Abstract

Diabetes mellitus, a metabolic disorder, is a chronic disease distinguished by hyperglycemia (above-normal blood sugar levels). Case studies are conducted to gain practical experience in administering foot exercises and providing nursing care to clients with diabetes mellitus. The descriptive method was used, along with a case study approach and the use of evidence-based practices. Nursing care was provided to a 55-year-old female patient with diabetes and ketosis. The results of the study obtained four nursing problems, namely ineffective airway clearance, unstable blood glucose levels, risk of nutritional deficits, risk of ineffective peripheral perfusion. The implementation was carried out, namely doing diabetic foot exercises for 15-20 minutes with a frequency of 1x/day for three days to reduce tingling in patients. The evaluation results showed that the tingling sensation was significantly reduced on the third day. In conclusion, diabetic foot exercise can be applied to diabetes mellitus patients who experience impaired peripheral blood flow. Hopefully the results of this study can provide information about the application of diabetic foot exercises to patients and their families to reduce tingling in the feet.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the Bank Indonesia interest rate (BI Rate), banking credit, and Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) on the Indonesia Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) during the period 2005–2024. The research employs multiple linear regression analysis using the Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) approach with secondary data obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), Bank Indonesia (BI), and the World Bank. The results indicate that the three independent variables BI Rate, banking credit, and FDI have a significant effect on IHSG, either partially or simultaneously. The BI Rate has a negative and significant influence, while banking credit and FDI have positive and significant effects. The adjusted coefficient of determination (Adjusted R²) of 0.9591 shows that 95.91% of the variation in IHSG can be explained by these variables, while the remaining 4.09% is influenced by other factors outside the model. These findings confirm that maintaining monetary stability, increasing productive credit, and encouraging foreign investment play crucial roles in strengthening Indonesia’s capital market performance. Therefore, policies should focus on maintaining interest rate stability, expanding credit distribution, and creating a conducive investment climate to support a sustainable and resilient capital market.

Abstract

The problem of environmental pollution and destruction in Indonesia remains a serious issue with a broad impact on the sustainability of ecosystems and human life. This condition demands effective law enforcement against environmental crimes. This study aims to analyze the concept of environmental crimes, the types of environmental crimes, the role of law enforcement officers, and the application of legal sanctions based on Law Number 32 of 2009 concerning Environmental Protection and Management. The research method used is a normative juridical approach with a descriptive qualitative research type. Data were obtained through a literature study by reviewing relevant laws and regulations, legal literature, and scientific journals. The research stages include problem identification, collection and classification of legal materials, juridical analysis, and drawing conclusions. The results show that environmental crimes are classified as crimes that include material and formal offenses, with various forms of acts such as environmental pollution, environmental destruction, management of B3 waste without a permit, violation of environmental permits, crimes against biodiversity, and illegal mining. Law enforcement involves the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, the Police, and the Prosecutor's Office, and is supported by the application of criminal, administrative, and civil sanctions. However, in practice, law enforcement still faces obstacles, particularly in terms of proof and the effectiveness of sanctions, which have not yet fully provided a deterrent effect. This research is expected to provide academic contributions to the development of environmental law studies and serve as a consideration for strengthening environmental law enforcement in Indonesia.
