Abstract

Law enforcement is an effort to uphold and implement the values of justice outlined in formal regulations. However, a significant obstacle often arises from the actions of law enforcement officers conflicting with existing laws. This article discusses law enforcement in Indonesia from the perspective of equality before the law, using a juridical-empirical research method through literature review. The results indicate several deviations in the law enforcement process that hinder the realization of the principle of equality before the law. One of the main causes is the morality of law enforcement officers themselves.

Abstract

Guilt is one of the fundamental principles in criminal law, which states that a person cannot be punished in the absence of guilt. A person is considered guilty if their inner attitude can be regretted for committing an unlawful act. The concept of guilt is a juridical concept, not a moral or social concept. Determining sanctions for someone who does not intentionally commit a criminal act, of course, will be different from someone who does it intentionally. Therefore, in imposing sanctions must look at the inner attitude or intention of the perpetrator. The research method used is normative juridical, with a statutory approach, as well as legal doctrines to answer the problems that occur and in order to produce new arguments, theories or concepts as a basis for solving the problems at hand.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of leadership style and work discipline on employee performance at Mcdonalds Pondok Aren Tangerang, both partially and simultaneously. The method used is quantitative. The sampling technique used Slovin sampling and the sample obtained in this study was 50 respondents. Data analysis uses validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, regression analysis, correlation coefficient analysis, coefficient of determination analysis and hypothesis testing. The results of this research are a discussion of the influence of leadership style (X1) and work discipline (X2) on employee performance (Y), as follows: leadership style (X1) has a significant effect on employee performance (Y) with the regression equation Y = 12.614 + 0.645 X1, the correlation coefficient value is 0.600 where the value is in the interval 0.600-0.799, meaning that the two variables have a strong level of relationship. The determination value is 35.9%. Hypothesis testing obtained a value of tcount > ttable or (value 5.190 > 2.010). Thus, H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, this shows that there is a significant influence between leadership style (X1) on employee performance (Y). Work discipline (X2) has a significant effect on employee performance (Y) with the regression equation Y = 15,954 + 0.473 The determination value is 31.7%. Hypothesis testing obtained a value of tcount > ttable or (4.719 > 2.010). Thus, H0 is rejected and H2 is accepted, this shows that there is a significant influence between work discipline (X2) on employee performance (Y). Leadership style (X1) and work discipline (X2) have a significant effect on employee performance (Y) with the regression equation Y = 10.711 + 0.438X1 + 0.212 X2. The correlation coefficient value is 0.621 where the value is in the interval 0.600-0.799, meaning that the two variables have a strong level of relationship. The determination value is 38.6%. Hypothesis testing obtained a value of fcount > ftable or (14,757 > 3,200). Thus, H0 is rejected and H3 is accepted, this shows that there is a significant simultaneous influence between leadership style (X1) and work discipline (X2) on employee performance (Y).

Abstract

The rapid development of Islamic economics in Indonesia demands an accounting system that is comprehensively with Islamic principles. This study aims to analyze the integration of Islamic accounting with Maqashid Sharia to produce a holistic and authentic accounting framework. Using a qualitative approach with a descriptive-interpretive design, this study involved 32 informants from practitioners, academics, regulators, and scholars in Jakarta, Yogyakarta, and Surabaya through in-depth interviews, document analyses, and participant observations. The results show that the implementation of Islamic accounting in Indonesia is still partial, with 78% of practitioners understanding only two of the five dimensions of Maqashid Sharia (hifz al-mal and hifz al-din), while a significant epistemological gap was found where 89% of practitioners still use the conventional accounting framework with minimal modification. The study successfully developed the Maqashid-based Holistic Performance Model (MHPM), which integrates the five dimensions of maqashid sharia in performance measurement, with model validation showing a 34% increase in stakeholder trust and 73% of institutions reporting improvements in more ethical governance. This study recommends a paradigm transformation from a compliance-based approach to a substance-based approach, the development of an integrated curriculum, the establishment of a Center of Excellence, and regulatory reform to support the implementation of Sharia accounting based on Maqashid Sharia, which can become a global role model.
