Abstract

This study aims to examine how Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) and digital literacy affect Generation Z's work readiness for the Diploma Programme. The study involved 169 students from the Diploma Programme of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Jenderal Soedirman University, and 90 students were randomly selected as the sample because the population was homogeneous, meaning that all students had participated in MBKM internships. The data analysis used the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the Partial Least Square (PLS) method as an alternative. The quality of the structural model was evaluated by testing the measurement index, namely R2. The test results revealed: 1) MBKM internships had a significant impact on the work readiness of generation Z, with a t-test value of 8.323 t critical value of 1.987; 2) digital literacy did not have a significant impact on work readiness, with a t-test value of 0.744 t critical value of 1.987; and 3) there was a simultaneous influence of MBKM internships and digital literacy on work readiness, with a Sig value of 0.0000.05 and R2 of 0.844 indicating that MBKM internships and digital literacy jointly explained 84.4% of the variance in work readiness. Recommendations for policymakers regarding diploma programs include integrating digital literacy as a fundamental component of the curriculum across all disciplines, enhancing access to internship opportunities via industry collaborations, employing virtual internships and remote work simulations, and upgrading infrastructure while ensuring access to technology.

Abstract

This study examined the influence of Indonesia's information and communication technology (ICT) development on the country's economic growth both in the short term and long term using a systematic literature review methodology. Systematic searches in several databases (Springer, Scopus, Science Gate, Science Direct, Sinta, Routledge Francis & Taylor, and other International Conferences). The included papers are 24 peer-reviewed studies. Results showed a positive impact of ICT development in Indonesia on economic growth both in the short-run and long-run periods. The impact is also indicated by total factor productivity, human capital resources, and capital per worker. However, there's an inequality of income found in Indonesia regarding the development of ICT.

The data used in this research were obtained using a closed-ended questionnaire with proportionate stratified random sampling as the sampling technique and multiple linear regression analysis as the data analysis technique. The results of the research and data analysis using the SPSS program showed that: (1) There is no positive influence of adversity quotient on learning independence. (2) There is a positive influence of achievement motivation on learning independence. (3) There is a positive influence of self-concept on learning independence. The implications of this research are that students are advised to enhance their learning independence by increasing motivation to achieve better academic performance and to enhance their self-concept by nurturing a positive view of themselves, thereby developing self-confidence.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of project-based entrepreneurship education, income expectations, and family support on the entrepreneurial interest of class XII students of SMK Negeri 1 Bulakamba. The background of this study is the low interest of students in entrepreneurship. The method used is a quantitative survey with a sample of 219 respondents through proportional random sampling techniques. The results of this study indicate that project-based entrepreneurship education has a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial interest; income expectations have a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial interest; family support has a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial interest. These findings provide important implications for schools and teachers to continue to develop the quality of project-based entrepreneurship education and improve students' understanding of the potential income from entrepreneurship. Families are also expected to provide support in fostering this interest. Students are expected to be active in participating in entrepreneurial activities, have positive thoughts about business prospects, and be able to convince their families of their choices. This study has limitations, one of which is the use of Google Forms media which requires an internet connection, while some respondents experience access constraints. Researchers help provide connections as a solution. On the other hand, there are other factors outside the research variables that may influence entrepreneurial interest, so further research is expected to add variables to obtain more comprehensive results.
