Abstract

This study aims to determine whether or not the mangrove crab seeker business Desa Pasar Ngalam Kecamatan Air Periukan Kabupaten of Seluma regency is profitable. The method used in this research was the census, and questionnaire was used as instrument to retrieve data. On the other hand, 19 mangrove crabs seekers as respondents of the study.  The results of analysis indicate that the average income earned by the mangrove crab seeker Desa Pasar Ngalam Kecamatan Air Periukan Kabupaten Seluma Regency is about Rp. 274.966, 20 per month

Abstract

Based on coffee export data 2008-2017, the index value of Indonesia's coffee trade specialization is positive (0-1). The average value of ISPs of Indonesian coffee for 10 years is 0.91, meaning that Indonesia tends to be a coffee exporter country. Indonesian coffee has competitiveness  in the international market with an acceleration ratio value between 10.66 in 2012 to 53.76 in 2008. The always positive acceleration ratio (AR) value shows that Indonesian coffee is able to win the world coffee market. Indonesian coffee also has a comparative advantage with the value of Revealed Comparative Advantages (RCA) which is always positive. The highest RCA value of Indonesian coffee occurred in 2008 at 5.26 and the lowest RCA value in 2011 was 2.60, while the average RCA value of Indonesia was 3.93.

Abstract

Sampai saat ini petani cabe di Kabawetan masih mengantungkan usahanya pada penjualan cabe segar. Keterbatasan pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani menyebabkan mereka sama sekali belum mampu mengolah hasil panen cabe menjadi produk pangan lainnya yang memilki nilai tambah dan masa simpan yang lebih lama. Berdasarkana diskusi dan masukan dari ibu-ibu anggota kelompok wanita tani, disepakati untuk memberikan sentuhan teknologi pengolahan pada produk cabe segar yang dihasilkan petani. Disamping menghasilkan produk yang memilki nilai tambah juga sebagai upaya antisipasi kelangkaan cabe pada saat harga melonjak tinggi. Cabe merah diolah menjadi cabe kering, cabe bubuk, abon cabe, pasta dan aneka saos cabe. Solusi ini dipilih dan disepakati dengan pertimbangan pembuatannya sangat mudah dan bahan bahan bakunya sangat melimpah di Kecamatan Kabawetan. Bentuk kegiatan yang dilakukan diantaranya berupa; pendidikan dan penyuluhan tentang pengolahan pascapanen produk sayuran; pelatihan dalam pembuatan cabe kering, cabe bubuk, abon , pasta dan saos cabe merah. Kegiatan pengabdian yang telah dilakukan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan ibu-ibu petani dalam mengolah cabe merah, mengurangi kerugian petani disaat harga anjlok dan bisa menjadi usaha sampingan bagi ibu-ibu petani cabe sehingga dapat meningkatkan penghasilan keluarganya.

Abstract

Kabupaten Pamekasan merupakan salah satu penghasil tembakau terbesar di Madura. Berdasarkan data statistik BPS 2019 luas lahan tembakau di Kabupaten Pamekasan sebanyak 27.508 ha,dengan produksi 18.984 ton/tahun. Varietas tembakau Madura diminati oleh perusahaan industri rokok karena memiliki karakteristik tekstur dan aroma yang khas sehingga cocok digunakan sebagai bahan baku utama maupun sebagai racikan atau campuran. Namun, terdapat beberapa permasalahan yang dialami petani tembakau yaitu, luas lahan yang sempit, menurunnya kesuburan lahan, alih fungsi lahan pertanian, serangan hama penyakit, dan pemupukan yang tidak sesuai dengan tanaman tembakau. Sehingga perlu dilakukan penelitian dengan tujuan penelitian yaitu : (1) menganalisis tingkat motivasi petani dalam berusahatani tembakau di Desa Bulangan Barat Kecamatan Pegantenan Kabupaten Pamekasan, (2) menganalisis faktor-faktor yang berhubungan terhadap motivasi petani dalam melakukan usahatani tembakau di Desa Bulangan Barat Kecamatan Pegantenan Kabupaten Pamekasan.. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Responden yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini adalah 66 sampel menggunakan teknik multistage sampling. Teknik analisis yang digunakan menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis korelasi Rank Spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) tingkat motivasi petani tembakau yang dilakukan di Desa Bulangan Barat, Kecamatan Pegantenan, Kabupaten Pamekasan berkategori tinggi. Skor yang diperoleh sebesar 4,07 dimana skor tersebut berada di kategori “Tinggi”. (2) Faktor yang berhubungan dengan motivasi petani adalah peluang pemasaran (X5) karena memiliki nilai koefisien korelasi (rs) 0,288 dan Sig.value lebih besar dari 0,05. Hal ini berarti Peluang pemasaran termasuk pada korelasi ‘rendah” dan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara peluang pemasaran dengan motivasi petani.

Abstract

This community service was carried out in Kungkai Baru Village, Air Periukan District, Seluma Regency. The material for this activity is the use of water hyacinth as a handicraft, where water hyacinth can be used for animal feed, handicrafts and compost which has a high economic value. The target of this service is the Segara Tani Women Farmers Group (KWT) in Kungkai Baru Village.The benefits of community service activities (1) Increase the knowledge and skills of members of the women's farmer group in Kungkai Baru Village in the use of water hyacinth (2) Increase the insight of the women members of the women's farmer group to open home industry business opportunities in making compost from water hyacinth.The results of this community service activity include (1) women members of women's groups in Kungkai Baru village are very enthusiastic in participating in all stages of this service activity (2) Increased knowledge and skills of women members of women's farmer groups in the use of water hyacinth (3) opening up the insights and thoughts of women members of farmer groups about the benefits of water hyacinth as a new business opportunity

Abstract

Strawberry is one of the subtropical fruit products that has great potential to be developed in Indonesia. The problem in this business is that there is no institution that accommodates and markets strawberries so that the marketing network is still between cities and a small part is sent to the city of Surabaya. The objectives of this study are: to analyze the marketing problems of strawberries and the marketing mix of strawberries in the Strawberry Barn, Pandanrejo Village, Bumiaji District, Batu City, in April-May 2022 with the consideration that the location is a center for strawberry cultivation and the majority of the people are strawberry farmers. Marketing problems and marketing mix were analyzed by qualitative descriptive method. The method of determining respondents in this study used purposive sampling. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. The results showed that the problem of marketing strawberries is that there is no institution that accommodates and markets strawberries so that the marketing network in the granary is still between cities and a small portion is sent to the city of Surabaya. The weakness of strawberry fruit products is also not durable, spoils quickly, the fruit is soft so special handling is needed by speeding up the shipping process. Abstract

Consumer purchasing decisions are complex individual processes that involve numerous considerations before making a purchase. Product quality and price are two significant factors that influence consumer purchasing decisions. Understanding the influence of these factors is crucial for businesses seeking to improve their sales and meet the expectations of their customers. This study aims to investigate the impact of product quality and price on consumer purchasing decisions for honey at PT Kembang Joyo Sriwijaya Malang. The study employed a quantitative research design, using accidental sampling to select consumers who had purchased honey from the store more than once. Data was collected from 75 respondents, and structural equation modeling (SEM-PLS) was used to analyze the data. The analysis involved examining the relationship between product quality and price with consumer purchasing decisions. The findings of the study showed that product quality and price had a significant positive effect on consumer purchasing decisions. Product quality had a positive relationship with purchasing decisions, influencing 20.6% of the variance (path coefficient=0.206, t-statistic=2.410, p-value=0.016). Price had a stronger positive relationship, influencing 65.4% of the variance (path coefficient=0.654, t-statistic=10.534, p-value=0.000). These results suggest that both product quality and price are essential factors to consider when seeking to improve sales and meet customer expectations in the honey market at PT Kembang Joyo Sriwijaya Malang.

Abstract

Lada merupakan salah satu komoditas ekspor yang termasuk dalam kategori cukup mendominasi kebutuhan pasar global. Negara Indonesia menjadi salah satu negara yang memiliki produk lada yang telah dikenal semenjak dahulu sebagai produk rempah utama yang dijual pada pasar global. Bahkan Asia Tenggara dikenal sebagai negara penghasil rempah untuk kebutuhan dunia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Trend dan faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi ekspor lada di Indonesia. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder dengan jenis data time series dari tahun 2012 hingga 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan model analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian analisis trend menunjukkan ekspor lada   berfluktuatif cenderung mengalami penurunan yang disebabkan oleh volume ekspor lada  menurun. Hasil (Uji F) menunjukan bahwa variabel nilai tukar rupiah terhadap dolar AS, luas lahan, harga internasional dan inflasi secara simultan berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap volume ekspor lada Indonesia. Hasil (Uji T) pada variabel nilai tukar rupiah terhadap Dolar AS dan inflasi berpengaruh secara negatif dan signifikan terhadap volume ekspor lada Indonesia, sedangkan luas lahan dan harga internasional berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap volume lada indonesia.Kata Kunci: Lada, ekspor, Trend

Abstract

Used cooking oil is household waste often thrown away without processing because it is considered to have no economic value. Used cooking oil waste from households that are not processed correctly will cause problems for the family's health and pollution of the surrounding environment. To overcome this problem, training activities were carried out on processing used cooking oil into an economically valuable product by making aromatherapy candles. After the training, participants understand the dangers of used cooking oil and understand the material on the use of used cooking oil. The training participants were able to make aromatherapy candles from used cooking oil. Participants have the skills to process used cooking oil into economically valuable aromatherapy candles, so they have the potential to foster an entrepreneurial spirit.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the income and factors - factors that affect the income of Tilapia in District Seginim South Bengkulu.This research was conducted in the District Seginim South Bengkulu, the location chosen for the township is central to the production of Tilapia. The method used is a survey method, the method of sampling stratified sampling samples taken Tilapia fish farmers as much as 25% of the population to elect 33 127 samples.The results showed that the average income of Tilapia fish farm in the district of South Bengkulu Seginim amounted Rp.7.465.295, - / period and the cost of feed factor (X3), cost of labor factor (X4) and factors of production (X6) effect highly significant revenue while swimming area (X1), seedlings Cost factors (X2), the price factor (X5) no real effect on revenue.
