Abstract

The research pointed out the escalating challenges faced by the Indonesian Public Drinking Water Utilities (PDAMs) in ensuring water access, emphasizing the need for sustainable practices. The primary research problems are deliberately around understanding how CSR practices, corporate culture, and leadership styles impact business continuity in the context of water management utilities. The objective is to explore the relationships between CSR, corporate culture, leadership styles, and business continuity in PDAMs. The data were collected through structured self-administered questionnaires distributed to 100 employees of PDAM in East Nusa Tenggara of Indonesia, assessing their perceptions of CSR practices, corporate culture, leadership styles, and business continuity. The Likert-type scale responses were analyzed, revealing significant associations between these variables. Findings indicate that CSR initiatives positively contribute to business continuity, aligning with the leader's vision of community impact. The unique corporate culture, rooted in strong spiritual values, fosters a distinct work atmosphere and influences community habits. Additionally, a distinctive leadership style, treating employees as family, positively impacts employee attitude and business sustainability. While providing valuable insights, the study acknowledges limitations in generalizability and recommends further research for a comprehensive understanding of these dynamics.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of self-efficacy and reward on employee performance at Bank NTT Head Office, with work motivation as a moderating variable. The main problems discussed include how the relationship between self-efficacy, reward, and motivation to improve employee performance directly and indirectly. The method used is a quantitative approach with an explanatory research type, involving 188 respondents from a population of 354 employees of Bank NTT Head Office. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires and documentation, and analyzed using the Partial Least Square (PLS) technique. The results of the study indicate that self-efficacy, reward, motivation, and employee performance are in the good category. Self-efficacy and reward have a significant direct influence on employee performance, as well as motivation. However, work motivation has not been shown to moderate the influence of self-efficacy and reward on performance. This finding indicates the importance of strengthening psychological aspects and reward systems in supporting employee productivity. The conclusion of this study confirms that direct interventions on self-efficacy and reward are more effective than using motivation as an intermediary variable. Therefore, human resource development should be focused on increasing self-confidence and a fair reward system to optimize organizational performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of HR competency, self-efficacy, work discipline, and non-physical work environment on employee performance, with job satisfaction as a moderating variable at SK Lerik Kupang Regional General Hospital. The study sample consisted of 203 randomly selected employees, with data collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Partial Least Square (PLS), this method is strong in predicting the relationship between latent variables and their indicators. The results showed that competency, self-efficacy, work discipline, and non-physical work environment had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Meanwhile, job satisfaction was proven to have a direct effect on performance, but did not moderate the relationship between the four variables and employee performance. This finding confirms the importance of improving competency, discipline, self-efficacy, and the quality of the work environment in driving performance, while job satisfaction plays a more independent role.
