Abstract

The purpose of this research is to make osteoporosis detection aid system by utilizing x-ray image of spinal vertebra as research specimen. To improve the accuracy of the identification system, then used blended method between statistical theory and Index Singh as the determinant of osteoporosis level. This study used 50 sempel test of x-ray image of spinal vertebra obtained from RSO dr. R, Soeharso Surakarta. The completion stage of this research is done by pre-processing x-ray image, calculating the area, calculating the number of pixels, and ending by calculating statistically and comparing Index Singh. The results of this study show the representation of the area based on the highest white pixel is 7,983 pixels while the lowest is 5,410 pixels. Having done the overall testing of this system can provide accuracy of 76%.

Abstract

Magnetic Resonator Coupling banyak dipergunakan untuk berbagai aplikasi Wireless Power Transfer (WPT). Pada penelitian ini berhasil dirancang WPT dengan tegangan sebesar 5 V. Jika Tx dan Rx diposisikan saling berhadapan, tegangan maksimum 4,7 volt pada jarak 1 cm. Sementara itu, jika Tx dan Rx diposisikan berdampingan, tegangan yang dihasilkan dari 3.5V.

Abstract

The importance of maintenance on the FTTX network as a communication service infrastructure is to avoid interference. Good maintenance activities must be carried out in an appropriate and consistent manner. The research methods used are observation, interviews with related parties as well as documentation and literature study. The maintenance activities carried out consist of FO Cut, FAT Loss/Problem, Bad Core, Low RSL, Bed Barrel, Bed Pigtail, FO Bending. Abstract

SMK Negeri 1 Cilegon implements the Teaching Factory program to improve students' skills through industry-based learning. This program connects theory with real practice, providing hands-on experience in manufacturing products according to industry standards. Collaboration with PT Indonesia Power enriches students' learning, which has an impact on improving their technical skills and work readiness. However, limited facilities are a major challenge. Nevertheless, this program has succeeded in increasing students' academic scores by 80%-90% and facilitating the absorption of graduates in the workforce.

Abstract

This research aims to discuss electrolyzer technology which acts as a tool that produces sodium hypochlorite or chlorine active ingredient. Sodium hypochlorite functions as an active ingredient that can weaken and neutralize microorganisms so that the cooling channel (condenser) is protected from the proliferation of marine life that can inhibit the channel. The research method carried out is explanatory descriptive research, while the method of data collection is carried out through observation and interviews with related parties. The process carried out to make sodium hypochlorite or chlorine products begins with seawater entering the sea water tank, sea water booster pump, sea water strainer, electrolyzer, sodium hyphochlorite tank, continuous dosing pump, shock dosing pump and finally injection intake area. The main tool used to produce sodium hypochlorite is an electrolyzer, this tool functions as a separator of seawater compounds to be used as sodium hypochlorite or chlorine active ingredient. The results showed that the electrolyzer technology produces active ingredients that can weaken marine biota to prevent blockages in the condenser channel. The existing cooling system works optimally so that the plant avoids overheating.

Abstract

Pengembangan soft skills melalui pendidikan vokasional menjadi aspek krusial dalam menjawab kebutuhan industri modern. Revolusi Industri 4.0 telah mengubah lanskap pekerjaan, di mana tenaga kerja dituntut untuk memiliki kombinasi keterampilan teknis (hard skills) dan keterampilan non-teknis (soft skills) seperti komunikasi, kepemimpinan, kerja tim, dan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Jurnal ini mengkaji peran pendidikan vokasional dalam membentuk lulusan yang kompeten melalui pendekatan berbasis praktik, seperti Project-Based Learning (PjBL), simulasi dunia kerja, pelatihan kepemimpinan, dan evaluasi holistik. Penelitian ini juga menyoroti pentingnya kolaborasi antara institusi pendidikan, industri, dan pemerintah dalam merancang kurikulum yang relevan dengan kebutuhan dunia kerja.

Abstract

Permintaan energi yang terus meningkat seiring pertumbuhan penduduk serta terbatasnya cadangan bahan bakar fosil mendorong perlunya pengembangan sumber energi terbarukan. Salah satu potensi yang dapat dimanfaatkan adalah biogas, yang dihasilkan dari fermentasi limbah organik seperti kotoran sapi. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Desa Sindang Sari, Kecamatan Pabuaran, Kabupaten Serang, Provinsi Banten, yang memiliki potensi peternakan cukup tinggi namun belum mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan limbah peternakan. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat mengenai pemanfaatan kotoran sapi sebagai energi alternatif melalui teknologi biogas sederhana berbasis fixed dome digester. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif melalui studi literatur, observasi lapangan, wawancara dengan peternak lokal, serta praktik langsung pembuatan dan pengujian alat biogas skala kecil. Sosialisasi dilakukan secara interaktif dengan pendekatan experiential learning, memperlihatkan proses fermentasi anaerob dan hasil pembakaran gas metana dari instalasi sederhana. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa teknologi ini mampu menghasilkan gas yang dapat digunakan untuk memasak serta menghasilkan residu yang bermanfaat sebagai pupuk organik. Respon masyarakat sangat positif dan menunjukkan potensi untuk replikasi teknologi secara lebih luas. Kendala yang ndihadapi meliputi keterbatasan biaya pembangunan dan kebutuhan pelatihan lanjutan. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa biogas merupakan solusi energi terbarukan yang layak diterapkan dalam skala rumah tangga untuk mendukung ketahanan energi desa dan pengelolaan limbah yang ramah lingkungan

Abstract

Peningkatan kebutuhan energi listrik di masyarakat menuntut adanya solusi alternatif yang ramah lingkungan dan berkelanjutan. Energi fosil yang selama ini menjadi sumber utama pembangkit listrik memiliki dampak negatif terhadap lingkungan. Salah satu solusi yang dapat diterapkan secara langsung di lingkungan perdesaan adalah pemanfaatan energi surya sebagai sumber energi penerangan jalan umum (PJU). Kegiatan ini merupakan bentuk Proyek Mandiri oleh mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Vokasional Teknik Elektro berupa pemasangan tiga unit PJU tenaga surya di Desa Cibarani, Kecamatan Cisata, Kabupaten Pandeglang. Tahapan kegiatan meliputi survei lokasi, sosialisasi kepada warga, edukasi tentang manfaat dan cara perawatan PJU tenaga surya, serta pelaksanaan instalasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa PJU telah berfungsi secara optimal dan memberikan manfaat langsung dalam menunjang aktivitas masyarakat, khususnya pada malam hari, serta meningkatkan kesadaran warga akan pentingnya energi terbarukan.

Abstract

Vocational education demands continuous innovation in instructional media to enhance students’ comprehension of increasingly complex technical concepts. In response to the global shift toward sustainable energy solutions, this study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of solar panel trainers as hands-on, technology-based learning tools in the teaching of electrical installation engineering. Utilizing a quasi-experimental design with pre-test and post-test control groups, the research was conducted at a vocational high school and involved two student groups: one using conventional learning methods and another using solar panel trainers. Data were collected through structured tests assessing both theoretical understanding and practical skills. The results indicate a statistically significant improvement in the experimental group’s performance, particularly in understanding the principles of renewable energy and applying them in electrical system installations. These findings highlight the pedagogical benefits of integrating renewable energy technologies into vocational curricula. The study suggests that using practical, real-world tools like solar panel trainers not only enhances learning outcomes but also equips students with relevant competencies for sustainability-driven industries.

Abstract

This study discusses the importance of integrating Guidance and Counseling (BK) in the Strengthening of Pancasila Student Profile (P5) Project at SMKN 1 Cilegon, as well as the factors that hinder the involvement of BK in this activity. P5 aims to internalize the values of Pancasila in students through a project-based approach, with a focus on character development and soft skills. However, the implementation of P5 at SMKN 1 Cilegon has not optimally involved BK. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach to analyze the factors that cause BK's lack of participation in P5, its impact on students' social-emotional development, and a comparison with practices at other schools that have successfully integrated BK into P5. The results of the study show that administrative barriers, a lack of understanding of the role of BK, and limited communication between teachers and school management are the main obstacles. The impact of BK's non-involvement includes a reduction in the effectiveness of P5 in supporting character education and diminishing students' ability to face social-emotional challenges. This study recommends enhancing administrative support, providing training for teachers and counselors, and improving coordination among school stakeholders so that BK can optimally contribute to achieving the goals of P5. Effective integration of BK is expected to support the holistic development of students in line with the values of Pancasila.
