajaran BIPA secara daring. Tiap unit pelajaran dikembangkan bertumpu pada topik aktual sesuai dengan kebutuhan pebelajar tingkat pemula rendah. Topik-topik aktual tersebut antara lain tentang perkenalan, kampus, rumah, kantor, kantin, taman, dan pasar. Ragam bahasa Indonesia yang digunakan dalam bahan ajar ini ragam komunikatif. Selain itu, bahan ajar ini difasilitasi bahasa bantu bahasa Inggris. Berdasarkan uji pakai terhadap aspek isi, bahasa, dan struktur penyajian dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar BIPA daring untuk pebelajar tingkat pemula rendah daring ini memiliki kelayakan tinggi.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a creative and critical learning model in which its effectiveness is tested in Bahasa Indonesia classes at the senior high school level. This study employed the Four D Thiagarajan method. The first stage is defined and completed by theoretical and empirical analysis. The theoretical analysis comprises the analysis of the related literature and previous studies. Meanwhile, the empirical analysis is done by analysing the problems, students’ characteristics, assignments, concepts, and the formulation of learning objectives. The second stage designs in which the learning model prototype is planned. The third stage is development, which includes developing and testing the prototype. The fourth stage is dissemination, in which the product is distributed. The final product is the syntax of the Bahasa Indonesia lesson in the senior high school level, which comprises 5M, namely ‘menstimulasi’ (to stimulate), ‘mengeksplorasi’ (to explore), ‘memberi respons’ (to give response), ‘memproduksi’ (to create), and ‘merefleksi’ (to reflect). Based on the testing, it is revealed that there is an increase in students’ scores of around 7.7 on a scale of 100. Therefore, it can be concluded that the creative and critical 5M learning is effective for implementation in Bahasa Indonesia classes at the senior high school level.

Abstract

This study aims to produce learning materials for writing scientific articles for foreign students using the hybrid learning approach. This approach was chosen by utilizing the advantages of offline classes combined with online classes. This approach is in accordance with the characteristics of students as millennials. The development research method used consists of product design, product design, production, and product testing. The end result is learning materials to write scientific articles that are packaged in the form of modules, starting from the debriefing of concepts (f2f), planning of writing (f2f), writing a draft (ol), and editing the draft (f2f) writing process-genre based scientific articles with a hybrid learning approach for foreign students

Abstract

Tradisi baantaran jujuran merupakan salah satu tradisi sebelum melakukan pernikahan. Pihak calon mempelai laki-laki beserta rombongan keluarga mendatangi rumah calon mempelai wanita dengan melakukan prosesi penyerahan uang jujuran dan barang jujuran (barang pelengkap seserahan). Baantaran jujuran dipandu oleh pembawa acara dan sambutan oleh perwakilan pihak calon mempelai laki-laki dan sambutan dari pihak calon mempelai wanita. Tuturan yang disampaikan perwakilan dari pihak masing-masing kedua mempelai memiliki maksud yang ingin disampaikan. Tindak tutur dalam baantaran jujuran menarik untuk dikaji pada kebahasaanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan fungsi tindak tutur direktif dalam tradisi baantaran jujuran serah terima suku Banjar di Kalimantan Selatan. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah kata, frasa, atau kalimat berupa tuturan pada saat proses tradisi baantaran jujuran yang mengandung fungsi tindak tutur direktif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah para partisipan yang melakukan tuturan dalam peristiwa tradisi baantaran jujuran serah terima tersebut berlangsung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode teknik rekam, simak, dan catat. Observasi langsung untuk mengamati fenomena dan wawancara mendalam menggali data yang berkaitan erat dengan baantaran jujuran sesuai cara pandang masyarakat suku Banjar. Analisis data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian, yaitu dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam baantaran jujuran ditemukan fungsi-fungsi tindak tutur ilokusi yaitu: (1) fungsi tindak tutur direktif mengajak, (2) fungsi tindak tutur direktif meminta, (3) fungsi tindak tutur direktif menyuruh, dan (4) fungsi tindak tutur direktif menasihati.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic syndrome disease caused by increased glucose in the blood. Diabetes mellitus can lead to complications into other diseases if you don't get good care and self-management. Family support is an important aspect in improving quality of life and reducing blood glucose values. This community service aims to monitor the role of the family as an effort to reduce diabetes mellitus. The method used in this community service is by conducting demonstration counseling and distributing leaflets to patients and patient families as well as interactive discussions in order to provide opportunities for patients and evaluate the success of community service. The conclusion from this activity included that patients and their families could increase knowledge about the role of the family while suffering from diabetes mellitus with a significance of p <0.05 and satisfaction for participating in activities again strongly agreed 77.5% and agreed 22.5%.
