Abstract

Designers are required to be able to develop themselves in making a product that can attract public interest. People need a place to rest and relax, one of the facilities is to relax using a patio chair. Terrace chairs as a relaxing facility need a comfortable and functional design, as well as aesthetic value.The purpose of making this design is to create creative and innovative patio chairs. Patio chairs are sitting facilities for a means of relaxing or relaxing on the terrace.The porch chair that the penulus makes takes the bamboo stick as its shape structure with marble finish so that it is able to display a dynamic impression, the dowel construction is used for easy assembly. so that creative and innovative patio chair designs are created. Abstract

Wayang merupakan kebudayaan yang akrab dengan masyarakat. Wayang adalah salah satu segi kebudayaan yang merangkum berbagai macam bidang seni. Salah satu dari jenis wayang tersebut di atas, yang timbul saat kebudayaan Islam, adalah wayang kulit purwo. Wayang kulit purwo pada dasarnya dibuat dari kulit sapi/lembu”. Wayang kulit purwo menggunakan boneka berbentuk 2 dimensi.  Wayang kulit purwo yang menceritakan cerita ramayana maupun cerita mahabarata, dinamai wayang purwo karena wayang ini adalah wayang yang pertama kali menggunakan kulit sebagai media bonekanya. Wayang terdapat pada budaya Indonesia sejak jaman majapahit, namun ceritanya masih berkisar cerita jawa, sedangkan cerita mahabarata populer pada era kerajaan kediri pada era raja Jayabaya di mana  cerita mahabarata  digubah kembali oleh Empu Sedah kemudian  dilanjutkan oleh Empu Panuluh. tetapi masuknya Islam di Indonesia terjadi kolaborasi budaya di mana cerita  wayang digunakan sebagai siar agama oleh para sunan. Maka pada era kasunanan ini, sunan Kalijaga membuat boneka wayang dengan kulit sapi/lembu yang diberi nama wayang purwo.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengungkap bentuk rupa motif ukir padaMasjid Mantingan Jepara, terdapat banyak motif ukir yang tertempel di serambi masjid, baik yang dipengaruhi oleh budaya Hindu, Islam dan China. Motif ukir di serambi Masjid Mantingan dianggap mewakili motif ukir tradisional yang ada di Jepara, dengan mengkaji motif ukir tradisional Jepara yang berkaitan dengan pengetahuan dan nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam akar budaya masyarakat Jepara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan pendekatan studi lapangan melalui survei, wawancara dan pustaka. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis data model interaktif yang terdiri dari beberapa tahap, yaitu: pengumpulan data, reduksi data, analisis data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa. karakteristik motif ukir yang terdapat pada Masjid Mantingan Jepara merupakan hasil stilasi dari bentuk-bentuk alamyaitu teratai, pohon kelapa, pohon hayat, kuda, kera, burung phoenix, merak, kelelawar, gunung, joglo, candi bentar, gapura dan bentukbentuk geometri yang berupa perpaduan ortogonal, lingkaran, kubus, segi enam dengan kombinasi flora. Bentuk rupa motif ukir pada Masjid Mantingan terbuat dari bahan batu putih sebagai sebuah sistem simbol yang dipenuhi dengan makna, baik makna denotatif maupun makna konotatif. Motif ukir yang diterapkan pada industri mebel banyak mengadopsi dari motif ukir di Masjid Mantingan yang merupakan cikal bakal perkembangan seni ukir di Jepara.

Abstract

The use of Jepara ornaments is intended, so that Indonesian furniture designers should still care about the arts and culture of the archipelago, namely by applying handicraft products into them, so that they can become a media of socialization and appreciation of Indonesian culture.Many activities are carried out on the terrace, so humans will need facilities to support these activities, namely chairs and tables. Humans need a table and chairs design that can support all their activities on the terrace.The combination of wood and stainless materials is an option in making patio chairs and tables, with a simple design, which is one of the products that humans need for their patio space. Chair and table designs can be placed in any type of terrace, creative and new designs make these chairs and tables a point of interest on the terrace

Abstract

Today's modern lifestyle is very influential on human activities, as well as the facilities and infrastructure used to assist their activities. In general, people want something that is simple, practical and comfortable. This can be seen when humans do activities at home.The terrace is one of the rooms that is currently experiencing additional functions, which is usually only for receiving guests, currently there are many things that can be done on the terrace, such as sitting back, chatting, gathering with family, friends or relatives, playing. The terrace is currently located not only in front of the house, it can be on the side, behind, above (balcony).The combination of wood and stainless materials is an option in making patio chairs and tables, with a simple design, which is one of the products that humans need for their patio space. Chair and table designs can be placed in any type of terrace, creative and new designs make these chairs and tables a point of interest on the terrace.

Abstract

The existing sofa has a function only as a means to sit back and relax.When users sit reading newspapers, books, magazines or novels, people sitting on the sofa often stand up from their seats just to change feathers or reading, most people are sitting reading lazy to do it, because it is in a comfortable position. Likewise with bookshelves, most of the shapes are large and difficult and less mobile so that more people place them in corners of the room which are quite difficult to reach The development of the sofa is increasingly diverse, as now the sofa is no longer just a comfortable sitting facility but also functions as a furniture to decorate the room, one of which is a reading sofa, designed as a means of sitting while displaying other functions, namely the existence of a place to put books and magazines .A sofa that is equipped with a bookshelf is a collaboration between a sofa and a bookshelf where bookshelves are placed on both sides of the sofa which allows users to reach it easier. This design also has another function, namely the footrests that have been installed with the gas spring hydraulic system to increase sitting comfort.

Technological progress can be seen in the various changes in mindset, innovation and increasingly advanced human life styles. furniture needs needed to support activities. The table is a piece of furniture that is needed to support comfort when operating a laptop. In addition to the convenience of a simple table shape, the function of the table is maximized, one of which is a cube. The simplicity of the cube shape adds practical value and beauty to space.This research produces a laptop desk that is comfortable, not large, and can be used to put things in. The shape of the cube and the provision of ornaments of the mantingan mosque as a decorative element to form the aesthetics of the laptop table
