Abstract

Abstract: In Japanese, sentence-ending particles yo and ne appeared frequently to show the speaker's atitude. This study explains the use and meanings of the sentence-ending particles of yo and ne based on Information Territory Theory that introduce by Kamio Akio (1990). The result of this research, yo is used on information that the territory of the speaker and the territory of the listener. The final particle yo is used when conveying information and requesting information. Ne is used on information that the territory of the speaker and listener. Futhermorethe, ne also used on exists in both of the speaker and listener, but only partially in territory speaker and that the listener. Ne is used when asking for confirmation and asking for certainty. In other words, information for listeners and speakers is influenced by the information territory.Key Words: Sentence Ending Particles, Information Territory Theory, Meanings

Abstract

Abstract: This study sought to determine the results of questionnaires and interviews students about the application of media power point on the course Bunpou 1 auxiliary word material numbers~tsu、~hon、~ko、~hai. This study aims to determine students' responses on the application of media power point, namely, the positive things that earned the student, and the constraints faced by the students to the application of media power point. The population in this study were students Level 1 Japanese Language Education Universitas Riau as many as 30 people. Descriptive qualitative method used in this study so that in this study only explain, describe and explain the data obtained.From the analysis of the data can be found: 1) based on the results of the questionnaire, 83.3% of respondents answered that the students can be helped with the implementation of media power point in the course bunpou 1 and 96.7% of students can be motivated to learn bunpou 1 in the presence of media power point,2) a student can gain a positive thing when applying media power point on the course bunpou 1 form of increased student interest in following the lectures, the students add to the understanding of the presented material, power point display media were nice and interesting, and3) the constraints faced by students when the application is media power point presentation of Sound (Sound) contained on media power point is less clear.This research can be used as a teaching medium that can help and support in the course bunpou 1. Based on the research results that have been obtained,it is expected to further research the application of media power point of time in order to prepare the media better and better presentation of her voice again.Key Words: Bunpou1, student feedback, positive things, constraints, media power point

Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this research was to find out is there any significant effect of using audiovisual media toward essay writing ability on the Japanese students level II FKIP university of Riau. The research was experimental research which used one group pretest posttest design. The object of this research was Japanese students level II class B of FKIP university of Riau consisting of 30 students on experiment class. The technique sampling of this research was purposive sampling and the technique collecting data was test. The given tests were Japanese essay writing assessment about My Town or watashi no machi. This research used two of test were pretest and posttest. To analyze the data the researcher used SPSS 22 version. Based on data analysis, for average of students’ pretest was 55 and the average of students’ posttest increased amount 25.1 to be 80.1. it show that there is significant effect of using audiovisual media toward students Japanese essay writing ability on the students level II of Japanese education department of Riau university.Key Words: sakubun , audiovisual , writing ability

Abstract

Abstract: Speculative darō is a sub category of epistemic modality which discusses about belief or disbelief in the speaker’s attitude towards a certain proposition that is frequently translated as mungkin in Indonesian. This research explains about the function and the meaning of speculative darō and its equivalent in Indonesian based on the theory of Heiko Narrog (2009) and Hasan Alwi (1992). The methods used is distributional method. The result, speculative darō is used to convey the conclusion and belief of the speaker, to express the speaker’s hyphothesis of the subject’s action and situation, to express a yet to be concluded subjective possibility and speculation. The meaning of speculative darō is there in ‘kepastian’ with the prepositional form (saya merasa yakin and saya merasa pasti), and adverb (pasti, tentunya and tentu); ‘keteramalan’ with the prepositional form (menurut pendapat saya and menurut hemat saya), adverb (kelihatannya), main verb (saya pikir); ‘kemungkinan’ with adverb (mungkin, dapat saja, bisa saja, bisa jadi, boleh jadi).Key Words: Speculative Darō, Function and Meaning, Equivalent

Abstract

Abstract: Japanese language has a sentence final particle used as auxiliary word that explain the sentences delivered by speaker includes the opinions, questions and feeling of the speaker to the listener.Japanese language has a variety of shuujoshi like ka, yo, ne, na, zo, ze and so on. This study examines the functions of shuujoshi yo and equivalents in Indonesian. This study aims to describe the function and know the equivalents of shuujoshi yo. This research uses Niji No Shounen Tachi as a source of data which the Niji No Shounen Tachi is a Japanese translation novel translated by Hiroaki Kato from the Indonesian language novel titled Laskar Pelangi by Andrea Hirata. For data collection using the refer method with basic tapping techniques and to explain the function and know the equivalent used translational equivalent method. Based on the results of theanalysis it was found that the function of the shuujoshi yo to deny dissent’s different opinion from oneself, reminding something that the listener forgot and convey something that the listener does not know and realize. From the three functions, it can be concluded that the appearance of shuujoshi yo is based on the assumption that there is a mismatch of information and knowledge between the speaker and the listener. Shuujoshi yo which is used in sentence demands such as commands, prohibitions, requests and socialization are based on the conflict assumption between the speaker and the listener. Shuujoshi yo that appears in Japanese novels is partially paires with the form –lah, -kah, and the most do not have and equivalents in form or word.KeyWords: Shuujoshi, Yo, Equivalent, Function

Abstract

Abstrack : This study discusses about the translation of greeting word in the novel “Niji No Shounen Tachi” which is translated from the novel of Laskar pelangi. The Purpose of this study is to determine the method of translation and the procedures in translating the greeting words on the novel. The data is the entire word greeting contained in novel translation, and the greeting words between speaker and listener. This research is qualitative descriptive word translation which interpret greeting studied based on the theory of Peter Newmark (1988). The method is not only noted the use of verbal language but also the use of language of writing. After reading the greeting words contained in the novel of Laskar Pelangi, then the researcher look for the same data on novel translation in Niji No Shounen Tachi. After getting the data, the researchers analyze it by using the thoery of translation by Peter Newmark (1988). The result of this research gains from semantic translation method, communicative translation method, literal translation and adaptation. While the procedure of the translation use free modulation, analysis componen, shift, functional equivalent, cultural equivalent, reduction and expansion, and transference.Key Word : Translation, Greeting Word.

Abstract

Abstarct: This study described the types and contexts of using illocutionary act by using uzai that used to curse in the Drama of Yankee-kun to Megane-chan. The use of a speech has a purpose not only to express something, but also to do something or action. It is in pragmatic known as the illocutionary act. Drama of Yankee-kun to Megane-chan by Miki Yoshikawa originally in the form of a manga, then made in drama, and aired on April 23, 2010 until June 25, 2010 on Japanese TV station TBS. The theory used in this study is the types of illocutionary acts by Searle (1979) and theory of usage context by using theory of Dell Hymes (1964) with qualitative descriptive approach. The result of this research are (1) found speech that using word "uzai" with the terms of illocutionary act as much as 11 data, 2 data including assertive illocutionary act, 7 data including directive illocutionary act, and 2 data including expressive illocutionary act. Abstract

Abstract: This study discusses about analysis of -ta and -teiru as a marker of aspects of Japanese and equivalents in Indonesian. The purpose of this study is to find out what different of Ta and -teiru and the corresponding equivalent in Indonesian. The data of this study are sentences in the form of –ta and –teiru from Kimi no Nawa and Nihongo Bunkei Ziten. This study uses the translational equivalent method and the determining element sorting technique. The results of this study indicate that the types of verbs found in the form sentences –ta and –teiru are stative verbs, movement verbs, and continuative verbs and verb types affect the type of aspect. The meaning of the aspects carried by the form -ta and -teiru is durative, intensive, accumulative, commututive, and progressive. Match corresponding to each sentence can be interpreted with a moderate, middle, again, has been, is and has been, or could be interpreted as meaning of the verb itself. However, not all forms of Ta and -teiru can be paired with a moderate, middle, again, it's been, are, or have been for the type of verbs also affect whether the verb can be paired with a moderate, middle or longer. Affixation ter- and ber- on hirogatteiru verb 'lie' and hikatteiru 'glowing' also affects the type of verb.Key Words: Aspects, verbs, equivalents

Abstract

Abstract : Effectiveness of Scramble Technique in Learning Japanese Vocabulary on Students Grad XI IPS Senior High School 2 Teluk Kuantan This study is discusses about the effectiveness of scramble learning technique in learning Japanese vocabulary on students of Senior High School 2 Teluk Kuantan. The purpose of this study is to know the significant difference between the learning outcomes of students who use scramble learning and who do not use scramble learning. Object of this study is the students grade XI IPS Senior High School 2 Teluk Kuantan. The object of this study is consisting of 2 classes, XI IPS I and XI IPS II. This is a quasi-experiment study. The quasi-experiment design used in this study is pretest-post test design, conducted on 2 classes : experiment class and control class. The data collection technique done with doing test. Test are pretest and post test to know student's ability of Japanese in learning Japanese vocabulary before and after given treatment. The result of this pretest and post test is processed by using statistical test with t formula manually. Based on data process, obtained value t hitung 7.95 > t tabe 1.68,which means there are significant difference between the learning outcomes of students who use the scramble learning technique and who do not use scramble learning technique in learning Japanese vocabulary on the students grad XI IPS of Senior High School 2 Teluk Kuantan.Key words : Vocabulary Learning, Scramble Learning Technique, Students grad XI IPS of Senior High School 2 Teluk Kuantan.

Abstract

Abstract: This research discusses about Picture and Picture method on Japanese Vocabulary Lesson for the class X Students of Pintar Senior High School in TalukKuantan. The aim of this research is to know the significant difference between the study result of students who used picture and picture as learning method for Japanese Vocabulary and students who did not. The object of this research was the Class X Students of Pintar Senior High School in TalukKuantan. There are two class that used as object of this research i.e XA and XB. This research is a quasy experimental research with pretest posttest design.This design was conducted in two class, with XA as control class and XB as experimental class. The type of data collection technique in this research is giving a test.The test consisted of two types, namely pretest and posttest.These tests were conducted to compare the students’ Japanese vocabulary skills before and after being given treatment.Based on the result of Independent Sample t test, it was found that the significance value (sig) (2-tailed) was 0,000 < 0.005. It means that there is a significant difference between the study result of students who used picture and picture as learning method for Japanese Vocabulary and students who did not. In other word, Picture and Picture method is effective to improve Japanese vocabulary skill of class X students in Pintar Senior High School TalukKuantanKey Words: Vocabulary, Picture and Picture Method, Cooperative Learning
