Abstract

ABSTRACT Information Communication Technology has a significant impact on learning. ICT as a tool can be fully utilized in the concept of learning. Moreover, if the concept of learning in abstract form. The Internet can be a tool to develop concepts and create meaningful social studies learning. Learning resources are acquired and managed by advances in technology it is possible for students to learn the concepts of social science to be meaningful (meaningful), because with photographic images, documentary, animated or information presented to be more complete and detailed that it easily understood by students. Complex process can be simplified, faster process can be slowed, slow process can be accelerated without reducing substances subject matter. ICT can bring real experience into the classroom without having the students leave the classroom, so the real experience is in addition to creating meaningful learning will also develop social skills.Keywords: ICT, internet, social studies, meaningful learning

Abstract

ABSTRACTInfluences of globalization are getting felt together with the increasing of variety kinds of information providers in the form of press released or unreleased, broadcast or not broadcast, electronic or not electronic information providers, such as, newspaper, magazine, radio television, facsimiles, computer, internet, communication satellite. Improvement of technology of communication and information inclined to influence the condition of social aspect, economic aspect, culture, and also the condition of education. The applications of communication and information are giving the possibility to create global learning condition which is connected to the link that put students in the central of learning process and surrounded by many kinds of electronic learning source. Base on all of that, conventional education should be softer by accepting new style of learning which is completed by improved technology. We really need human beings, who can get along with the improvement of technology, who have knowledge of tools, source and process where knowledge is put as the central of the soul, comprehended and used in their live to increase the quality of work in the purpose of getting better prosperity in their life. The elements of human which are improved in the aspect of technology are power of thinking, power of heart, and physical power.Keywords: globalization, learning, communication and information technology

Abstract

The method of this research is survey method with causality approach. The population in this research were all the students at SMKN 62 Jakarta. The affordable population were all the 11th grade students of the office administration with total 63 students. Sampling techniques used was proportional random sampling, so the sample in this research is amounted 55 respondents. Data collecting technique, were used logging documents, interviews and questionnaires. To get the data results of the study, done by mid test of financial administration subject in 2nd semester, while learning readiness and learning motivation obtained by giving questionnaires to respondents. Data analysis technique used were the test requirement analysis consists of a normality test and lineariti test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression test, hypothesis test which consists of t-test and f-test. Based on the results of data analysis can be known that there are partially effect between learning readiness with learning outcomes. It can be seen from the results of data analysis which shows tcount 2,235 > ttable 1,675. Learning motivation partially effects on learning outcomes, it’s seen from the results of the data analysis that shows tcount 4,090> ttable 1,675. Learning readiness and learning motivation simultaneously effect on learning outcomes, it’s seen by data analysis that shows fcount 32,299 > ftable 3,175. The obtained regretion equation is . Based on determination of the coefficient test R2 is 0,554 that’s means learning readiness and learning motivation effects on learning outcomes amount 55,4%. Abstract

This research aims to determine whether there is influence between job involvement and job satisfaction toward turnover intention on employees of PT. Global Nikel Multiguna. This research was carried out for 3 months, started from February to May 2015. The method used is a survey method. The population in this research were all employees of PT. GLOBAL NIKEL MULTIGUNA, amounting 85 employees and researchers took samples used as many as 68 employees by using random sampling technique. The instrument used of obtain data on the variables X1 (Job Involvement), X2 (Job Satitisfaction), and Y (Turnover Intention) was measured using questionnaire with Likert scale for X1 and Y, and using semantic differentials for X2. Then the data was tested for the validity and reliability, analysis through multiple regression techniques and classical assumption. The hypothesis was tested with significant the margin of error of 0.05 using t-test and analysis of variance (ANOVA). The results showed siginificant relationship between job involvement and job satisfaction on turnover intention of employees with regression equation Ŷ = 122.353 – 0.561X1 – 0.198X2. from the analysis of data, obtaining Fcount is 27.442 > Ftable = 3.14. this means that the hypothesis that there is significant relationship between job involvement and job satisfaction on turnover intention ef employees received. Meanwhile, the coefficient of determination for R2 is 45.8% while remaining 54.2% is influence by other factors not examined. Based on the above results, it is advisable for the leader of the company to give freedom of speech to the employees and provide corresponds salary whose contribute in the company in order to surpress levels of turnover intention on employees at the company. Abstract

Abstract The potential of Cisaat Village as a tourism village is expected to open up many opportunities for the local community to earn a better income by providing the best service for tourists. The problem of partners in this activity is the lack of understanding and skills of residents related to grooming and presentation techniques, therefore the purpose of implementing this community service activity is to provide grooming training and presentation techniques for village communities as a support in business activities in the field of village tourism. The training method is selected and carried out in this service activity, using a socialization, training, and evaluation approach. Based on the evaluation that has been carried out, the results of community service indicate an increase in the skills and understanding of participants related to grooming (self-appearance) and presentation techniques for participants. The success of the training activities that have been carried out is also shown by the active participation of the audience such as interactions between resource persons and participants, discussions, and questions during the training process, besides that participants are also quite enthusiastic to participate if training activities are held from the team in the future. Abstrak Potensi Desa Cisaat sebagai desa wisata, diharapkan dapat membuka banyak kesempatan bagi Masyarakat setempat untuk mendapatkan penghasilan yang lebih baik lagi dengan memberikan pelayanan terbaik bagi para wisatawan. Permasalahan mitra dalam kegiatan ini yakni kurangnya pemahaman dan keterampilan warga terkait dengan grooming dan teknik Presentasi, oleh karena itu tujuan pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah memberikan pelatihan grooming dan teknik presentasi bagi masyarakat desa sebagai penunjang dalam kegiatan usaha dibidang pariwisata desa. Metode pelatihan dipilih dan dilaksanakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini, dengan menggunakan pendekatan sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan evaluasi. Berdasarkan evaluasi yang telah dilakukan, hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan keterampilan dan pemahaman peserta terkait dengan grooming (penampilan diri) dan teknik presentasi bagi peserta. Keberhasilan kegiatan pelatihan yang telah dilaksanakan juga ditunjukkan oleh adanya partisipasi aktif dari audiens seperti interaksi antara narasumber dan peserta, berdiskusi, dan bertanya selama proses pelatihan, selain itu peserta juga cukup antusias untuk mengikuti jika diadakan kegiatan pelatihan dari tim pada masa selanjutnya.
