Abstract

Pendahuluan: Gizi sangat berperan dalam tumbuh kembang anak. Tujuan pemberian gizi yang baik adalah mencapai tumbuh kembang anak yang adekuat. Pada bayi dan anak,kekurangan gizi akan menimbulkan gangguan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan yang apabilatidak diatasi secara dini akan berlanjut hingga dewasa. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuanuntuk mengetahui hubungan pemberian Air Susu Ibu Eksklusif dengan status gizi baduta usia6-24 bulan. Metode: Jenis penelitian penelitian yang digunakan adalah oservasional analitikdengan menggunakan rancangan penelitian cross sectional dengan jumlah sampel yangdidapatkan sebanyak 108 anak. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapathubungan antara pemberian ASI Eksklusif dengan status gizi berdasarkan Berat BadanMenurut Umur (p=0,457), tidak terdapat hubungan antara pemberian ASI Eksklusif denganstatus gizi berdasarkan Panjang Badan Menurut Umur (p=0,929), dan terdapat hubunganpemberian ASI Eksklusif dengan status gizi Berdasarkan Berat Badan Menurut PanjangBadan (p=0,041). Kesimpulan: Pemberian ASI Eksklusif memiliki hubungan dengan statusgizi baduta berdasarkan indikator berat badan menurut panjang badan (BB/PB) tetapi tidakdemikian untuk status gizi berdasarkan indikator berat badan menurut umur (BB/U) sertapanjang badan menurut umur (PB/U).

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Hipertensi sering juga disebut sebagai silent killer. Prevalensi hipertensi diIndonesia menurut data Riskesdas 2018 pada usia 18 – 24 tahun sebesar 13,2%, usia 25 – 34tahun sebesar 20,13% dan usia 35 – 44 tahun sebesar 31,61%. Tujuan : Penelitian inibertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara asupan makan dan kualitas tidur dengantekanan darah pada mahasiswa overweight Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat UniversitasHasanuddin. Bahan dan Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian observasionalanalitik dengan desain cross sectional. Sampel penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa overweightusia ≥ 18 tahun dengan sampel sebanyak 76 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampling ialahdengan menggunakan teknik total sampling, Hasil: Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan bahwasebanyak 76 mahasiswa overweight Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat Universitas Hasanuddinmemiliki asupan lemak kurang sebanyak 56,6%, asupan serat kurang sebanyak 100%, asupannatrium kurang sebanyak 85,5%, asupan kalium kurang sebanyak 100%, kemudian mayoritasmemiliki kualitas tidur buruk sebanyak 80,3% serta memiliki tekanan darah sistolik normalsebanyak 65,8% dan tekanan darah diastolik normal sebanyak 51,3%. Hasil uji chi squareyang dilakukan menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan signifikan antara asupan makandengan tekanan darah (p>0,05) dan tidak terdapat hubungan signifikan antara kualitas tidurdengan tekanan darah (p>0,05). Kesimpulan: Tidak terdapat hubungan antara asupan makan(asupan lemak, serat, natrium dan kalium) dan kualitas tidur dengan tekanan darah padamahasiswa overweight Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat Universitas Hasanuddin.

Abstract

Introduction: Nutritional status is an important factor affecting mental health and the development of psychiatric disorders. However, there are quite limited research on nutritional status and mental health and there are a variety of results from these epidemiological studies. Aim: This study aimed to find out overview of nutritional status and the insidence of common mental disorders in nutrition students at Public Health Faculty of Hasanuddin University. Methods: The study was conducted toward 165 nutrition students at Public Health Faculty of Hasanuddin University. Data were collected via online using questionnaire with the help of Google Form application. Nutritional status is determined based on BMI and BMI-for-age indicators calculated from respondent’s weight and height data. The measurement of common mental disorders was carried out using the Depression, Anxiety, Stress Scales (DASS-42) questionnaire. Furthermore, descriptive analysis was carried out using the SPSS 22 program. Results: Nutrition students at Public Health Faculty of Hasanuddin University generally have good/normal nutritional status (66,4%). More students experienced common mental disorders (77,0%). Based on the nutritional status, respondents who experienced common mental disorders were most in the group of malnutrition/very thin (100%) and obese respondents (100%). Similar results were obtained in the gourp of anxious respondents. Meanwhile, most of depressed respondents were in the obese group (50%). Conclusion: Nutrition students at Public Health Facultyof Hasanuddin University who experienced common mental disorders tend to have malnutrition/very thin and obesity nutritional status. Further research is required to understand the association of nutritional status and the incidence of common mental disorders.

Abstract

Introduction: Adolescents need higher nutrition because of significant physical growth and body development, so adolescents need adequate food not only in terms of quantity but also in terms of quality. Adolescents tend to do the wrong eating behavior, that is the nutrients consumed do not suit their needs. Purpose: This study aims to determine the level of consumption and nutritional status of boarding school students at SMAN 5 Gowa. Material and Method: This type of research is observational with a descriptive research design. The sample of this study were 139 people using the Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique. Retrieval of consumption level data using 24-hour recall method. The determination of nutritional status is obtained from BMI / U parameters. Data processing and analysis in this research is univariate. Results: The results of the analysis revealed that the level of consumption for the respondents' macronutrient intake was still lacking namely less energy intake of 90.6%, less carbohydrates by 93.5%, less fat by 88.5% and less protein by 73.4%. The micronutrient intake of respondents was also lacking, namely vitamin A intake by 66.2%, vitamin B1 lacking by 94.2%, vitamin B12 by 88.5%, folate less by 99.3%, calcium less by 97.8%, iron less by 92.8% and zinc less by 92.8%. Whereas the nutritional status of respondents was classified as normal at 64.7%, very thin at 2.2% and obesity at 4.3%. Conclusion: The level of consumption of respondents for macro and micronutrient intake is still less than the recommended RDA needs and the respondent's nutritional status is normal.

Abstract

Introduction: Children of primary school age are prone to nutritional problems, one ofwhich is over nutrition. Globally, the prevalence of over nutrition children increased byaround 47.1%, while in Indonesia it increased to 10.8% and 9.2%. Abstract

Pendahuluan: Baduta yang stunting merupakan hasil dari masalah gizi kronik sebagai akibat dari asupan makanan yang kurang, ditambah dengan penyakit infeksi, dan masalahlingkungan. Baduta stunting dalam jangka pendek dapat mengalami perkembangan yangterhambat, penurunan fungsi kognitif, penurunan fungsi kekebalan tubuh hingga gangguansistem pembakaran dan pada jangka panjang yaitu pada masa dewasa dapat menimbulkanrisiko penyakit degeneratif. Tujuan : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubunganantara sanitasi lingkungan dan riwayat penyakit infeksi dengan kejadian stunting pada anakbaduta. Bahan dan Metode : Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian desain cross sectional.Sampel yang diambil adalah semua bayi 6-23 bulan yang berada di wilayah kerja PuskesmasPatimpeng Kab. Bone yang berjumlah 125 orang dengan teknik pengambilan sampelpurposive sampling. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis univariat dan bivariat. Hasil :Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 25,6% anak yang menderita stunting. Berdasarkanhasil uji statistik menggunakan chi square dan fisher’s, pada variabel sanitasi lingkunganmenunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan antara sarana air bersih, sarana pembuangan tinja,tempat pembuangan sampah dan saluran pembuangan air limbah dengan kejadian stuntingpada anak usia 6-23 bulan dengan masing-masing nilai p (0,270), (0,161), (1,000) dan(0,148). Sedangkan pada variabel riwayat penyakit infeksi juga menunjukkan tidak terdapathubungan antara riwayat diare dan riwayat infeksi saluran pernapasan (ISPA) dengankejadian stunting pada anak usia 6-23 bulan dengan masing-masing nilai p (0,679) dan(0,839).

Abstract

Introduction: Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disease characterized by high blood sugar levels (hyperglycemia), so the blood sugar levels of DM patients need to be controlled. One way of controlling DM is to take medication, but there are still many patients who are not compliant during treatment so that blood sugar becomes uncontrolled. Objective: To determine the correlation between medication compliance and blood glucose in Type II DM patients in the Tamalanrea Public Health Center working area. Methods: This study used a cross-sectional design. The sample is 85 patients with Type II DM in the working area of ​​the Tamalanrea Health Center which were selected by simple random sampling. The instruments used in the study were MMAS-8 to measure compliance with medication consumption and the Easy Touch GCU tool to measure blood glucose. Results: The results showed that most of the patients had a low level of medication compliance (61.2%). The majority had uncontrolled blood sugar (77.6%). The results of the chi-square test showed a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05). Conclusion: There was a correlation between medication compliance and blood glucose in Type II DM patients in the working area of ​​the Tamalanrea Health Center. Abstract

Introduction : The daily diet of preconception women can affect their nutritional status and health status. Objective: To assess the description of functional food consumption intake in preconceptional women in North Polongbangkeng District, Takalar Regency. Methods: This type of research is a descriptive study where consumption patterns are measured using the FFQ (food frequency questions) questionnaire. Functional foods are divided into seven groups, namely staple foods, animal side dishes, vegetable side dishes, vegetables, fruits, drinks and spices. Sampling used purposive sampling technique. The number of samples was 67 preconception women from North Polongbangkeng District, Takalar Regency. Results: The subjects were 67 people with the highest age being 18-25 years (62.7%), the highest length of education having graduated from high school (53.7%) with the majority of the subjects being Muslim (100%) and ethnic Makassar (98.5%) and most of the work in IRT (64.1%). Based on each functional food group the most frequently consumed were corn (14.6), fish (42.0), tempe (15.9), kale (18.2), mango (29.5), honey (8,2), shallots (44.9). Conclusion: All types of functional food that are often consumed are the types of food that are easiest to obtain around the home environment, are generally available in the market at affordable prices and have good nutritional content and bioactive compounds to maintain health and are abundant in the area. Suggestion: Increase the consumption of vegetables and fruits more and eat nutritious foods.
