Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the influence of protean career attitude toward proactive work behavior with passion for work and career self management as a mediators. The sample determination uses purposive sampling technique. There are 389 respondents used as the samples in this research and are analyzed using Structural Equation Model (SEM). The result from this research is that protean career attitude has a significant positive effect to proactive work behavior. Protean career attitude has a significant positive effect to the passion for work. Passion for work has a significant positive effect to proactive work behavior. Protean career attitude has a significant positive effect to career self management. Career self management has a significant positive effect to proactive work behavior. Protean career attitude has a significant effect to proactive work behavior through passion for work. Protean career attitude has a significant effect to proactive work behavior through career self management. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the influence of quality of work life on employee performance with work commitment as an intervening variable on employees of the millennial generation of PT head office. Port of Indonesia II (Persero). Determination of samples using Probability Sampling method with 160 respondents and analyzed using Structural Equation Model Partial Least Square (SEM PLS) analysis method. The results of the study showed that 1) the quality of work life has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, indicating that if the quality of work life in employees of the millennial generation of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) the better the employee performance will increase, 2) the quality of work life will have a positive and significant effect on work commitment, indicating that if the Quality of Work Life in employees of the millennial generation of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) the better then the employee's work commitment will increase , 3) work commitments have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, indicating that if the Work Commitment to millennial employees of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) is getting better then the Employee Performance will increase, and 4) the quality of work life on employee performance through work commitment has a positive and significant influence, showing an increase in the Work Commitment of millennial employees of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) able to mediate the influence of Quality of Work Life on Employee Performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this research to create the boder region of investment development model, the maritime industry investment development model and Free Trade Zone development model effect on increase the welfare of coastal communities.The research location is in the of Riau Islands Province at Batam, Bintan and Karimun in 2016 with 200 research data. Analysis of the research through modeling path diagram, goodness of fit test (GOF) and the test results prove that the model evaluation through feasibility test models of assessment criteria Goodness of Fit (GOF) proved to be a model drawn up by researchers is the model has fit so that the model is said to fit the observed data development investment has met the criteria GOF through the test. Analysis of the research through modeling path diagram, goodness of fit test (GOF) and the test results prove that the model evaluation through feasibility studies Goodness of Fit (GOF) proven models arranged by researchers is the model has fit so that the model is said to fit the observed data to develop investment meets the criteria GOF through Chi-square test, probability of> 0.05, CMIN / DF≤2,00, RMSEA≤0,08, GFI≥0,90, AGFI≥0,90, TLI≥0,90, NFI≥0,90, CFI≥ 0.95. The results of the research hypotheses prove that the investment development of boder region, maritime industry and Free Trade Zone significant effect on increase the welfare of coastal communities in Riau Islands Province at Batam, Bintan and Karimun.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between empowerment and job satisfaction in employees at PT. Batavia Bintang Berlian in Jakarta Timur. The research was carried out for 3 months from April 2014 to June 2014. The method used was a survey method with the correlation approach. The study population was all employees in the PT. Batavia Bintang Berlian Showroom Mitsubishi, amounting to 120 employees, and affordable population of this study is that employees are placed in marketing totaled 60 people. The samples are 51 respondents using proportional random sampling. To collect data from both variables, the instruments used for the variable X (Empowerment) and Y variables (Job satisfaction) is shaped questionnaire. Before use, test the construct validity (Construct Validity) through the validation process is the calculation of the correlation coefficient score points with the total score and reliability tests with Cronbach alpha formula. Result reliability of the instrument variable X (Empowerment) of 0,899 and instrument variable Y (Job satisfaction) of 0.936. The test requirements analysis was to find the regression equation obtained was Y = 37.32 + 0.717 X. Liliefors normality test results produced L count = 0.065 and L table = 0.124 at significance level (a) = 0.05 for the number of samples (n) = 51. Because L count = (0.065) < L table = (0.124) then the variables X and Y are normally distributed. Testing the hypothesis by testing the significance of regression produces F count= 37.40 > f table = (4.04), which means that the regression equation is significant. Linearity regression test produces F count = 0.72 and F table = 2.05 so F count < F table table it can be concluded that the model is a linear regression equation. Product moment correlation coefficient test result r count = 0.658. further test the significance of the correlation coefficient using t-test, yielding t count = (6.12) > t table = (1,68). Results of these studies concluded that there is a positive relationship between empowerment and job satisfaction in employees. With a coefficient of determination or determining test results obtained 43.29% job satisfaction variable (Y) is determined by the empowerment (X).

Abstract

Kekuatan suatu bangsa khususnya dalam proses pembangunan nasional tergantung kepada tingkat pendidikan masyarakatnya. Jadi sangat jelas bagi kita semua bahwa betapa pentingnya pendidikan bagi suatu bangsa di dunia ini, baik bangsa yang berasal dari masyarakat yang homogen maupun bangsa yang berasal dari masyarakat heterogen, multikultur dengan tingkat keragaman yang begitu tinggi seperti Indonesia. Bangsa Indonesia sebagai bangsa yang memiliki karakter dengan perbedaan yang sangat beragam dibangun dengan menciptakan semangat persatuan yang kokoh dan toleransi yang tinggi. Pembangunan peradaban bangsa harus didasari dengan pembangunan nilai-nilai moral di kalangan warga bangsa baik sebagai individu maupun kelompok. Nilai-nilai moral yang kokoh dan etika standar yang kuat amat diperlukan bagi warga bangsa untuk menghadapi tantangan-tantangan masa depan. Nilai-nilai moral suatu bangsa amat berkaitan erat dengan kekuatan bangsa itu sendiri.Melalui suatu sistem pendidikan nasional tumbuhlah semangat persatuan yang menjiwai keanekaragaman etnis, agama, budaya, sosial bahkan politik. Abstract

This research was aimed at describing the effect of cultural capital, education level of parents and income level of parents to academic achievement. In this research, the analysis use qualitative and quantitative. Qualitative analysis described in descriptive about cultural capital, education level of parents and income level of parents to academic achievement. The quantitative analysis used Logistic Regression. The Regression of research results show that: (1) cultural capital has a positive influence to academic achievement and the effect statistically significant. (2) education level of parents has a positive influence to academic achievement and the effect statistically significant. (3) income level of parents has a positive influence to academic achievement and the effect statistically significant.

Abstract

Training and compensation programs are provided by the company to motivate employees and improve employee performance. This study aims to analyze the effect of training and compensation on employee performance using motivation as mediation at PT. Servistama Pacific Sedana. This research uses a quantitative approach with the observation unit of all employees of PT. Sedana Pasifik Servistama and total sampling technique with a total of 110 respondents. The method used is a survey using a questionnaire and descriptive research type explanatory research. This research's data analysis method is the validity test, reliability test, and hypothesis test using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling). The results showed that training and compensation had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Motivation can mediate the effect of training on employee performance and motivation to mediate the effect of compensation on employee performance at PT. Servistama Pacific Sedana.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to reveal the effect of organizational culture and empowerment correlated to work engagement as an intervening variable in relations to general affairs quality serviceability in term of directly nor indirectly, as well as considering the adjusted strategy to enhance serviceability quality. This research uses survey method in quantitative research. The sum of this research is depicted from staff members of General Affairs at The Indonesian Foreign Affairs of The Republic of Indonesia. It is denoted as N = 307 staffs using Slovin Theory obtained n = 76. The technique in analyzing data used SPSS and LISREL. In the result of the research revealed that (1) the culture of an organization has a direct impact towards the quality of a service, (2) empowerment gives a direct positive impact on service quality, (3) work bonding also gives a positive reaction on a quality of a service, (4) moreover, an organizational culture response a straight positive outcome on a network, (5) empowerment also give a straightforward outcome on work bondage, (6) culture of an organization also gives a direct impact on empowerment, (7 ) the culture of an organization through empowerment results a positive impact on service quality, (8) culture of an organization through a work bondage gives a positive effect on service quality at General Affairs at The Indonesian Foreign Affairs of The Republic of Indonesia. Based on a hypothetical analysis it was discovered that an organizational culture has a high encounter on a service quality of 0,323 or 32,3%. Whereas a variable indirect impact resulted organizational culture had no direct impact on service quality through empowerment with the value of 0,509 or 50,9%. This result will be used as a testimony for the institution in order to maintain as well as elevate and expand the dimension and it’s indicator I order to increase service quality of General Affair’s staffs. Thus, can be concluded that in order to generate an optimal service quality among staffs, an organization necessitates to manufacture and uplift organizational culture, empowerment and work bond among the staffs.

Abstract

Abstract This study was conducted to identify the competencies of graduates FE UNJ waiting times based upon the profile of the work , the suitability of the first areas of work, salary and perceptions about the competence of the alumni corporation. This research is a qualitative study and the population are alumnies of the Faculty of Economics who working in government agencies, private and entrepreneur and graduated from the period 2011/2012 to 2012/2013. Sample of the population is set at 10 % of the total population, and using a technique comvenience sampling ( non probability sampling ). The data used in this study is primary data obtained from interviews and use the questionnaire instrument. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics by looking at the frequency distribution and the average of respondents’s answers regarding the competence of graduates of the Faculty of Economics UNJ. 92.8% of alumni of the Faculty of Economics working as employees of the company, 5.8 % be a teacher, others go to college and as entrepreneurs . The average waiting time for alumnies FE UNJ only takes waited less than 6 months to get a job. The level of salary received at the time of the first alumni of work varies with an average of 2-3 million by 49 % and between 3 million and above by 23 % . The level of compliance competencies and job average amounted to 77 % of alumni and competence of alumni based on the user 's perception was expressed by 71 % of alumni FE UNJ have a good competence. Abstract

Abstract This study aimed to evaluate the Compulsory Basic Education Programme period 2008-2011 in Jakarta and knew the extent of the success of the program, and formulate policy recommendations to improve this activity in the future . This study uses the CIPP evaluation process to assess whether the program is appropriate to proceed or not. From the research, it is seen that in the context of the stage success indicators compulsory education program, it can be concluded that the implementation of the law that underlies the program has not done well. Referring to the input stage of program success indicators compulsory education, it can be concluded that the population of school age enrolled in school at that level has been well absorbed. Referring to the indicators of the success of the process stages of compulsory education program, it can be concluded that the stage of the process is quite successful. As well as referring to the indicators of the success of the product phase of compulsory education program, it can be concluded that the stage of successful products, because its value at a high level of completeness that range from 94% -103 %.
