Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between student discipline and learning achievement in grade 5 elementary school students. This study uses a quantitative approach with comparative and correlational study methods that assess 31 students. The determination of the sample was carried out using the purposive sampling technique. Discipline assessment was carried out by 2 teachers and parents of students using validated instruments, while learning achievement was measured based on semester report card scores. The results of statistical analysis showed that there was a significant positive relationship between student discipline and learning achievement. The t-test score showed a significance of 0.000, which confirms the existence of a strong correlation between discipline and student learning outcomes. Although the correlation between discipline assessments from teachers and parents is not very high, the results of the study still show that students with high levels of discipline tend to have better learning achievement. These findings highlight the importance of implementing effective discipline strategies both at school and at home as an effort to improve student learning outcomes. The study concludes that discipline has an important role in shaping a conducive learning environment and supporting optimal academic achievement. The implication of this study is the need for cooperation between educators and parents in instilling discipline values from an early age to create a more qualified generation. Further research with a wider sample coverage as well as the exploration of additional factors such as motivation and learning strategies is suggested to reinforce these findings.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how emotional maturity and verbal aggression are in adolescents in the city of Tomohon, North Sulawesi. This type of research is a type of case study research that uses qualitative methods with an interpretive phenomenological approach. The informants in this study were a group of five youths using a purposive sampling technique to collect informants. Collection techniques, namely observation, interviews, and documentation were carried out to analyze emotional maturity and verbal aggression in a group of adolescents. The results of this study concluded that there was a negative effect between emotional maturity and verbal aggression in a group of adolescents which was inversely proportional, where if the value of emotional maturity went up, the value of aggressiveness would decrease and vice versa. the results of this study concluded that the relationship between emotional maturity and verbal aggression is very significant, meaning that these two things are very strongly related.

Abstract

This journal was created to find out whether in this day and age discussing sex is still a taboo subject for some people. This study aims to see whether talking about sex in society is still classified as sensitive and whether teenagers receive sex education while at school. And from the results of this study it was found that there wasstill a lack of sex education received by children (adolescents). The research that we conducted using the observation method, the interviews that were obtained in the field, the fact that discussing sexual matters is still a negative thing in the environment. The purpose of this study is to provide information and understanding of sex education in the community who have negative perceptions of the importance of sex education from parents, children, individuals and groups

Abstract

tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran orang tua dalam mengontrol pergaulan anak di taratara 3 kota tomohon. jenis penelitian kali ini yaitu studi kasus yang menggunakan metode kualitatif. Informan yang ada dalam penelitian ini ada 2 orang dewasa yang berperan sebagai orang tua dalam mengontrol pergaulan anak mereka dengan teknik observasi dan wawancara yang dilakukan dalam hal untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran mereka dalam mengontrol pergaulan anak mereka. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa peran orang tua sangatlah berpengaruh dalam masa pertumbuhan anaknya, orang tua akan berupaya untuk meminimalisir pergaulan anaknya mulai dari pergaulan baik sampai yang buruk dalam peran tersebut tentunya banyak hambatan yang dialami orang tua, hambatan tersebut dapat berupa anak yang keras kepala dan susah di atur dan sebagainya. Kadang habatan tersebut dapat membuat orang tua merasa risih lagi dalam menasehati atau mengontrol anak mereka. Namun meski begitu mereka tetap selalu dengan senang hati mengontrol pergaulan anak mereka agar kelak menjadi lebih baik dan memiliki masa depan yang cerah dengan begitu mereka akan merasa senang jika mereka berhasil mengontrol pergaulan anak mereka
