Abstract

The purpose of this research was to obtain the ratio of soyghurt and low fat milk in produce a functional ice cream with best of a value overrun, melting point, total lactic acid bacteria (LAB), and total solids. This research used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with four treatments and four replications. The treatments were SSr1 (soyghurt 100 : 0 low fat milk), SSr2 (soyghurt 80 : 20 low fat milk), SSr3 (soyghurt 60 : 40 low fat milk), and SSr4 (soyghurt 40 : 60 low fat milk). The data obtained were analyzed statistically by using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA).  If the F count was greater than or equal to F table then continued with DNMRT test at 5% level. The results of this research showed that the ratio of soyghurt and low fat milk in produce functional ice cream indicated significant effect (P<0,05) on overrun value, melting point, total LAB, and total solids.  The treatment SSr4 having overrun value of 35.98%, melting point 20.14 minutes, total LAB 8.77 log CFU/ml, pH 5.24, and total solids 26.80% was relatively better than other treatments. The functional ice cream obtained from SSr4 was also preferred by panelists than other treatments especially for hedonic acceptance test.   Keywords: Soyghurt, low fat milk, functional ice cream

Abstract

This research was conducted on Rejosari Village,Lyrics District. In this study, whether the number of family dependents has an effect on the level of education of children in Rejosari Village,Lyrics District. Does income affect the level of education of children in Rejosari Village,Lyrics District. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of the variable Number of Family Dependents and Income on the Education Level of Children in Rejosari Village,Lyrics District. Sampling was done by accidental sampling randomly with 115 sample as respondents. The analytical method used is descriptive quantitative method, data analysis is carried out by path analysis (with the help of the IBM SPSS Stastic version 21.0 program). From the results of the study showed that the number of family dependents and income had an effect on the level of education of children in Rejosari Village,Lyrics District. Abstract

During pregnancy, physiological changes occur that affect hemoglobin levels, often leading to anemia. According to the World Health Organization (2021), approximately 36.5% of pregnant women worldwide experienced anemia in 2019. Anemia in pregnant women can be caused by non-compliance with taking iron supplements (Tablet Tambah Darah, TTD), often due to nausea from the taste and smell of the tablets. As an effort to address anemia, complementary dietary therapy with iron-rich fruits and vegetables can be an effective alternative. Community service was conducted at Biduk-Biduk Health Center using a two-way method involving education with flipcharts and leaflets, followed by a Q&A session to enhance pregnant women's knowledge about complementary nutritional therapy. Results showed a significant increase in knowledge, with the average pre-test score of 53.57 rising to 100 in the post-test. This activity successfully raised awareness and knowledge among pregnant women about the importance of nutritional diet in preventing anemia. Evaluation indicated that this community service activity was beneficial, though some areas need improvement. The preparation of appropriate educational materials and the structured implementation of activities contributed positively to achieving the program's objectives.   Abstrak Pada masa kehamilan, terjadi perubahan fisiologis yang mempengaruhi kadar hemoglobin, sering kali menyebabkan anemia. Berdasarkan data World Health Organization (2021), sekitar 36,5% wanita hamil di seluruh dunia mengalami anemia pada tahun 2019. Anemia pada ibu hamil dapat disebabkan oleh ketidakpatuhan dalam mengonsumsi Tablet Tambah Darah (TTD) yang seringkali dikarenakan rasa mual akibat rasa dan bau tablet. Sebagai upaya untuk mengatasi anemia, terapi komplementer diet nutrisi dengan mengonsumsi buah dan sayuran tinggi zat besi dapat menjadi alternatif yang efektif. Pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan di Puskesmas Biduk-Biduk dengan metode kelas ibu hamil, melibatkan penyuluhan menggunakan lembar balik dan leaflet, serta tanya jawab untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang diet nutrisi komplementer. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan ibu hamil, dengan nilai pre-test rata-rata 53,57 meningkat menjadi 100 pada post-test. Kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran dan pengetahuan ibu hamil mengenai pentingnya diet nutrisi dalam mencegah anemia. Evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bermanfaat, meskipun masih terdapat hal yang perlu diperbaiki. Penyusunan materi edukasi yang tepat dan pelaksanaan kegiatan yang terstruktur memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap pencapaian tujuan program.

Abstract

Memorizing Asmaul Husna through the movement method at one of the Dadapan Village TPAs aims to increase the memorization of Asmaul Husna for children at the Dadapan Village TPA. The movement method is used to help the memorization process because this method is very creative and can be used as a support for Asmaul Husna learning. The results of memorizing Asmaul Husna show that there is active participation from both children. This memorization program is also fully supported by the TPA and parents. Asmaul Husna's learning using movement and singing methods was successfully implemented in TPA and was successful in improving children's memorization abilities.

Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively analyze the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) of Sabri Kupi Coffee Shop, a local business located in Lhokseumawe City, Aceh. Sabri Kupi was established in 2020, coinciding with the COVID-19 pandemic, and has since positioned itself as one of the coffee shops serving traditional Acehnese coffee while providing a comfortable space for social interaction. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through direct observation of the coffee shop’s operations and semi-structured interviews with the owner, employees, and regular customers. The findings reveal that Sabri Kupi has several notable strengths, including its strategic location, the distinctive taste of Aceh coffee, a friendly atmosphere, and adequate facilities. However, the study also identifies weaknesses, particularly limited promotional strategies and heavy reliance on coffee-based beverages. In terms of opportunities, the increasing trend of coffee consumption and the strong culture of socializing in coffee shops present significant prospects for business development. Conversely, threats primarily stem from the intense competition among numerous coffee shops in the surrounding area and the shifting preferences of consumers. Based on the SWOT analysis, this study provides insights and recommendations to strengthen Sabri Kupi’s market position, improve promotional efforts, and explore product diversification as strategies to enhance competitiveness in the local coffee industry.

Abstract

Invasi eceng gondok (Eichhornia crassipes) di Bendungan Way Rarem, Desa Pekurun Tengah, Lampung Utara, menimbulkan dampak ekologis dan sosial-ekonomi, seperti penurunan kualitas air, kematian ikan budidaya, serta terganggunya fungsi irigasi. Selama ini, penanganan hanya dilakukan dengan membersihkan dan membuang tanaman tersebut, sehingga menimbulkan limbah organik berulang dan tidak produktif. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan memberdayakan Gabungan Kelompok Tani (Gapoktan) Karya Tani melalui pemanfaatan eceng gondok menjadi produk bernilai guna serta penerapan strategi komunikasi pemasaran digital berbasis kearifan lokal. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan lima tahapan, yaitu sosialisasi, pelatihan teknis dan manajerial, penerapan teknologi tepat guna, pendampingan dan evaluasi, serta penguatan keberlanjutan program. Hingga tahap awal, kegiatan yang telah dilakukan meliputi sosialisasi kesadaran lingkungan terkait pemanfaatan eceng gondok dan pelatihan pembuatan pakan ternak fermentasi. Tim juga menghasilkan draft modul sederhana sebagai pedoman praktik masyarakat dalam mengolah eceng gondok menjadi pakan ternak alternatif. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pentingnya pengelolaan eceng gondok dan peningkatan keterampilan dasar dalam pembuatan pakan ternak fermentasi, pupuk organik dan kerajinan tangan. Selain itu, pelatihan ini memberikan stimulus dengan penguatan kapasitas manajerial, serta penerapan model komunikasi pemasaran digital terpadu atau Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC). Program ini diharapkan mampu memberikan dampak ganda berupa pengurangan limbah eceng gondok sekaligus peningkatan pendapatan ekonomi masyarakat desa.
