Abstract

The webinar and workshop “Forget SQL for a moment: Build Your First Database with MongoDB,” held on January 10, 2026, aims to provide knowledge about the NoSQL database service called MongoDB, with a focus on teaching how to install MongoDB, providing examples of terminal-based queries on Mongo Shell, and visualizing documents in the database using Mongo Compass. Additionally, participants learned how to install the MongoDB database server, access the database via the Mongo Shell terminal, and use Mongo Compass as a Graphical User Interface (GUI) to easily view document visualizations in each database collection. This event successfully attracted 35 student participants from the same department across all grades. This enthusiasm was also supported by the relevance of the course and the participants' interest in learning about the MongoDB database. The results of the pre-test, which participants took before the material was discussed, had an average score of 60.21 points and a median of 90 points, while the post-test, which participants took after the material was discussed in the webinar and workshop, had an average score of 71.88 points and a median of 100 points. In addition, participants provided mostly positive feedback, expressing enthusiasm and satisfaction with the event, as well as suggestions for improvement in the future. This activity served as a means of technological education that provided insight and supported the development of science and technology.

Abstract

The digital divide phenomenon in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 remains a major barrier to the growth of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Many business actors still rely on manual showcases or social media platforms that are vulnerable to algorithm changes. This community service activity aims to provide a solution through a Webinar and Workshop program entitled “Rakit Etalase Digitalmu,” which introduces websites as professional and independent digital showcases. The program was implemented in two stages: community education (webinar) and technical training (workshop) covering basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Evaluation through pre-tests and post-tests showed an average correct response rate of 86% in the pre-test and 82% in the post-test, which does not yet indicate a quantitative improvement, although participants’ understanding remained in the good category. Feedback results revealed a high level of participant satisfaction, with an average rating of approximately 4.2 out of 5, and demonstrated meaningful gains in knowledge and experience in developing websites as digital showcases for MSMEs.

Abstract

ASugarcane plantations play an important role in food security and the national economy. However, problems such as empty areas or suboptimal planting distances still frequently occur and affect land productivity. This study aims to develop an automatic detection model for empty spaces between sugarcane plants using the YOLOv5 method. The data used consists of 1,000 digital images of sugarcane fields obtained via drone from PT Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero). The research method follows the AI project cycle, which includes problem scoping, data acquisition, data exploration, modeling, evaluation, and deployment. The labeling of empty areas was performed using Roboflow, and model training was conducted on Google Colab. The model was evaluated using metrics such as IoU, precision, recall, F1-score, and accuracy. The best results showed that the model achieved an accuracy of 35.37%, precision of 0.4774, recall of 0.5771, and F1-score of 0.5225. Additionally, the model results were applied to an interactive dashboard based on Streamlit to facilitate visualization and decision-making in the field. This study demonstrates that YOLOv5 has potential in assisting with the detection of empty areas in sugarcane fields; however, the model's performance can still be improved through data optimization and model parameter tuning.
