Abstract

Pariwisata merupakan salah satu sektor penggerak pertumbuhan ekonomi di Indonesia. Jawa Barat merupakan provinsi di Indonesia dengan jumlah  perjalanan wisatawan terbanyak setelah Jawa Timur. Tercatat 167.396.804 perjalanan wisatawan sepanjang tahun 2024. Salah satu kabupaten terbesar di wilayah Jawa Barat adalah Kabupaten Bogor. Kabupaten Bogor terdiri dari 40 Kecamatan dan 417 desa dengan luas wilayah mencapai 2.991,78 km². Wilayah Kabupaten Bogor memiliki banyak potensi wisata seperti curug (air terjun), terasering persawahan, pegunungan, sungai-sungai besar dan desa wisata. Tercatat lebih dari 12 juta kunjungan wisata ke kabupaten Bogor sepanjang tahun 2024. Potensi kunjungan wisata yang saat ini dikembangkan di wilayah Kabupaten Bogor adalah desa wisata. Desa Purwabakti adalah salah satu desa wisata yang ada di Kabupaten Bogor, terletak di Kecamatan Pamijahan, Bogor Barat. Pada tahun 2023, desa Purwabakti dinobatkan masuk ke dalam 75 besar anugerah desa wisata di Indonesia. Prestasi ini tidak serta merta membuat desa Purwabakti ramai dikunjungi oleh wisatawan. Masyarakat desa yang tergabung dalam kelompok sadar wisata (Pokdarwis) Purwabakti menghadapi tantangan dalam membangun strategi branding yang tepat untuk menarik minat wisatawan berkunjung. Pengelola wisata belum melakukan pemasaran digital secara berkelanjutan. Selain itu, masyarakat perlu untuk merumuskan paket wisata unggulan desa Purwabakti. Kesiapan pengelola wisata di Desa Purwabakti, perlu didukung dengan manajemen usaha yang baik.

Abstract

Purwabakti Tourism Village has great tourism potential, but the number of tourist visits is still low. In 2023, the village only received an average of 50 tourists per month, or around 0.19% of the total domestic tourists in Pamijahan Sub-district. Some of the factors that cause the low number of visits are not optimal tourism management, lack of supporting facilities, limited accessibility, and lack of promotion. This study aims to analyze the internal and external factors that influence the development of Purwabakti Tourism Village using SWOT analysis and formulate the right strategy to increase the village's tourism attractiveness. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection through interviews with the Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis), tourism managers, and representatives of the Bogor Regency Culture and Tourism Office. Field observations were also conducted to assess the condition of village tourism. Data were analyzed using SWOT analysis, then strategies were developed through TOWS Matrix In addition, strategy evaluation was conducted using the IFE (Internal Factor Evaluation) Matrix and the EFE (External Factor Evaluation) Matrix to determine the village's strategic position. The results showed that Purwabakti Tourism Village is in cell 6 in the IE Matrix, so the recommended strategy is the harvest strategy. This strategy focuses on optimizing existing resources to increase revenue without large investments. The main recommendations include improving tourism infrastructure, increasing promotion, and maintaining tourism sustainability. Through the implementation of this strategy, it is expected that the number of tourist visits will increase and the village can contribute more to the local economy.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pengelolaan sampah organik berbasis biokonversi maggot merupakan salah satu strategi untuk mengurangi timbunan sampah dan dampak negatif bagi lingkungan. Tujuan program pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, pemahaman dan kesadaran masyarakat dalam pengelolaan sampah organik berbasis biokonversi maggot. Metode yang digunakan yaitu melalui sosialisasi, diskusi interaktif, monitoring/pendampingan dan evaluasi. Mitra dalam pengabdian ini adalah Kelompok Tani budidaya maggot yang beranggotakan 15 orang. Evaluasi dilakukan dalam bentuk pre-test sebelum penyampaian materi dan post-test setelah penyampaian materi. Hasil yang dicapai dari post-test terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan, pemahaman dan kesadaran masyarakat dalam pengelolaan sampah organik berbasis biokonversi maggot sekitar 5% sampai 7% untuk semua indikator soal. Selain itu hasil monitoring menunjukkan bahwa mitra sudah memahami dan terampil dalam budidaya maggot mulai dari penetasan telur, pemindahan larva dan pemanenan. Program pengabdian ini diharapkan berkelanjutan dan dapat menciptakan lapangan kerja baru dalam hal pengelolaan sampah organik berbasis biokonversi maggot.Abstract: The management of organic waste based on maggot bioconversion is one strategy to reduce waste accumulation and its negative impact on the environment. This community service activity aims to increase public knowledge, understanding, and awareness of maggot-based organic waste management. The methods used included socialisation, interactive discussions, mentoring, and evaluation. The partner in this program is a farmer group that cultivates maggots, consisting of 15 members. The evaluation was conducted through a pre-test before the material was delivered and a post-test after wards. The post-test results showed an increase in knowledge, understanding, and awareness among the community of 5% to 7% for all question indicator. In addition, the monitoring results showed that the main partners already understood and were skilled in maggot cultivation, starting from egg hatching, larva transfer, and harvesting. This programme is expected to be sustainable and to open up new job opportunities in the field of organic waste management based on maggot bioconversion.
