Abstract

Abstrak. Pada penelitian yang dilakukan oleh Setiawan dkk, menyatakan bahwa metode loss distribution approach dengan pendekatan kernel density estimation mampu menghasilkan nilai economic capital yang lebih efisien sebesar 1,6% - 3,2% dibandingkan dengan pendekatan distribusi probabilitas tertentu. Fungsi kernel yang digunakan dalam penelitian tersebut adalah kernel Gaussian dengan pertimbangan dapat memberikan visual grafik yang lebih mulus dibandingkan visual grafik yang dihasilkan oleh fungsi kernel lainnya, seperti Uniform, Epanechnikov, dan Segitiga. Padahal tidak ada jaminan bahwa grafik yang lebih mulus dapat memberikan hasil economic capital yang lebih efisien. Oleh karena itu, akan dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut yang bertujuan 1) menghitung nilai economic capital menggunakan loss distribution approach dengan pendekatan kernel density estimation yang menggunakan fungsi kernel Gaussian, Uniform, Epanechnikov, dan Segitiga, 2) membandingkan nilai-nilai economic capital yang dihasilkan dengan cara uji perbedaan rata-rata. Perhitungan nilai economic capital dilakukan melalui simulasi komputasi berbasis bahasa pemrograman python. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada nilai economic capital yang dihasilkan. Oleh karena itu, pemilihan fungsi kernel yang tepat sangat diperlukan agar dapat memberikan nilai economic capital yang lebih efisien.Kata kunci: economic capital, kernel density estimation, dan fungsi kernel Abstract. In the research conducted by Setiawan, et al stated that loss distribution approach method with kernel density estimation approach can produce more efficient economic capital values of 1.6% - 3.2% compared to certain probability distribution approaches. The kernel function used in the research is the Gaussian kernel with the consideration that it can provide graphics that are smoother than visual graphics produced by other kernel functions, such as Uniform, Epanechnikov, and Triangle. Whereas there is no guarantee that a smoother graph can provide more efficient economic capital results. Therefore, further research will be carried out with the aim of 1) calculating the value of economic capital using a loss distribution approach with a kernel density estimation approach that uses Gaussian, Uniform, Epanechnikov, and Triangle kernel functions, 2) comparing the values of economic capital produced with average difference test method. Calculation of the value of economic capital is done through computational simulations based on the python programming language. The results showed that there were significant differences in the value of economic capital generated. Therefore, choosing the right kernel function is very necessary in order to provide more efficient economic capital values.Keyword: economic capital, kernel density estimation, dan kernel function

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the level of mathematical communication ability of students in learning that uses a scientific approach, find out the mistakes that are often made by students and which are the causes of students making mistakes. The subjects in this study were students of class XI MIPA 3 MAN 1 Cianjur. This research method is descriptive qualitative and the instruments used consist of tests of mathematical communication ability and interviews. The results of this study are students' mathematical communication ability in explaining ideas, situations, and mathematical relationships in writing with real objects, pictures, graphics and algebra by 34%. Mathematical communication ability of students in explaining ideas, situations, and mathematical relationships in writing with real objects, pictures, graphics and algebra by 25%. The ability of students' mathematical communication in expressing everyday events in language or mathematical symbols or composing a mathematical model of an event is 30%. Mistakes that are often made by students in this study are concept errors, operating errors, and lack of accuracy. As for what causes students to make mistakes is due to factors of forgetfulness, lack of accuracy, difficulty in learning and less study time at home.

Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 memberikan dampak yang serius di sektor ekonomi. Sekitar 47 persen UMKM berhenti usaha diakibatkan turunnya omset penjualan. Berbeda dengan bidang ekonomi lain yang mengalami penurunan omset, bisnis ikan cupang hias mencatatkan hal sebaliknya. Peningkatan omset mencapai 70% dirasakan para peternak ikan cupang hias selama pandemi ini. Mengingat akhir pandemi yang tidak bisa diprediksi maka jenis bisnis ini sangat menarik untuk dicoba oleh masyarakat. Permasalahan utama yang muncul adalah minimnya pengetahuan masyarakat akan ikan cupang hias. Maka pemberian pelatihan budidaya ikan cupang hias dan cara pemasarannya menjadi solusi yang sangat efektif. Kegiatan pelatihan dilakukan langsung di lokasi peternak ikan cupang hias yang ada di Cianjur agar masyarakat mudah menyerap materi yang disampaikan. Selain memberikan materi pelatihan, masyarakat juga dibekali sepasang indukan ikan cupang hias sebagai modal untuk mencoba melakukan budidaya di rumah masing-masing. Hasilnya beberapa masyarakat sudah dapat melakukan budidaya sampai dengan tahap menetaskan telur ikan cupang hias, sedangkan untuk pembesaran masih memerlukan waktu yang lebih lama sekitar 3 bulan. Selain itu, budidaya kutu air sebagai pakan alami ikan cupang hias pun sudah bisa dilakukan. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil dari kegiatan ini adalah budidaya ikan cupang hias ini dapat memberikan alternatif usaha tambahan guna menambah pendapatan masyarakat dan melalui budidaya ini beberapa jenis usaha baru yang berkaitan dengan ikan cupang hias menjadi bermunculan

Abstract

The emergence of the Covid-19 outbreak has had a huge impact on various social activities. The implementation of health protocols is an absolute thing that must be done by the community in every activity to suppress the spread of the epidemic. However, the facts on the ground are that there are still many people who ignore this. One way to overcome this is by conducting counseling. The extension system used is door-to-door counseling, this strategy is used to prevent crowds and to increase the effectiveness of delivering materials. The program was implemented in Selahuni Village, Nagrak Village, Cianjur District, Cianjur Regency. The purpose of this program is to increase public awareness about the implementation of health protocols, to remind the dangers of Covid-19, and to provide information about the importance of Covid-19 vaccination. The stages of the program are socialization, counseling, distribution of masks, pasting posters, and evaluation. As a result, public awareness about the discipline of health protocols has increased, people have knowledge about the dangers of Covid-19, and people have more awareness to participate in the Covid-19 vaccination program. Hopefully this program can support the government's program to make Indonesia free from Covid-19.

Abstract

AbstrakTeori bilangan merupakan cabang matematika yang mempelajari sifat-sifat dan hubungan dari suatu bilangan bulat. Untuk dapat memahami materi teori bilangan dengan baik maka dibutuhkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah yang baik pula. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika mahasiswa pada mata kuliah teori bilangan. Subjek penelitian yaitu 26 mahasiswa program studi pendidikan matematika, FKIP, Universitas Suryakancana tingkat I tahun ajaran 2017-2018. Data penelitian yang dikaji adalah lembar jawaban mahasiswa pada Ujian Tengah Semester tahun ajaran 2017-2018. Dengan metode deskriptif kuantitatif, didapatkan hasil secara umum yang menerangkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah mahasiswa program studi pendidikan matematika FKIP Universitas Suryakancana dapat dikategorikan “cukup” (64,62%). Lebih rinci, kemampuan mahasiswa dalam merencanakan penyelesaian masalah dapat dikategorikan “baik”, dengan persentase 74,62% namun sayangnya kemampuan dalam melakukan pengecekan kembali adalah yang paling lemah, dapat dikategorikan “kurang” dengan persentase 54,62%. Hal ini yang nantinya akan menjadi dasar evaluasi dalam perbaikan pembelajaran. College Students’ Problem-Solving Skills Analysis on Number Theory CourseAbstractNumber theory is a branch of mathematics that studies the properties and relationships between an integer. Understanding the material studied in number theory well also requires good mathematical problem-solving skills. This research aims to determine college students' problem-solving skills in a number theory course. The research subjects were 26 students in the mathematics education program, FKIP, Suryakancana University level I in the 2017-2018 school year. The research data used is the student answer sheet in the Middle Semester Examination in the 2017-2018 school year. By the quantitative descriptive method, the results of the research were that the problem-solving skills of students, in the mathematics education program, FKIP, Suryakancana University, can be categorized as fair (64.62%). Specifically, the students’ skill to plan problem-solving can be categorized as good (74.62%) but the validating conclusion is the weakest one that can be categorized as poor (54.62%). This will underlie the evaluation in improving learning.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Pandemi Covid-19 telah memaksa berbagai sektor melakukan perubahan. Berbagai cara perlu dilakukan, salah satunya dengan membuat video pembelajaran. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah memberikan wawasan dan pengetahuan tentang model pembelajaran sekaligus media sumber pembelajaran masa pandemi, memperkenalkan dan mendampingi Modul/LKS Online Berbasis Aplikasi Google Kuis kepada para guru matematika di SMA Negeri 1 Pacet Cianjur, dan membantu meningkatkan kualitas dan profesionalitas guru matematika dalam mengajar sesuai masa pandemi. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan sosial. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada 4-30 April 2021 di SMAN 1 Pacet Cianjur. Sosialisasi dan Workshop Modul/LKS online berbasis aplikasi google kuis. Sebanyak 9 dosen dan 5 mahasiswa yang terlibat dalam kegiatan ini. Kegiatan pelaksanaan dilakukan dalam 3 tahap antara lain persiapan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi dan pelaporan. Hasilnya, berdasarkan validasi para pakar dan praktisi dapat disimpulkan 71,4 % modul/LKS layak digunakan di lapangan, dari 10 siswa yang sudah mencoba modul/LKS online respon sebagian besar baik/mudah dalam modul/LKS online untuk belajar, dan 6 siswa merespon positif bahwa modul ini bisa dalam mendorong kemandirian belajar siswa.ABSTRACTThe Covid-19 pandemic has forced various sectors to make changes. Various ways need to be done, one of which is by making learning videos. The purpose of this activity is to provide insight and knowledge about learning models as well as media learning resources during the pandemic, introduce and accompany the Google Quiz Application-Based Online Module/LKS to mathematics teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Pacet Cianjur, and help improve the quality and professionalism of mathematics teachers in teaching according to the pandemic. The implementation method used is a social approach. The activity was held on April 4-30 2021 at SMAN 1 Pacet Cianjur. Dissemination and Workshop on online modules/LKS based on the Google Quiz application. A total of 9 lecturers and 5 students were involved in this activity. Implementation activities are carried out in 3 stages including preparation, implementation, evaluation, and reporting. As a result, based on the validation of experts and practitioners, it can be concluded that 71.4% of the modules/LKS are suitable for use in the field, out of 10 students who have tried the online modules/LKS the responses are mostly good/easy in online modules/LKS for learning, and 6 students respond positively that this module can encourage student learning independence.

Abstract

Mathematical representation ability is one of the important abilities of learning mathematics. This study aims to determine whether the increase in the mathematical representation ability of students who receive learning using GeoGebra is better than students who receive learning using ordinary learning. The research method used is a quasi-experimental method with the design form The Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population of this research is the students of class X SMK PGRI 1 Tourism Cianjur. Involving a sample of 31 students from two classes selected through purposive sampling technique. Class X Catering and Dressing as an experimental class and class X Banking as a control class. The instrument used is a test instrument in the form of pretest and posttest to measure the ability of mathematical representation and non-test in the form of an attitude scale questionnaire. Analysis of quantitative data in this study using SPSS 24. The results of the analysis show that the improvement of mathematical representation skills using GeoGebra is better than mathematical representation skills using ordinary learning. And students like the use of GeoGebra in learning mathematics.

Abstract

Learning mathematics becomes difficult learning and is not in demand by students. faced by At-Taqwa Islamic Junior High School students on algebraic material, especially in understanding concepts. Teachers have not provided meaningful experiences in their learning through a mathematical approach to local culture. Implementation methods used: 1) Preparation, 2) Implementation, and 3) Evaluation. The results of the implementation of the Student Response Questionnaire Data Analysis on Learning with the Application of the Cianjur Culture-Based Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model stated that the student's response was positive because the average proportion of student responses in each aspect was 99% and this met the predetermined criteria.

Abstract

ABSTRAKSale Roll Nazario merupakan salah satu produk unggulan kecamatan Cikalongkulon karena memiliki keunikan tersendiri. Meskipun sudah 10 tahun produksi, produk Sale Roll Nazario belum mampu menembus pasar nasional. Kondisi tersebut disebabkan oleh 1) belum terpenuhinya persyaratan edar nasional, 2) kemasan yang tidak menarik, 3) proses pembuatan sale masih bergantung pada cuaca, 4) baru membuat 1 varian, 5) sistem pemasaran yang masih konvensional. PKM ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk mengedukasi salah satu pelaku Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) yang berdomisili di Cikalongkulon Kabupaten Cianjur Provinsi Jawa Barat melalui kegiatan penyuluhan menggunakan prosedur: 1) identifikasi masalah, 2) perencanaan program, 3) implementasi program, dan monitoring program. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat telah diedukasi tentang 1) pemenuhan persyaratan edar nasional. Di antaranya cara memiliki PIRT, memiliki sertifikat Halal, dan informasi kadaluarsa, 2) cara membuat kemasan yang menarik, 3) membuat berbagai varian, 5) mengubah sistem pemasaran konvensional menjadi digital. Kata Kunci: omset; peningkatan; penyuluhan; UMKM; ABSTRACTSale Roll Nazario is one of the superior products of the Cikalongkulon sub-district because it has its own uniqueness. Even though it has been in production for 10 years, the Sale Roll Nazario product has not been able to penetrate the national market. This condition was caused by 1) the national distribution requirements had not been met, 2) the packaging was unattractive, 3) the sales process was still dependent on the weather, 4) only 1 variant had been made, 5) the marketing system was still conventional. This PKM was carried out with the aim of educating one of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) domiciled in Cikalongkulon, Cianjur Regency, West Java Province through counseling activities using the following procedures: 1) problem identification, 2) program planning, 3) program implementation, and program monitoring. The results of the service show that the community has been educated about 1) fulfilling national distribution requirements. Abstract

ABSTRAK Dengan terjadinya gempa bumi yang cukup banyak merusak fasilitas pendidikan di daerah Cianjur, kegiatan pembelajaran yang dilakukan di satuan Pendidikan menjadi tidak efektif, serta banyak siswa yang kehilangan motivasi untuk belajar. Karena pendidikan adalah komponen penting yang harus terus dipertahankan untuk menciptakan generasi penerus yang berkualitas, maka dengan demikian dilakukan pembelajaran yang efektif dan inovatif, serta mampu memotivasi siswa khususnya pada pelajaran matematika. Tujuan dari artikel ini adalah untuk menjelaskan seberapa efektif model pembelajaran quantum pada kemampuan numerasi siswa kelas V SDN Girimukti yang terdampak gempa Cianjur setelah mengimplementasikan model pembelajaran quantum. Kegiatan pembelajaran dilakukan pada 30 Januari sampai 3 Februari tahun 2023 terhadap siswa kelas V SDN Girimukti terkait numerasi. Kegiatan ini melibatkan tiga dosen dan tiga siswa. Proses pelaksanaan dilakukan dalam tiga tahap: persiapan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, dan pelaporan. Hasil analisis data yang diperolah menunjukkan rata-rata keefektifan implementasi model pembelajaran quantum sebesar 99% berdasarkan angket respon siswa. Ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran quantum efektif untuk mengajarkan numerasi kepada siswa di SDN Girimukti Cianjur yang terkena dampak gempa dan layak untuk diimplementasikan pada saat kegiatan pembelajaran.ABSTRACTFollowing the occurrence of an earthquake in the Cianjur area that severely destroyed educational facilities, learning activities carried out in the Education unit became ineffective, and many students lost their motivation to study. Because education is a crucial component that needs to be continued indefinitely to produce quality future generations, effective and innovative learning is carried out, and can motivate students, especially in mathematics. This article aims to describe the effectiveness of the quantum learning model on the numeracy of fifth-grade students at SDN Girimukti who were affected by the Cianjur earthquake after implementing the quantum learning model. Learning activities are carried out from January 30 to February 3 2023 for fifth-grade students at SDN Girimukti regarding numeracy. 3 lecturers and 3 students were involved in this activity. There are three phases to implementation activities: planning, carrying out, assessing, and reporting. The results show that the average effectiveness of implementing the quantum learning model is 99% based on the students’ response questionnaires. It shows that the quantum learning model to teach numeracy of students is affected by the earthquake at SDN Girimukti Cianjur is effective and feasible to implement during learning activities.
