Abstract

Media pembelajaran yang selama ini digunakan masih memiliki kelemahan yaitu media tidak dapat digunakan belajar secara mandiri dan kurang menarik karna, hanya berupa gambar dan audio. sementara peserta didik pada tahapan kelas 3 sekolah dasar membutuhkan media yang dapat membuat mereka merasa tertarik dengan belajar salah satunya dengan menggunakan media yang menarik dan dapat digunakan belajar secara mandiri di rumah. Salah satu media yang dapat memudahkan peserta didik dalam memahami materi pembelajaran dan menumbuhkan minat belajarnya yaitu media video interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran video interaktif dengan menggunakan aplikasi sparkol videoscribe pada tema 3 kelas III. Untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan respon dari guru dan peserta didik terhadap media pembelajaran video interaktif dengan menggunakan aplikasi sparkol videoscribe. Penelitian dijalankan menggunakan Research & Development. Tahap validasi desain melibatkan empat orang subjek (dua orang ahli materi dan dua orang ahli media) dilibatkan untuk menilai kelayakan materi, kelayakan media dan kebahasaan. Tahap uji coba melibatkan 41 orang peserta didik (15 peserta didik uji coba kelompok kecil dan 26 peserta didik uji coba kelompok besar) dan 2 orang guru dilibatkan untuk melihat keefektifan video interaktif dengan menggunakan aplikasi sparkol videoscribe tersebut. Lembar validasi digunakan untuk melihat  kelayakan oleh para ahli. Sedangkan respon guru dan peserta didik dikumpulkan menggunakan angket. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif berbantuan Microsoft Excel 2007. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai kelayakan oleh ahli materi sangat baik (3,727) dan nilai kelayakan oleh ahli media sangat baik (3,6105) sedangkan nilai kelayakan oleh ahli nilai-nilai keislaman sangat baik (85,71%). Respon peserta didik sangat menarik (3,4733 uji coba kelompok kecil dan 3,5692 uji coba lapangan), respon uji coba guru sangat menarik (3,7085). Ini menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran video interaktif dengan menggunkan aplikasi sparkol videoscribe yang dihasilkan dalam penelitian ini dianggap layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran tema 3 kelas III.

Abstract

The aim of the research was to determine the effectiveness of the reciprocal learning method on volleyball passing skills in class V students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri. The research method uses a quasi- experiment with a posttest only control design . Data collection techniques using volleyball passing skills tests and documentation. Data analysis uses validity and reliability. Prerequisite analysis uses the normality test, homogeneity test, and t test. The results of research from hypothesis testing show that the posttest results of students in the experimental class obtained a score of 72 while those in the control class obtained a score of 62. The lowest score for the experimental class was 52 and the control class obtained a score of 47. The mean central tendency measure for the experimental class was 60.43 and for the control class amounting to 53.70. The size of group variation which includes the range for the experimental class is 20 and the control class is 15. Using the reciprocal learning method is more effective than the scientific learning model . It can be concluded that there is a difference in the effectiveness of volleyball passing skills using the reciprocal learning method and the average volleyball passing skills of students in the experimental group and the control group.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology in the 21st century demands students to master Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) to face global challenges. This study aims to develop a multimedia-based STEM learning tool to stimulate HOTS in physics, particularly renewable energy topics focusing on hydro and wind energy. The research employs the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate) to create and test the multimedia’s validity, practicality, and effectiveness. Data were collected using expert validation sheets, teacher and student questionnaires, and HOTS assessment tests. Results indicate that the multimedia is valid, practical, and effectively enhances students' HOTS. This study highlights the potential of STEM-based multimedia in providing engaging and meaningful learning experiences, particularly in abstract physics topics. These findings have implications for developing innovative learning strategies following the 2013 curriculum, emphasizing developing critical and creative thinking skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the use of electronic modules in improving learning motivation in mathematics subjects in elementary schools. The method used is qualitative with a bibliometric analysis approach. Documents collected from the Publish or Perish (PoP) application using the Google Scholar database are then combined into one file in RIS format and entered into the VOSviewer application. The initial number of articles retrieved was 1000 and then narrowed down to 100 articles for analysis. Data analysis is the search stage, filtering stage, and bibliometric analysis stage. The results of the study showed that the year of publication that published the most articles and journals was 2023 with a total of 59 publications, then when viewed from the publishing institution, Ganesha University of Education has the highest number of documents, namely 6 documents and 106 citations. Meanwhile, when viewed from the publisher who published, the Scientific Journal of Education and Learning has the most document publications along with the number of citations. When viewed from the author, Yunita Lastri received 87 citations, making it the highest among other publications. When viewed from the keywords, "Electronic Module (E-module)" recorded 81 occurrences, while the keyword "Electronic Module in Improving Learning Motivation," which recorded 16 occurrences. Through bibliometric analysis, it was found that there is a positive trend in publications related to e-modules, indicating increasing attention to the implementation of technology in education. E-modules not only provide interactive and interesting learning materials, but can also meet the diverse needs of students, thus encouraging their involvement in the learning process.

Abstract

The career readiness of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education (PGMI) students is a crucial factor in shaping competent educators in the field of education. This study aims to explore the implementation of instructional strategies to enhance the career readiness of PGMI students. A qualitative research method with a case study approach was employed, involving two classes of sixth-semester PGMI students at a university. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and academic document analysis. The findings indicate that practice-based learning strategies, such as microteaching, field experience practice (PPL), and project-based learning, significantly impact students' pedagogical competencies. Additionally, the integration of technology in the learning process helps students develop digital skills relevant to modern educational demands. Challenges in implementing these strategies include limited practical facilities, students' readiness to apply theoretical knowledge to practice, and the lack of a structured career development program. This study concludes that the implementation of more practical and experience-based learning strategies can enhance PGMI students' career readiness. Therefore, it is recommended that educational institutions strengthen collaborations with madrasahs and other educational institutions and develop more intensive training programs for students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of direct learning strategies with demonstration methods in physical education in developing students' motor skills in elementary schools. This research method uses a qualitative case study approach. The research subjects consisted of physical education, sports, and health teachers and fifth-grade students. Data were collected through interviews, participant observation, and documentation. Data analysis used Miles and Huberman which included data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity testing was carried out through triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of the study indicate that direct learning strategies with demonstration methods implemented systematically through providing clear examples of movements, repeated practice, and direct feedback are effective in improving the quality of students' motor skills, especially in the aspects of coordination, balance, and movement accuracy. In addition to impacting psychomotor aspects, the implementation of this strategy also improves students' affective aspects, such as self-confidence, courage to try, and active participation in learning. The research findings confirm that direct learning strategies based on demonstrations are in line with the developmental characteristics of elementary school students who are at the concrete operational stage, and are relevant as an effective and contextual approach to physical education learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran ECIRR (Elicit, Confront, Identify, Resolve, Reinforce) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran IPAS kelas V di MIS Al Hikmah Bandar Lampung. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang masih didominasi oleh metode pembelajaran konvensional seperti ceramah dan hafalan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis quasi eksperimen dan desain non-equivalent control group. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 60 siswa yang terdiri dari kelas VA sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VB sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi tes (pretest dan posttest), observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis pada kedua kelas, namun peningkatan pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Nilai rata-rata posttest kelas eksperimen mencapai 83,97, sedangkan kelas kontrol sebesar 83,77. Instrumen penelitian dinyatakan valid dan reliabel dengan nilai Cronbach’s Alpha sebesar 0,929. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa model ECIRR efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa karena mampu melibatkan siswa secara aktif dalam proses pembelajaran melalui tahapan yang sistematis dan konstruktivistik. Dengan demikian, model ECIRR dapat menjadi alternatif inovatif dalam pembelajaran IPAS untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the RORI Algorithm (Responsive–Observative–Reflective–Integrative), a four-stage therapeutic approach designed to help caregivers identify the needs of children with Cerebral Palsy (CP) and develop applicable home-based interventions. The research aimed to explore its application in educational services for children with CP in Lampung, Indonesia, and to assess its contribution in addressing the shortage of educators and promoting equitable access to inclusive education. The study was conducted from June to September 2024 in Bandar Lampung, South Lampung, and Pesawaran, with the main activities centered at Arrusydah II Kindergarten. Participants included children with CP, parents, teachers, and caregivers from the CP community, selected purposively and verified through observation. Findings indicate that the RORI Algorithm effectively stimulates cognitive functions, strengthens motor coordination, and enhances children’s participation in therapy and inclusive learning activities. The method offers adaptive interventions that support caregivers and reinforce inclusive education. The RORI Algorithm holds potential for broader application as a holistic approach to improving the quality of life for children with CP, with recommendations for further large-scale research.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Science and Social Studies (IPAS) learning in elementary schools is expected not only to facilitate conceptual understanding but also to foster students’ ability to evaluate information, construct logical arguments, and make reasoned decisions. In practice, however, critical thinking skills often remain underdeveloped because classroom activities tend to be teacher-centered, limiting students’ opportunities to engage with authentic problems and analytical discussions. This condition prompted the integration of socioscientific issues into IPAS instruction as a means of connecting scientific concepts with real-world situations relevant to students’ daily lives. The study involved 23 fifth-grade students selected through purposive sampling. Changes in students’ critical thinking skills were examined using an essay-based assessment developed according to Ennis’s critical thinking indicators. A quantitative approach employing a one-group pretest–posttest design was used to compare students’ performance before and after the learning intervention. The collected data were analyzed through descriptive statistics, paired-sample t-test, and N-Gain analysis. The findings revealed a noticeable improvement in students’ critical thinking skills following the implementation of socioscientific issue-based learning. Statistical testing indicated a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores, with a significance value of 0.001. The average N-Gain score reached 0.4720, which falls within the moderate improvement category. Beyond enhancing critical thinking, the learning approach also encouraged students to develop a more contextual, active, and reflective understanding of IPAS concepts. These results suggest that integrating socioscientific issues into elementary school instruction offers a promising alternative for supporting the development of students’ critical thinking abilities. ABSTRAK Pembelajaran IPAS di sekolah dasar tidak hanya ditujukan untuk menguasai konsep, tetapi juga untuk melatih peserta didik menilai informasi, mengemukakan alasan, dan mengambil keputusan secara rasional. Kenyataannya, keterampilan berpikir kritis masih belum berkembang secara optimal karena aktivitas belajar lebih banyak didominasi oleh guru sehingga kesempatan siswa untuk menganalisis permasalahan nyata menjadi terbatas. Situasi tersebut mendorong penerapan isu sosiosaintifik sebagai konteks pembelajaran yang menghubungkan materi IPAS dengan persoalan yang dekat dengan kehidupan peserta didik. Penelitian ini melibatkan 23 siswa kelas V yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Perubahan kemampuan berpikir kritis diamati melalui tes esai yang disusun berdasarkan indikator Ennis. Data yang diperoleh dibandingkan antara kondisi sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran dengan pendekatan kuantitatif menggunakan desain one-group pretest-posttest. Analisis dilakukan melalui statistik deskriptif, paired sample t-test, dan perhitungan N-Gain. Hasil pengukuran menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis setelah siswa mengikuti pembelajaran berbasis isu sosiosaintifik. Perbedaan skor sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan terbukti signifikan dengan nilai signifikansi 0,001. Tingkat peningkatan yang diperoleh berada pada kategori sedang dengan rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 0,4720. Selain memperkuat kemampuan berpikir kritis, pembelajaran ini juga mendorong siswa memahami konsep IPAS secara lebih kontekstual, aktif, dan reflektif. Temuan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa integrasi isu sosiosaintifik layak dipertimbangkan sebagai alternatif strategi pembelajaran untuk mendukung pengembangan keterampilan berpikir kritis di sekolah dasar.
