Abstract

AbstractThis study wants to discuss the new aesthetic or queer aesthetic in the charm of makeup and costumes used in the film Asterix At The Olympic Games by director Frederick Forestier produced in 2008. The perspective taken in this study is charm through makeup and costumes, and its relevance to popular culture and people's interest in fantasy films. This study uses a qualitative method, with film studies as an approach in the analysis of cinematographic studies. Film studies in this study focus on social practice performances about the body, identity, representation, and elements contained in the charm of makeup and costumes in the film Asterix At The Olympic Games. The results showed that Asterix at The Olympic Games became a fantasy film genre that gave the complexity of the show as entertainment. In Asterix at The Olympic Games, there is a parody with an imitation of the situation and culture of Greece, which is conveyed through makeup, costumes, and performances. Alfred Gell, in his study of technology of enchantment, concerned the 'technical complexity' aspects of a work to attract the attention of the audience through the management of makeup and costumes. Furthermore, the concept of theatrical mimicry and parody as a 'technical complexity' is shown as a display of aesthetic queer for the sake of performance that can attract attention because of its shape as a popular culture product that is different for the audience.Keywords: new aesthetics; the enchantment of makeup and costumes; Asterix at the Olympic Games AbstrakPenelitian ini ingin membahas tentang estetika baru atau queer aesthetic dalam pesona make up dan kostum yang digunakan dalam film Asterix At The Olympic Games karya sutradara Frederick Forestier yang diproduksi tahun 2008. Sudut pandang yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah pesona melalui make up dan kostum, dan relevansinya terhadap budaya populer dan minat masyarakat terhadap film fantasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, dengan film studies sebagai pendekatan dalam analisis kajian sinematografinya. Film studies dalam penelitian ini berfokus pada pertunjukan praktik sosial mengenai ketubuhan, identitas, representasi, dan unsur-unsur yang terkandung dalam pesona make up dan kostum dalam film Asterix At The Olympic Games. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Asterix at The Olympic Games menjadi genre film fantasi yang memberikan kompleksitas pertunjukan sebagai hiburan. Di dalam Asterix at The Olympic Games terdapat parodi dengan imitasi terhadap situasi dan budaya Yunani yang disampaikan melalui make up, kostum, dan pertunjukannya. Alfred Gell dalam telaahnya mengenai technology of enchantment mementingkan aspek ‘kerumitan teknik’ dalam suatu karya untuk menarik perhatian penonton melalui pengelolaan make up dan kostum. Lebih lanjut, konsep theatrical mimicry dan parodi sebagai suatu ‘kerumitan teknik’ ditunjukkan sebagai suatu display atas queer aesthetic untuk kepentingan pertunjukan yang mampu menarik perhatian karena bentuknya sebagai produk budaya populer yang berbeda bagi penonton.Kata kunci: estetika baru; pesona make up dan kostum; Asterix At The Olympic Games

Abstract

Tari Lencir Kuning merupakan salah satu materi tari yang sering digunakan dalam lomba tari di Tuban. Sekolah yang sering menggunakan materi tari Lencir Kuning dalam Lomba Tari adalah Madrasah Aliyah Darul Ma’wa. Pembelajaran seni tari di sekolah tersebut merupakan pembelajaran ekstrakurikuler tari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran ekstrakurikuler tari Lencir Kuning, mendiskripsikan metode pembelajaran yang digunakan guru dan mendeskripsikan hasil belajar. Penelitian kualitatif ini menggunakan sumber data primer yaitu dari pelatih ekstrakurikuler tari tentang pelaksanaan pembelajaran dan data sekunder yang didapat dari dokumen nilai hasil belajar peserta didik. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi data yaitu triangulasi teknik, sumber, dan waktu. Hasil penelitian pada pelaksanaan pembelajaran ekstrakurikuler tari dilakukan melalui tiga tahap kegiatan yaitu kegiatan pendahuluan, kegiatan inti dan kegiatan penutup. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler memenuhi komponen pembelajaran yaitu terdapat tujuan, guru, peserta didik, metode, dan media. Metode pembelajaran ekstrakurikuler Tari Lencir Kuning menggunakan metode ceramah, demonstrasi, latihan bersama, dan praktikum. Metode ceramah digunakan untuk memberikan materi tentang dasar- dasar pengenalan properti tari. Metode demonstrasi dilakukan oleh pelatih yang secara langsung menarikan tari Lencir Kuning.

Abstract

SMKN 12 Surabaya adalah lembaga pendidikan formal di Surabaya. Penelitian di SMKN 12 ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pembelajaran tari Jawa Timur, kendala pembelajaran dan hasil belajar tari Jawa Timur 1 di Kelas XI pada masa pademi Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan objek penelitian adalah pembelajaran praktik seni tari pada mata pelajaran tari Jawa Timur 1 dengan materi Remo Putri. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian bahwa pada masa pandemi covid-19, Pembelajaran tatap muka berfokus guna meningkatkan kepahaman siswa. Jadi dimasa pandemi ini tidak menjadi penghalang untuk siswa memperoleh ilmu. Proses pembelajaran tetap berlangsung di SMKN 12 Surabaya dan waktu tatap muka berkurang dari 4 kali menjadi 2 kali tatap muka. Pembelajaran tatap muka dilakukan dengan menggunakan protokol kesehatan. Pembelajaran menggunakan metode demonstrasi dengan media video pembelajaran. Hasil belajar siswa di masa pandemi ini cukup baik dan mendapat kontroling nilai dari guru untuk siswa. Kendala dalam proses pembelajaran pada masa pandemi adalah berkurangnya waktu yang berdampak materi yang diberikan oleh guru terhambat, oleh karena itu guru membuat media video pembelajaran untuk dipelajari dirumah. Sedangkan kendala yang dialami siswa adalah dalam hal menerima materi pembelajaran dari video pembelajaran kurang jelas dan menyebabkan belajar mandiri tidak dapat berjalan dengan baik.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a teaching material for learning block notation. Based on the results of interviews with several music teachers at private elementary schools in Surabaya, researchers obtained data that there are always students who have difficulty understanding block notation in all private elementary schools that provide block notation material for class students. 1 SD. Therefore, the researcher wants to design a block notation learning material that is interesting and makes it easier for students to understand block notation. The learning design made by the researcher uses the ASSURE model design by paying attention to aspects of child cognitive psychology and color psychology. The results of the design are black block notation images, color block notation images along with hand movements and audio as a unitary block notation teaching material. The results of the design were then tested on grade 1 students at Sampoerna Academy Elementary School and the results showed that 90% of children were interested in the color block notation learning design and it was easier to understand the material.

Abstract

The background for conducting the training comes from the teachers need in fulfilling the obligation tocompose scientific works for job promotion matters and teachers achievement documentation. Thisactivity is aimed at improving the understanding and the skills of Arts and Culture teachers in composingscientific works and Classroom Action Research through training. Furthermore, it was carried out throughlecture, discussion, task giving and guidance. The results of the questionnaire showed thatthe ability of theparticipants in composing the Classroom Action Research is 92% very good. Also, with regard tocomposing the Classroom Action Researchand scientific works, it was found that based on the aspect ofunderstanding the contents of the materials presented, the ability of the participants reaches 84,6%percentage. Besides, the easinessof generating ideas in writing Classroom Action Research achieves69%, while the ability of developing Classroom Action Research writing well obtains 69%. In addition, theresponse onthe Classroom Action Research aspect supporting the learning process is 61,5%. Meanwhile,opinion on the Classroom Action Research donethat can be applied gets 69% percentage. The averagescore of the participants in writing proposal is 78. In general, the average score is satisfactory, consideringthat there were some participants who previously did not understand aboutClassroom Action Researchbecause their specialty ispure art. Additionally, the percentage of the participants achieving score above70 is 69%, while the rest 30% got 60 and below. It indicates that the trainingonscientific works andClassroom Action Research writing has been successlly run and shown a noticable result.

Abstract

This increase in the number of elderly people does not only occur in every group of people. This is also the case for retirees, who are now members of the United Wredatama Republik Indonesia (PWRI) organization in Tandes District. The fate of retirees often experiences boredom towards monotonous organizational turmoil and adds to the burden of suffering for them in enjoying old age. So there is a need for activities that can be used as a spirit in living a quality life. The Wredatama Association of the Republic of Indonesia (PWRI) Tandes District has a special policy to provide quality services and uphold the dignity and dignity of the elderly, especially for retirees. One of the impacts of the success of social services is to influence the increase in life expectancy for retirees in the city of Surabaya. Most of the residents in the Persatuan Wredatama Republik Indonesia (PWRI) Kecataman Tandes have a desire to be able to carry out artistic activities as a generator of enthusiasm and at the same time entertaining interactions with fellow residents. Departing from this, the Community Service team of the Department of Ballet, Faculty of Language and Arts, Surabaya State University worked together with the Wredatama Association of the Republic of Indonesia (PWRI) Tandes District to conduct an art training program focused on the type of karawitan art. The activity of presenting karawitan, both tembang and gending music, can entertain and raise the spirit for a quality life.

Abstract

In this era where technology is vastly developed, and even children can use or utilise smartphones, technology has become something general because of its ease. Therefore, technology can keep learning materials relevant to create suitable learning media for learners in this era. This study aimed to elaborate on the product's specifications and the learning media of Gandrung dance using the android application's developmental process. The research and Development method was used, and ADDIE-model was featured to assess the product's effectiveness. The data was collected using observation and interviews. The result of the study shows that the product development of Gandrung dance into a smartphone application consisting of Gandrung dance's graded material study from the synopsis, dance movements, makeup and wardrobe to quizzes. The three developmental processes that have been done up until this point are analysis, design, and development. The research problems were decided during the analysis stage, and the design and development stage was developed, developing the material or the product's display and bringing the idea into the product.

Abstract

The topic of this research is the creative process of the Ruhui Rahayu music group in creating songs because this group does not only play folk songs, but also creates folk songs such as Panting Songs and Banjar Songs which is very important to preserve the culture. The purpose of this research is to describe Ruhui Rahayu s creative process in creating songs. The research method used is descriptive qualitative data obtained from interviews and observations of Ruhui Rahayu s group and literacy studies on the theory of creativity. The results of the study found that in making his song works, Ruhui Rahayu went through 4 stages, namely having creative personal characteristics marked by the presence of an element of fluency or the ability to produce many songs quickly in a short time, then in the process of working he goes through the stages of preparation, incubation until the emergence of inspiration. or new ideas. Furthermore, through the Press stage or self-motivation to work. The fourth stage is the production of songs that can be enjoyed.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui pembelajaran menggambar Accelerated  Drawing  Technique  (ADT)  di  sanggar  Creativ  Kids  Kediri. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa usia dini di sanggar Creativ Kids Kediri, sebanyak 36 siswa. Pembelajaran menggambar Accelerated Drawing Technique (ADT) adalah teknik  cepat menggambar  dengan  menggunakan  bidang  yang  ditarik  garis lurus atau lengkung sehingga menghasilkan gambar hewan yang diinginkan. Dari hasil penelitian yang didapat menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa di sanggar ini dapat menggambar dengan Accelerated Drawing Technique (ADT).  Hal  itu  dapat  dilihat  dari  hasil  karya  yang  dibuat  oleh  siswa  di sanggar. Hasil karya siswa sanggar yang mendapat kriteria baik 53%, kriteria cukup 33%, kriteria kurang 14%. Pembelajaran menggambar Accelerated Drawing Technique (ADT) ini menanamkan karakter positif di antaranya kreatif, disiplin, tanggung jawab, dan menghargai karya. Selain itu karya yang dibuat memiliki keunikan tersendiri.  Karya tulis ilmiah ini dapat bermanfaat sebagai  referensi  di  dunia  pendidikan  baik  untuk  siswa  maupun  guru  di sanggar maupun sekolah.
