Abstract

Cognitive learning outcomes are the student's ability to understand a concept expressed in a score through a test. Cognitive learning outcomes are important learning outcomes as the basis for mastery of other abilities. The purpose of this study was to determine the cognitive learning outcomes of class XI IPA 2 students on the material of the human respiratory system. The research method used is a qualitative method using an instrument in the form of a multiple choice written test. The research was conducted on March 22, 2021. The subjects of this study were class XI IPA 2 with a total of 30 students. The data obtained is the result of students' cognitive learning on the material of the human respiratory system. The results obtained by an average value on the material of the human respiratory system are 27% of students in category A, 17% in category B, 30% with C criteria and 26% with D criteria. thus providing the achievement of better cognitive learning outcomes, the obstacle is the lack of direct interaction between educators and students. Abstrak. Hasil belajar kognitif merupakan kemampuan siswa dalam memahami suatu konsep yang di nyatakan dalam sebuah skor melalui tes. Hasil belajar kognitif merupakan hasil belajar yang penting sebagai dasar penguasaan kemampuan lainnya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas XI IPA 2 pada materi sistem pernapasan manusia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan instrumen berupa tes tertulis pilihan ganda. Penelitian di lakukan pada 22 Maret 2021. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kelas XI IPA 2 dengan jumlah sebanyak 30 siswa. Data yang di peroleh merupakan hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada materi sistem pernapasan manusia. Hasil yang di peroleh rata-rata nilai pada materi sistem pernapasan manusia yaitu 27% peserta didik berkategori A, 17% berkategori B, 30% berkriteria C dan 26% berkriteria D. Penggunaan metode Blended learning membantu peserta didik dalam menambah pengetahuan yang lebih luas, namun kendalanya adalah kurangnya interaksi secara langsung antara pendidik dan peserta didik.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the science process skills of students before and after the application of the 9E Learning cycle at home model through online learning on the subject of environmental pollution. This research uses an experimental method and this type of reseach uses a pre-experimental design. The instrument used was a science process skills test in the form of 14 multiple choice questions with 6 indicators of science process skills, namely 1) observing, 2) classifying, 3) measuring, 4) communicating, 5) concluding, 6) predicting. The population in this study was class VII semester 2 MTs Persatuan Islam Academic Year 2020/2021, with 21 female and 7 male students. The results showed that there was a significant difference in the students scicence process skills from before and after the 9E Learning Cycle at Home model was applied through online learning. The average percentage of N-Gain in increasing the achievement of students science process skills, which is 84%, is included in the high category. The highest percentage of N-Gain is obtained in indicator 4, which is 97%, while the lowest is in indicator 2, which is 71%, and the science process skills achieved by female students are superior to men, namely 94%:90%. This shows that learning about environmental pollution using the 9E learning cycle at home model through online learning can improve students science process skills and is useful for the continuity of the learning process. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keterampilan proses sains peserta didik sebelum dan setelah penerapan model 9E Learning Cycle at Home melalui pembelajaran daring pada pokok bahasan pencemaran lingkungan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dan jenis penilitiannya menggunakan pre-eksperimental design. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes keterampilan proses sains berupa soal pilihan ganda sebanyak 24 soal dengan 6 indikator keterampilan proses sains yaitu 1) Mengamati, 2) Mengklasifikasi, 3) Mengukur, 4) Mengomunikasikan, 5) Menyimpulkan, 6) Memprediksi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VII semester 2 MTs Persatuan Islam Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021, dengan peserta didik berjumlah 21 orang perempuan dan 7 orang laki-laki. Hasil penelitian bahwa adanya perbedaan signifikan terhadap keterampilan proses sains peserta didik dari sebelum dan setelah diterapkan model 9E Learning Cycle at Home melalui pembelajaran daring. Rata-rata persentase N-Gain peningkatan ketercapaian keterampilan proses sains peserta didik yaitu 84% termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Persentase N-Gain tertinggi didapat pada indicator 4 yaitu sebesar 97% sedangkan terendah pada indicator 2 yaitu 71%, dan keterampilan proses sains yang dicapai peserta didik perempuan lebih unggul dari laki-laki yaitu 94% : 90%. Hal ini menunjukkan dalam pembelajaran pada materi pencemaran lingkungan menggunakan model 9E Learning Cycle at Home melalui pembelajaran daring dapat meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik dan berguna untuk keberlangsungan proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the creative thinking skills of students after learning by using the Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematical, and Al-Qur'an (STEMA) approach to the Digestive System material. This type of research is pre-experimental with the research population being is Junior High School 8th grader. The sample of this research was selected using purposive sampling technique. The research design used in this study is a one group pretest-posttest design. The instrument used in this research is a description test of 5 questions, each of which has been declared valid and reliable. Based on the data prerequisite test, it is known that the pretest and posttest data are normally distributed and have the same variance (homogeneous). From the results of the analysis, it is known that the average value of the pretest and posttest in the experimental class is different, with the average value of the pretest being 30.47 while the posttest is 50.25. The results of hypothesis testing using paired t-test, namely the value of Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.000 < 0.05 then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. The conclusion obtained from this study is that there is an effect of the STEMA approach on the creative thinking ability of students on the Digestive System material. Key words: creative thinking ability, STEMA approach, Digestive System material Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik setelah pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematic, and Al-Qur’an (STEMA) pada materi Sistem Pencernan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pre-eksperimen dengan populasi penelitian 1 kelas VIII SMP. Sampel penelitian ini dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu one group pretest-posttest design. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah soal tes uraian sebanyak 5 soal yang masing-masing telah telah dinyatakan valid dan reliabel. Berdasarkan uji prasyarat data diketahui bahwa data pretest maupun posttest berdistribusi normal dan memiliki kesamaan varians (homogen). Dari hasil analisis diketahui bahwa nilai rata-rata pretest dan posttest di kelas eksperimen terdapat perbedaan, dengan nilai rata-rata pretest yaitu 30,47 sedangkan posttest 50,25. Hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan paired t-test yaitu nilai Sig. (2-tailed) adalah 0,000 < 0,05 maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini yaitu terdapat pengaruh pendekatan STEMA terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik pada materi Sistem Pencernaan. Abstract

This study aims to determine the profile of students' higher order thinking skills and scientific literacy in guided inquiry learning. ) assisted by a virtual lab, seeing the relationship between higher order thinking skills and scientific literacy based on the data obtained, as well as knowing the increase in higher order thinking skills and scientific literacy based on class groupings. The method used is descriptive quantitative analysis. The research subjects were students of SMAN 1 Nagrak totaling 30 students. The sampling technique is purposive sampling using an instrument in the form of multiple choice questions. The results of this study show the percentage of HOTS with a percentage of 87% (excellent criteria), and 81% scientific literacy (very good criteria). The two abilities are not influenced by gender because the average percentage of the value of the two is not much different. higher order thinking skills correlated with scientific literacy at the sig value. 0.000 and correlation coefficient 0.684 with a strong relationship strength. Guided inquiry learning is suitable for student asor groups in improving students' higher order thinking skills and superior groups for improving scientific literacy. Key words: Higher Order Thinking Skills, Scientific Literacy, Guided Inquiry, Virtual Lab ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil higher order thinking skills dan literasi sains siswa pada pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing (guided inquiry) berbantuan virtual lab, melihat hubungan higher order thinking skills dengan literasi sains berdasarkan data yang didapat, serta mengetahui peningkatan higher order thinking skils dan literasi sains berdasarkan pengelompokan kelas. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa SMAN 1 Nagrak berjumlah 30 peserta didik. Teknik sampling yaitu purposive sampling dengan menggunakan instrumen berupa soal pilihan ganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan presentase HOTS dengan presentase 87% (kriteria sangat baik), dan literasi sains 81% (kriteria sangat baik).Dari data tersebut disimpulkan HOTS dan literasi sains siswa dalam pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing  berbantuan virtual lab termasuk kedalam kriteria sangat baik. Kedua kemampuan tersebut tidak dipengaruhi oleh gender karena rata-rata presentase nilai keduanya tidak jauh berbeda. higher order thinking skills berkorelasi dengan literasi sains berada pada nilai sig. 0,000 dan correlation coefficient 0,684 dengan kekuatan hubungan kuat. Pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing cocok untuk kelompok asor siswa dalam meningkatkan higher order thinking skills siswa dan kelompok unggul untuk meningkatkan literasi sains. Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the level of scientific reasoning ability of high school students in class XI through the Creative Problem Solving Learning model on the respiratory system material. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method. The sample was not chosen at random but with a specific purpose, namely by using a purposive sampling technique, totaling 35 students. The research instrument used in this study is the question of scientific reasoning ability, a modification of the questions developed by Lawson, namely LCTRS (Lawson Classroom Test Of Scientific Reasoning). The questions used are 10 multiple choice questions with 6 indicators. The results of the study show that gender does not affect a person's scientific reasoning ability. The average score shows the level of scientific reasoning of male students and female students, which has the same percentage, namely 71%, which means that it is included in the good category. The highest score of the level of scientific reasoning in male students is the Correlation Reasoning indicator with a total percentage of 84% female students also the highest score is found in the correlation indicator but the percentage is slightly different, lower than male students, namely 82%. Key words: scientific reasoning, gender, creative problem solving   ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian yaitu untuk mengetahui tingkat kemampuan penalaran ilmiah siswa SMA kelas XI melalui model Pembelajaran Creative Problem Solving pada materi sistem pernapasan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel yang dipilih tidak secara acak melainkan dengan tujuan tertentu yaitu dengan Teknik Purposive sampling yang berjumlah 35 orang siswa. Instrument penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu soal kemampuan penalaran ilmiah modifikasi dari soal yang dikembangkan oleh Lawson yaitu LCTRS (Lawson Classroom Test Of Scientific Reasoning). Soal yang digunakan berjumlah 10 soal pilihan ganda beralasan dengan 6 indikator. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukan gender tidak mempengaruhi kemampuan penalaran ilmiah seseorang.  Skor rata-rata menunjukan tingkat penalaran ilmiah siswa laki-laki dan siswa perempuan yaitu memiliki persentase yang sama yaitu 71% yang artinya termasuk kedalam kategori baik. Skor tertinggi tingkat penalaran ilmiah pada siswa laki-laki yaitu pada indikator Penalaran korelasi dengan jumlah persentase 84% siswa perempuan juga skor tertingginya terdapat pada indikator korelasi tetapi jumlah persentase nya sedikit berbeda lebih rendah dari siswa laki-laki yaitu 82%.  Kata kunci: penalaran ilmiah, gender, creative problem soving

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of the Meaningful Instructional Design (MID) model on the level of germane cognitive load on high school students in XI degree. The research used pra-experimental method with One Group Pretest-Posttest design as a research design. The data was colected with a written test. The kind of instrument used is the Reasoning Test instrument to measure the score of Learning Outcomes (HB). The data analysis technique used statistical test and independent sample t-test. The sample in this study consisting of one class that was taken using a purpossive sampling technique, in XI MIPA 4 at SMAN 1 Nagrak. The GCL level of students after learned using the Meaningful Instructional Design model was in the tended to be high category with the average score of HB=73.68 and the acquisition of sig. (2-tailed) is 0.00<0.05 for the independent sample t-test result. Based on the students' average Learning Outcomes scores and sig. (2-tailed) on the hypothesis test, it can be concluded that there is a significant positive effect with the application of the Meaningful Instructional Design model on the germane cognitive load of high school students. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari penerapan model Meaningful Instructional Design (MID) terhadap tingkat beban kognitif konstruktif siswa SMA kelas XI. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah pra-experimental dengan desain penelitian One Group Pretest-Posttest. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes tertulis. Isntrumen yang digunakan yaitu instrumen Tes Penalaran untuk mengukur skor Hasil Belajar (HB). Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji statistik dan uji dua rerata (Independent Sample T-Test). Dengan sampel dalam penelitian ini yang terdiri dari satu kelas yang diambil menggunakan teknik purpossive sampling, yaitu pada kelas XI MIPA 4 di SMAN 1 Nagrak. Tingkat GCL siswa setelah mendapatkan prmbelajaran menggunakan model Meaningful Instructional Design (MID) berada dalam kategori cenderung tinggi dengan skor rata-rata HB=73.68 dan perolehan nilai sig. (2-tailed) 0,00<0,05 untuk hasil uji independent sample t-test. Berdasarkan nilai rata-rata Hasil Belajar siswa dan sig. (2-tailed) pada uji hipotesis dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan dari penerapan model Meaningful Instructional Design terhadap beban kognitif konstruktif siswa SMA. Abstract

This study is a quasi-experimental study aimed to determine the relationship between digital literacy skills and cognitive abilities using a blended learning model for class XI SMA Negeri 5 Sukabumi City in the 2021/2022 academic year. The research instrument is based on 4 components of digital literacy, namely 1) Internet Searching, 2) Hypertextual Navigation, 3) Content Evaluation, and 4) Knowledge Assembly. Then for the cognitive ability instrument, it refers to the Revised Bloom's Taxonomy in the form of multiple choice questions, with cognitive levels C1-C6 based on indicators of remembering (C1), understanding/understanding (C2), applying (C3), analyzing (C4), evaluating (C5), and create (C6). The results showed that there was no relationship between digital literacy and cognitive ability using gender-based blended learning with a peer correlation value of 0.832 for female and 0.768 for male, indicating a positive relationship with a strong correlation category. Key words: digital literacy, cognitive ability, blended learning, gender   ABSTRAK Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kemampuan literasi digital dan kemampuan kognitif menggunakan model blended learning kelas XI SMA Negeri 5 Kota Sukabumi tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Instrumen penelitian disusun berdasarkan 4 komponen literasi digital yaitu 1) Internet Searching, 2) Hypertextual Navigation, 3) Content Evaluation, dan 4) Knowledge Assembly. Kemudian untuk instrumen kemampuan kognitif merujuk pada Taksonomi Bloom Revisi berupa soal pilihan ganda, dengan jenjang kognitif C1-C6 berdasarkan indikator mengingat (C1), memahami/mengerti (C2), menerapkan (C3), menganalisis (C4), mengevaluasi (C5), dan menciptakan (C6). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak adanya hubungan antara literasi digital dengan kemampuan kognitif menggunakan blended learning berbasis gender dengan nilai paerson corelation 0,832 untuk jenis kelamin perempuan dan 0,768 untuk laki-laki dengan menunjukan adanya hubungan positif dengan kategori korelasi kuat. Abstract

This study aims to see how the habits of mind of students with the application of the inquiry lesson learning model. Inquiry lesson is one of the stages of Levels of Inquiry (LoI) Wenning (2010). Using the Pre-experimental method. with One Group Posttest only design. Habits of mind according to Costa and Kallick (2012) which consists of 16 indicators. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 01 Cigombong Bogor class X MIPA 5 academic year 2021/2022 in the subject of Ecosystem Biology. The research instrument used was the Habits of mind questionnaire which consisted of 43 statements given after the learning process with the inquiry lesson. The results showed that the application of the inquiry lesson model had a good influence on the habits of mind of students. It is proven in the acquisition of an n-gain score of 0.05, which means that there is a low increase, and the average percentage value per indicator is 76%. Key words: Inquiry lesson, application, habits of mind, ecosystem   ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana habits of mind peserta didik dengan penerapan model pembelajaran inquiry lesson. Inquiry lesson merupakan salah satu tahapan dari Levels of Inquiry (LoI) Wenning (2010). Menggunakan metode Pra- eksperiment dengan desain One Group Postest only. Habits of mind yang digunakan menurut Costa dan Kallick (2012) yang terdiri dari 16 indikator. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu angket Habits of mind yang terdiri dari 43 pernyataan yang diberikan setelah proses pembelajaran dengan inquiry lesson. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan model inquiry lesson memiliki pengaruh baik terhadap habits of mind peserta didik. Dibuktikan dalam perolehan skor n-gain sebesar 0,05 yang artinya terdapat peningkatan rendah, serta rata-rata nilai persentase per-indikator sebesar 76% . Abstract

This study aims to analyze the critical thinking ability of high school students using the Inquiry Based Learning model assisted by sukuraga puppet media on the sensory system material. This study used a study sample of 35 students. The type of research used in this study is pre-experimental with a pretest posttest one group design research design. This research was conducted as many as 2 meetings using the Inquiry Based Learning learning model assisted by Wayang Sukuraga media. The research instruments used are 8 items of description questions with indicators that include 5 indicators of critical thinking, namely 1) Providing simple explanations, 2) Making further explanations, 3) Building basic skills, 4) Making inferences, 5) Setting strategies and techniques. The results showed an increase after being given treatment for students' critical thinking abilities. This can be seen by the increase in posttest results based on 5 critical thinking indicators of 85.8. The N-Gain score in this study was 0.64 which belonged to the "moderate" category. This shows that the Inquiry Based Learning learning model assisted by Wayang Sukuraga media can improve students' critical thinking skills. Keywords: Critical Thinking Ability, Indra System, Inquiry Based Learning Model, Wayang Sukuraga Media   ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMA menggunakan model Inquiry Based Learning berbantua media wayang Sukuraga pada materi sistem indra. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel penelitian sebanyak 35 peserta didik. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pra-eksperimental dengan desain penelitian pretest posttest one group design. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak 2 kali pertemuan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Inquiry Based Learning berbantuan media Wayang Sukuraga.Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah 8 butir soal uraian dengan indikator yang meliputi 5 indikator berpikir kritis yaitu 1) Memberikan penjelasan sederhana, 2) Membuat penjelasan lebih lanjut, 3) Membangun keterampilan dasar, 4) Membuat inferensi, 5) Mengatur strategi dan teknik. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan setelah diberikannya perlakuan terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Hal ini dapat dilihat dengan meningkatnya hasil posttest berdasarkan 5 indikator berpikir kritis sebesar 85,8. Skor N-Gain yang pada penelitian ini sebesar 0,64 yang termasuk kategori “sedang”. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Inquiry Based Learning berbantuan media Wayang Sukuraga dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik.
