Abstract

Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui hasil belajar, aktivitas, dan respons siswa terhadap model pembelajaran advance organizer dengan peta konsep dan model pembelajaran yang mengadopsi teori Van Hiele pada pokok bahasan bangun datar khususnya segiempat kelas VII SMPN 2 Sinjai Timur, (2) mengetahui bagaimana pemahaman konsep bangun datar siswa antara yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran advance organizer dengan peta konsep dan model pembelajaran yang mengadopsi teori Van Hiele. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelasVII SMPN 2 Sinjai Timur dan sampel terdiri dari dua kelas yakni kelasVII-A dan kelas VII-C kedua-duanya sebagai kelas eksperimen yang diplih menggunakan teknik purposive random sampling. Data yang dikumpulkan terdiri data atas hasil belajar siswa, data aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran, dan data respons siswa terhadap perangkat dan pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa skor hasil belajar matematika siswa pada kelas eksperimen 1 dengan mean 20,36 dan standar deviasi 2,164 mencapai tingkat ketuntasan secara klasikal sebesar 89,29%, serta aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran berada pada kategori aktif dan respons siswa terhadap perangkat dan pembelajarannya adalah positif. Secara umum disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran advance organizer dengan peta konsep untuk diterapkan di kelas VII SMPN 2 Sinjai Timur dengan kategori cukup efektif. Skor hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen 2 dengan mean 20,63 dan standar deviasi 2,589 mencapai tingkat ketuntasan secara klasikal sebesar 88,89% serta aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran berada pada kategori aktif dan respons siswa terhadap perangkat dan pembelajarannya adalah positif. Secara umum disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran yang mengadopsi teori Van Hiele untuk diterapkan di kelas VII SMPN 2 Sinjai Timur dengan kategori cukup efektif. Hasil uji hipotesis pada taraf siginifikan dengan uji-t menunjukan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan pemahaman konsep bangun datar siswa antara yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran advance organizer dengan peta konsep dan model pembelajaran yag mengadopsi teori Van Hiele.Kata kunci: Pendekatan saintifik, Keterampilan proses sains, Hasil belajar kognitif biologi. ABSTRACTThe type of this research is experimental research that aims to: (1) know the learning outcomes, activities, and responses of students to advance organizer learning model with concept maps and learning models that adopt Van Hiele theory on the subject of wake up, especially quadrilateral class VII SMPN 2 Sinjai East, (2) to know how to understand the concept of students' wake up between those taught by advance organizer learning model with concept map and learning model adopting Van Hiele theory. The population in this study were all students of class VII of SMPN 2 Sinjai Timur and the sample consisted of two classes namely class VII-A and class VII-C, both as an experimental class was selected using purposive random sampling technique. The data collected consisted of data on student learning outcomes, student activity data in learning, and student response data on the device and learning. The results showed that the score of students' mathematics learning outcomes in experimental class 1 with mean of 20,36 and standard deviation 2,164 reach classical completeness equal to 89,29%, and student activity in learning is in the active category and student response to device and its learning is positive. In general, it is concluded that advanced organizer learning model with concept map to be applied in class VII SMPN 2 Sinjai Timur with quite effective category. Score of student learning outcomes in experiment class 2 with mean of 20,63 and standard deviation 2,589 reach classical completeness equal to 88,89% and student activity in learning is inactive category and student response to device and its learning is positive. It is generally concluded that the learning model adopting Van Hiele's theory to be applied in class VII SMPN 2 Sinjai Timur is quite effective. The result of hypothesis test at significance level ? = 0,05 with t-test shows that there is no difference in understanding the concept of students' wake up between the taught with advance organizer learning model with concept map and learning model adopting Van Hiele theory.Keywords: Scientific approach, science process skills, cognitive learning result.

DOWNLOAD PDFKonsep  limit  fungsi  memegang  peranan  yang  sangat  penting  karena  merupakankonsep dasar untuk membangun beberapa konsep kalkulus lainnya, misalnya turunan danintegral.  Beberapa  mahasiswa  belum  memahami  definisi  formal  limit  fungsi  di  satu  titikdan  belum  mampu  mengaplikasikan  definisi  formal  untuk  menvalidasi  kebenaran  nilailimit. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pemahaman mahasiswa terhadapkonsep limit fungsi di satu titik. Pemahaman  yang dimaksud dalam penelitian ini adalahpemahaman instrumental (mampu menuliskan konsep limit fungsi di satu titik tetapi tidakmampu  menjelaskan  dengan  tepat)  dan  pemahaman  relasional  (mampu  menuliskan  danmenjelaskan konsep limit fungsi di satu titik dengan tepat). Subjek penelitian adalah tigaorang  mahasiswa  Jurusan  Matematika  yaitu  seorang  berkemampuan  tinggi  (ST)  denganIPK  lebih  besar  3,50,  berkemampuan  sedang  (SS)  dengan  IPK  antara  3,10  sampai  3,50,dan  berkemampuan  rendah  (SR)  dengan  IPK  kurang  dari  3,10.  Untuk  mengungkap  datapenelitian, dilakukan wawancara berbasis tugas kepada subjek penelitian. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan  pemahaman  subjek  tinggi  dan  subjek  sedang  terhadap  aspek-aspek  yangdiamati,  pada  umumnya  termasuk  pemahaman  relasional,  sedangkan  pemahaman  subjekrendah pada umumnya termasuk pemahaman instrumental.Kata kunci : Pemahaman instrumental dan relasional, limit fungsi di satu titik

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Everyone is A Teacher Here (ETH) dalam pembelajaran matematika materi Keliling dan Luas Bangun Datar pada kelas XI SMKT Somba Opu Sungguminasa Kab. Gowa dan mendeskripsikan hasil belajar, respon, aktivitas, kemandirian belajar, dan kemampuan komunikasi matematika siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Everyone is A Teacher Here (ETH). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pra-eksperimen yang melibatkan satu kelas (One Grup) sebagai kelas eksperimen, dengan pemilihan sampelmenggunakan teknik Simple Random Sampling.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Everyone is a Teacher Here (ETH)pada materi Keliling dan Luas Bangun Datardalam kategori terlaksana dengan baik. Penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe ETHpada materi Keliling dan Luas Bangun Datar pada siswa kelas XI SMKT Somba Opu Sungguminasa Kab. Abstract

Penyebab Kesulitan Mahasiswa dalam Pembuktian Matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi penyebab kesulitan pembuktian matematika mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika UNM Makassar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksploratif yang bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi penyebab kesulitan mahasiswa dalam pembuktian matematika, secara kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika FMIPA UNM Makassar. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat dua kategori penyebab kesulitan mahasiswa dalam Pembuktian Matematika, yaitu: (1) kurangnya pemahaman tentang bukti matematika, (2) kurangnya pemahaman konsep dan prinsip matematika.Kata kunci: penyebab kesulitan, pembelajaran, pembuktian matematika

Abstract

This study aims to describe the students' mathematical reasoning abilities in solving TIMSS cognitive domain reasoning problems in algebraic content in terms of the student’s thinking style of the students. The type of research is a qualitative research study with a descriptive approach. The subjects of this research consisted of one student who representing each of the concrete sequential thinking styles. The instrument of this research used consisted of thinking style questionnaires, mathematical reasoning ability test questions, and interview guidelines. The results of this study indicate that: SK thinking style subjects are able to meet four indicators of mathematical reasoning ability, namely: a) the ability to make guesses, b) the ability to draw conclusions, arrange evidence, provide reasons or evidence for the truth of the solution, c) the ability to draw the validity of an argumen, and d) the ability to find patterns or the nature of mathematical symptoms to make generalizations.

Abstract

This study aims to see how the descriptions of anxiety student data are viewed from the level of students' mathematical abilities and is there a relationship between students 'math anxiety and the level of students' math abilities. This type of research uses quantitative methods to determine whether there is a relationship between students 'math anxiety and the level of students' mathematical abilities and qualitative methods to describe the characteristics of mathematics learning anxiety in terms of students' mathematical abilities. The subjects of this study were 3 students, namely one student with low math ability, one student with moderate math ability, and one student with high math ability. The research instrument consisted of a math ability test, an anxiety questionnaire and an interview guide. The level of math ability is categorized using standard deviation. The results showed that: In general, there is no relationship between students 'math anxiety level and students' math abilities in class XI IPA 2, however, some special cases show that there are children who have math anxiety in each category of math ability level (1) Students with low math abilities always experience symptoms of math anxiety because of low self-confidence, poor mastery of mathematical concepts, negative attitudes towards mathematics and passive (2) Students with moderate math abilities often experience math anxiety due to a high fear of mistakes, lack of mastery of mathematical concepts, perception of mathematics is difficult, and passive (3) Students with mathematical abilities rarely experience mathematics because the anxiety they experience is something that everyone naturally feels.

Abstract

This study aims to describe students' errors in solving problems in the material of Sequences and Series based on Hadar's criteria in terms of students' mathematical understanding. The type of research used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. There are 6 research subjects, namely 2 students with high mathematical understanding, 2 students with moderate mathematical understanding, and 2 students with low mathematical understanding. The instrument used in data collection was an understanding test containing 7 questions, a series and series problem test containing 3 questions, as well as interview guidelines. The results showed that all subjects who worked on questions related to determining the P-th term in the series geometry and in working on problems related to determining the cattle population tend to make technical errors. Meanwhile, in working on problems related to determining the number of terms in an arithmetic sequence, the subject did not experience any errors in completing the answer except for the fifth subject and the sixth subject who did not answer at all.

Abstract

Siswa dituntut agar dapat menggunakan keahlian komunikasi, penalaran, menghubungkan berbagai ide matematika untuk memecahkan masalah, serta mengubah perilaku positif terhadap matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan pemecahan masalah berdasarkan disposisi matematis siswa kelas IX pada materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 3 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu pemberian angket, tes uraian, dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini yaitu kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa dengan kategori disposisi matematis tinggi sudah mampu menyelesaikan ketujuh tahapan pemecahan masalah; dan siswa dengan kategori disposisi matematis sedang masih kurang maksimal; sedangkan siswa dengan kategori disposisi matematis rendah hanya mampu menyelesaikan beberapa tahapan pemecahan masalah. Students are required to be able to use communication skills, and reasoning, connect various mathematical ideas to solve problems, and change positive behavior toward mathematics. This study aims to analyze problem-solving abilities based on the mathematical dispositions of class IX students in the matter of a system of two-variable linear equations. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The research subjects were 3 students. Data collection techniques in this study were questionnaires, essay tests, and interviews. Data analysis techniques in this study are data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this study indicate that the problem-solving abilities of students with high mathematical disposition categories have been able to complete the seven stages of problem-solving. The problem-solving abilities of students with moderate mathematical disposition categories are still not optimal. The problem-solving abilities of students with low mathematical disposition categories are only able to complete several stages of problem-solving.

Abstract

This study delves into the mathematical SFR model capturing the pace of Celebrity Worship Behavior among devoted K-Pop enthusiasts. Primary data is harnessed via questionnaires directly sourced from the community within South Sulawesi Province, offering insights into the rhythm of Celebrity Worship Behavior among K-Pop aficionados. The research embarks on constructing the SFR model and subsequently navigating through an array of analyses and simulations pertaining to Celebrity Worship Behavior in the K-Pop sphere. This comprehensive approach encompasses pinpointing equilibrium junctures, scrutinizing model stability, computing the fundamental reproduction number (R0), orchestrating model simulations using Maple software, and untangling the implications of simulation outcomes. Within this article, the SFR mathematical model materializes through a synthesis of analysis and simulation, uncovering two equilibrium points: the unconstrained equilibrium of Celebrity Worship Behavior in the realm of K-Pop enthusiasts, and the equilibrium specific to this distinctive behavior. A calculated basic reproduction number of R0=0,425 alludes to a decline in the populace engaging in Celebrity Worship Behavior within the K-Pop community.

Abstract

Studies This explore the mathematical model of SFR with use run kutta order 6 that catches rate Behavior Worship Celebrities among​ fan loyal K-Pop. Main data obtained through direct questionnaire​ taken from communities in South Sulawesi Province , provide outlook about rhythm Behavior Worship Celebrities among​ K-Pop lovers . Research This aiming For to study phenomenon idolization K-Pop celebrities among fans in South Sulawesi through approach solution numerical . Using the SFR mathematical model and the Runge- Kutta method Order 6, results simulation show that K-Pop idolization in the region This Enough significant , influenced by social media as well as factor culture and social local . Data shows existence decline amount vulnerable fans​ to addicted to K-Pop, but fluctuation behavior addiction and decline number recovery still become attention . Research This highlight importance more intervention​ effective , such as therapy and support social , for overcome impact negative from idolization celebrity . Findings This also provides outlook valuable for development strategy in handle phenomenon idolization celebrities who continue develop in the future.
