Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan melatih para pemuda di Sanggar Tani Muda desa Sumberbanjar Kecamatan Bluluk Kabupaten Lamongan untuk memanfaatkan botol bekas sebagai media hidroponik sederhana dan melatih pembuatan produk olahan nugget yang terbuat dari bahan dasar sawi hasil budidaya hidroponik. Kegiatan pengabdian ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kemampuan dan kreativitas para pemuda desa Sumberbanjar dalam bidang pertanian dan kewirausahaan. Kegiatan ini terdiri dari praktek pembuatan hidroponik sederhana menggunakan botol bekas; pendampingan penyemaian benih sawi; pendampingan penanaman sawi; pelatihan pengolahan hasil sayuran (nuget sawi); dan launching sanggar tani muda desa Sumberbanjar. Skor kepuasan dan manfaat bagi para peserta dalam mengikuti pelatihan ini mencapai 9,2 (skala 1-10). Kegiatan ini menjadikan peserta ingin berwirausaha di bidang hidroponik sebesar 67% dan peserta yang ingin berwirausaha bidang wirausaha produk olahan sayuran sebesar 81%. Hasil pelatihan hidroponik sederhana dan pelatihan pembuatan nugget sawi sangat memuaskan bagi peserta. Pihak Pemerintah Desa Sumberbanjar bersedia memfasilitasi keberlanjutan program ini bagi para anggota sanggar tani muda untuk menjadi pengusaha di bidang hidroponik.

Abstract

Harvest residues in the form of straw and husks are abundantly found around agricultural and milling land in Pajangan Village, Sukodadi Lamongan. In addition, livestock waste in the backyards of people who have livestock has not been utilized. This community service activity is based on farmers' ignorance of how to make organic fertilizer by utilizing waste around their land. This activity aims to provide direct learning and practice to farmers in the form of training in making solid and liquid organic fertilizers from harvest residues and livestock waste and their applications. The implementation of this community service began in June to August 2024. This activity was carried out for farmers who are members of the Harapan Farmers Group Association, Pajangan Village, Sukodadi, Lamongan. The activities carried out were observation, socialization, training activities and activity evaluation. The results of this activity are that farmers have the knowledge and skills in making solid and liquid organic fertilizers and how to apply them to their land and plants. So that farmers can make their own organic fertilizers to be applied to their land and plants to support organic farming activities.

Abstract

Red spinach is one of the vegetable horticultural crops used for its leaves. Red spinach cultivation generally uses chemical fertilizers and pesticides because the impact is felt more quickly, but the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides causes a decrease in productivity. One of the efforts to improve the quality and productivity of red spinach plants can be done by adding organic materials, such as substitutes for chemical fertilizers and pesticides, namely animal manure fertilizers and vegetable pesticides. The purpose of the study was to determine the response of giving types of organic fertilizers and vegetable pesticides to the production of red spinach plants. A Factorial Randomized Group Design (RAK) method, which is divided into three levels and has two factors, was used in this study. Types of animal manure fertilizer and plant-based pesticides were the first and second factors. Types of animal manure fertilizers used: cow manure, vermicompost fertilizer and guano fertilizer. Vegetable pesticides used: biomoxa, neem oil extract and MS. Fisher's variance (F test at 5% level) was used to analyze the observation data. If significant differences were found, then the Least Significant Difference Test (BNT 5%) was continued. The best results in this study were obtained in the treatment of cow manure and vegetable pesticide Neem oil extract.

Abstract

Oyster mushrooms are one of the types of consumption mushrooms that are in great demand by the public. The demand for mushrooms continues to increase from year to year both from within and outside the country. Currently, oyster mushroom production needs to be increased due to increasing market demand. One way to increase the production of white oyster mushrooms is by giving growth regulators (ZPT) and agricultural lime with the right application time and concentration. This study aims to determine the effect of giving some ZPT and agricultural lime to increase mycelium growth and production of white oyster mushrooms. The research method used was a complete factorial randomized design, consisting of two factors, each factor consisting of 4 levels, and 3 levels. The type of ZPT is the first factor consisting of No ZPT, ZPT Atonik, ZPT Rootmost, and ZPT Dekamon. While the dose of agricultural lime is the second factor consisting of 1% lime (10gr/baglog), 2% lime (20gr/baglog), and 3% lime (30gr/baglog). Parameters observed included pinhead formation time, number of fruits per sample, fruit hood diameter and fruit weight per sample. The observation results were calculated by analyzing variance (F test) at 5% level. If there was a significant difference between treatments, BNT test was conducted at 5% level. The addition of ZPT Atonik and 1% Lime gave the best results from other treatments.

Abstract

The lettuce plant is one of the vegetables that can be eaten raw, as it has a fairly high mineral content. Fertilization provides a very large role to increase the resulting product. Currently, farmers in Indonesia are beginning to understand the importance of organic fertilizers in the cultivation process. This is based on the knowledge that inorganic fertilizers have a negative impact on the environment if used excessively and in the long term. Biofertilizer is an alternative that utilizes certain microorganisms to provide nutrients and help plant growth. The purpose of the study was to determine the response of growth and production of organic lettuce plants to the dosing of liquid biofertilizer. This study applied the Complete Randomized Design method consisting of one factor with seven levels repeated four times. The factor is the dose of liquid biofertilizer including: 0 l/ha, 100 l/ha, 200 l/ha, 300 l/ha, 400 l/ha, 500 l/ha, and 600 l/ha. The parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, wet weight per sample plant, wet weight per hectare and root length. Data obtained from the observations were calculated using 5% analysis of variance (ANOVA) method. If there is a real effect, it is further tested with the BNT (Least Real Difference) method at the 5% level. The results stated that the observation of lettuce plant growth, the dose of 100 l/ha gave the best results, while in the harvest the dose of 200 l/ha gave the best results compared to other treatments.

Abstract

Cucumber is one of the vines that is usually eaten directly or in processed form. The productivity of this cucumber crop is quite low. Cucumber production can be increased through intensification efforts. Intensification is a step taken to increase agricultural productivity through optimal utilisation of available land with various methods. One of them is the use of bat manure (Guano) fertiliser. Guano fertiliser comes from the process of weathering rocks and bat droppings that occur in natural caves containing nutrients N, P, and K. This research is to determine how effective the dose of Guano fertiliser is in increasing the productivity of organic cucumber. The research used the regular Randomised Group Design (RAK) method involving 7 treatments and 4 replications. The parameters observed were the dose of guano fertiliser, from no guano fertiliser; 2.5 t/ha; 5.0 t/ha; 7.5 t/ha; 10.0 t/ha; 12.5 t/ha; and 15.0 t/ha. Parameters that have been observed include number of leaves, plant height, fruit weight per hectare, fruit weight per plot, and fruit weight per sample plant. The data obtained will be calculated with the F test at 1 and 5% significance levels. If there is a significant difference, the next step is the BNT test at the 5% significance level. The optimal result of bat manure fertiliser dosage on baby cucumber productivity was found when using the highest dose, 15.0 t/ha, compared to other doses.

Abstract

Pakcoy mustard plant is a plant that is easily cultivated by farmers in Indonesia. Pakcoy mustard plants are very valuable economically because people want them. In addition to having many health benefits, pakcoy mustard plants also have a short cultivation frequency, to increase good production yields, you must pay attention to cultivation methods starting from the land processing process to harvest. Thus, the aim of this research was to examine the impact of different solid organic feltilizers ob the development and yield of organic pakcoy mustard plants. This research was designed with a regular randomized group design (RAK) consisting of seven treatments, including: No treatment, organic fertilizer application of burnt husk, fertilizer application of vermicompost, fertilizer application of chicken manure, fertilizer application of cow dung, fertilizer application of goat dung and fertilizer application of bat dung. The results of the research on this study are that it can increase the productivity of pakcoy mustard plants and the best results are found in the provision of solid organic fertilizer treatment of burnt husks.

Abstract

Cucumber is one of the most popular vegetable crops in the community. However, the production yield of cucumber plants is low. To increase cucumber productivity, there are steps that can be taken, namely by agricultural intensification. Intensification is a way to develop agricultural products that maximise the potential of existing land, one of which is through fertilisation. Fertilisation that is safe for the environment and health can be done through the application of organic systems. A very effective type of organic fertiliser is kascing, which is earthworm manure. This fertiliser is rich in nutrients that can be directly absorbed by plants, making it a good choice to accelerate the growth of cucumber plants. The purpose of the study was to examine the role of applying various doses of vermicompost fertiliser to increase the productivity of cucumber plants. The method used was RAK using 7 treatments with 4 replications. The treatments included variations in fertiliser dosage, namely no fertiliser; 2.5 t/ha; 5.0 t/ha; 7.5 t/ha; 10.0 t/ha; 12.5 t/ha; and 15.0 t/ha. The observations made consisted of, fruit weight per hectare, fruit weight per plot, fruit weight per sample plant, number of leaves, and plant height. The data obtained were calculated with the F test of 5% & 1% significance. If a significant difference is obtained, the next step is the 5% BNT test. The most optimal results due to the dose treatment of fertiliser kascing to increase the productivity of baby cucumber were obtained at the highest dose, which was 15.0 t/ha, compared to other doses

Abstract

Amaranthus tricolor L. ialah sayuran bergizi tinggi dengan permintaan pasar yang terus meningkat, namun produksinya di Indonesia masih fluktuatif akibat rendahnya kualitas lahan dan keterbatasan unsur hara. Upaya optimalisasi budidaya perlu dilakukan melalui pemilihan media tanam dan pemupukan yang tepat. Media seperti pupuk kascing dan pupuk kandang ayam kaya akan hara makro, sementara pupuk organik cair (POC) mudah diserap tanaman dan ramah lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas macam media tanam dan dosis pupuk organik cair (POC) terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil bayam merah. Penelitian dengan percobaan faktorial dua faktor dalam RAK, yaitu macam media tanam (tanah, tanah + kascing, dan tanah + pupuk kandang ayam) dan dosis POC (0, 20, dan 30 l/ha). Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis varian (uji F) pada taraf signifikansi 5%, dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT) pada taraf yang sama. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, pertumbuhan dan produksi optimal dicapai dengan dosis POC sebesar 30 l/ha yang dikombinasikan dengan pupuk tanah dan pupuk ayam.

Abstract

Tanaman kangkung darat atau cabut merupakan jenis hortikultura yang sangat digemari masyarakat dan sebagian besar di tanam petani Indonesia. Namun, permintaan sayuran kangkung yang meningkat tidak diimbangi dengan bertambahnya jumlah produksi. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya budidaya atau pemeliharaan tanaman kangkung dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan jumlah produksi. Peningkatan produktivitas terhadap produksi tanaman kangkung darat organik bisa dilakukan dengan beberapa teknik seperti pemilihan varietas yang unggul dan pemberian pupuk organik padat (POP) kotoran hewan. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dampak dari berbagai jenis kangkung cabut dan penerapan pupuk organik padat dari kotoran hewan. Analisis ini dengan Metode Rancangan Acak Kelompok dua faktor dengan tiga level. Faktor I : variasi jenis kangkung, yaitu Nanda, Koko, dan Serimpi, sementara faktor II : macam POP kotoran hewan, terdiri dari kontrol (tanpa pupuk), POP kambing, dan POP sapi. Variabel yang analisa mencakup tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, bobot segar per tanaman, bobot segar per hektar, serta panjang akar. Hasil dari pengamatan di Uji dengan Fisher taraf 5 & 1%, jika ada beda nyata diteruskan dengan uji BNT 5%. Hasil penelitian diperoleh varietas Serimpi dan pupuk kotoran kambing memberikan hasil kombinasi terbaik daripada perlakuan lainnya untuk pertumbuhan tanaman kangkung darat sedangkan pada hasil produksi tanaman kangkung darat varietas Koko dan pupuk kotoran sapi memberikan hasil kombinasi terbaik daripada perlakuan lainnya.
