Abstract

This study aims to explore cultural entropy in higher education institutions, with a focus on understanding its impact on employee performance and organizational dynamics. The research investigates factors influencing cultural entropy, the relationship with leadership, and parallels with healthcare settings. Conducted as a systematic literature review, this research employs a bottom-up approach, reviewing articles from Scopus, Emerald, and Google Scholar (2010-2023). The analysis includes factors contributing to cultural entropy, leadership styles, and the impact on organizational performance in higher education. The findings reveal that cultural entropy in higher education is influenced by factors such as bureaucratic excess, unclear communication, and limited employee engagement. Transformational leadership emerges as a crucial factor in addressing cultural entropy, emphasizing the need for leaders who can instigate positive change and foster a culture of continuous learning. The research is limited by the relatively small body of literature on cultural entropy in higher education. Further research is needed to explore tailored approaches for diverse academic contexts and to develop specific interventions for mitigating cultural entropy in educational settings. The study underscores the importance of proactive leadership in managing cultural entropy. Higher education institutions can benefit from strategies inspired by successful interventions in healthcare settings. Implementing policies and supports to address employee stress and cultural entropy can contribute to a more balanced and sustainable work environment. This study contributes to the limited body of literature on cultural entropy within educational institutions, shedding light on its unique manifestations and challenges. The exploration of parallels between healthcare and academia provides a novel perspective, emphasizing the distinct dynamics at play in educational settings. The study encourages further investigation into tailored approaches for addressing cultural entropy in diverse academic contexts.

Abstract

Possession of halal certification does not necessarily ensure that SMEs have high halal compliance. Halal compliance is important to ensure the quality of SME products, including their service products. This study analyzes SME halal compliance in the implementation of service operations management. Descriptive and verification methods are used to test the hypothesis using regression. Some SMEs in Indonesia which are in the food and beverage processing industry sector already have halal standard criteria, although some have not yet received halal certification. Other business sectors are not yet halal certified because they still feel it is not urgent. There is an influence between halal compliance and the implementation of service operations management. The service operations management system model refers to effective, efficient and productive fundamentals, which are efforts not to deviate from other than what has been prescribed by Islam.

Abstract

Abstract. The thesis is the final responsibility of students who have entered their final semester and is included in Academic Achievement. UNISBA students from the 2017 and 2018 classes have gone through the COVID-19 pandemic phase and the new normal phase where the pandemic situation is improving. The phenomenon of studying while working can also cause students to not be able to complete their studies, which take an average of four years, for more than the specified time due to an imbalance in managing time and also the emergence of work stress, so that one of the student's activities is left behind, be it lecture activities. as well as a decline in student performance while working. In this research, simple regression analysis acts as a statistical technique used to test whether there is an influence of Time Management on Job Stress, the influence of Time Management on Academic Achievement and the Correlation between Job Stress and Academic Achievement. The research results state that time management has a negative relationship with work stress and a positive relationship between time management and academic achievement as well as a lack of correlation between work stress and academic achievement. It is recommended that students re-arrange what they have to do, prioritizing the obligation to consult with study programs related to academic activities so that they can be completed on time so that the students and the university do not suffer losses. Abstrak. Skripsi merupakan tanggung jawab akhir mahasiswa yang sudah memasuki semester akhir yang termasuk ke dalam Prestasi Akademik . Abstract

Abstract. In Indonesia, the automotive industry is still the pillar of the manufacturing sector. However, the automotive industry faces major challenges, especially in developing environmentally friendly automotive products and supply chains for domestic and global needs. The EV supply chain is becoming more challenging to mass-produce. This research will develop a model that will lead to a lean supply chain in the EV industry in Indonesia as an effort to develop EV in the world. Qualitative descriptive research with a case study approach is used in this study. Case studies on five companies in the EV industry in Indonesia were selected for investigation by collecting various kinds of information from annual reports and other literature which were then processed to obtain a solution so that the problems revealed could be resolved. Lean supply chain management systems are able to add value for customers and for the business and are customer driven. In addition to developing the supply chain on the production side, the accessibility of electricity supply must also be considered when EVs are widely used by the public. Abstract

Realizing sustainable finance practices towards a zero-carbon emission economy requires support and participation from all stakeholders, especially regulators from an institutional perspective. Sustainable finance is crucial in driving transformative economic growth towards sustainability. This study aims to scrutinizes the appropriate institutional elements that can bolster sustainable finance initiatives within Indonesia and the European Union (EU). Using the content analysis method, this research delves into various written media, regulations, laws, and documents. The study reveals that, from an institutional perspective, both the EU and Indonesia align their sustainable finance implementation with regulators' work plans, characterized by shared goals and objectives. However, technical complexities and evolving regulatory aspects pose challenges, stemming from the need to reconcile diverse political views and adapt to changing circumstances. The results indicate that while strong institutional frameworks and regulatory plans exist, practical implementation of sustainable finance faces hurdles. These include the need for clearer guidelines, enhanced inter-agency coordination, and more robust mechanisms to monitor and enforce compliance. Although sustainable finance initiatives in both regions show promise, continuous improvement and adaptation are essential to effectively contribute to a zero-carbon emission economy.
