Abstract

Today, technology has become ours primary need. The ease of getting or giving information by using technology make people do their jobs easily. Diponegoro University Choir (PSM) is one of choir that have good reputation in local, national and international. But PSM do not have any official website that can gives information to the people. Every years, the number of recruits is increasing, and the process of registeration is still done manually. Based on that problem, the organization needs an web-based Information System and SMS gateway to support information giving process and its own member data maintenance.The Information System is built using PHP Framework Codeignitier language program, javascript for the dynamic appearance, and MySQL for the database. The System’s development process uses waterfall method. This method is included with analysis of needs, analysis, design, implementation and testing. The model of system is built using object oriented UML (Unified Modeling Language) includes Use Case diagram, Class diagram and Sequence diagram

Abstract

Listrik merupakan hal yang sangat penting di kehidupan kita. Setiap pekerjaan kita pasti dibantu dengan adanya listrik. Mulai dari penerangan hingga pengaturan suhu ruangan pun semuanya dibantu oleh listrik. Ketergantungan manusia terhadap listrik ini menimbulkan kebiasaan buruk. Banyak orang yang terkadang membiarkan suatu peralatan elektronik hidup pada saat tidak dibutuhkan. Terjadi suatu permasalahan untuk menciptakan suatu desain sistem embedded untuk mengendalikan peralatan elektronik dalam rumah secara otomatis. Makalah ini membahas tentang perancangan sistem pengendali peralatan elektronik dalam rumah secara otomatis. Sistem terdiri dari sensor PIR yang berfungsi untuk mendeteksi objek bergerak (manusia), sensor LM35 yang berfungsi untuk mendeteksi suhu, dan sensor LDR berfungsi sebagai sensor cahaya. Mikrokontroller ATMega16 sebagai pengendali jalannya sistem dari pembacaan sensor, menampilkan data sensor pada LCD dan mengatur kontak relay untuk menghidup dan mematikan listrik. Sistem pengendali peralatan elektronik dalam rumah secara otomatis menunjukan sensor LDR dapat membedakan gelap dan terang, sensor suhu LM35 dapat mendeteksi suhu dalam ruangan dengan toleransi kesalahan pembacaan kurang lebih 2o Celcius, dan sensor PIR dapat mendeteksi pergerakan manusia sejauh 5 meter.

Abstract

Teknologi augmented reality pada masa kini sedang menjadi tren dalam pembuatan aplikasi mobile, baik untuk aplikasi hiburan maupun aplikasi pembelajaran. Salah satu jenis augmented reality yang sedang digemari adalah location based service augmented reality. Jenis AR ini berguna untuk menentukan dan mengidentifikasi lokasi suatu tempat, seperti pada aplikasi tugas akhir ini yang merupakan denah ruangan yang terdapat di SMPN 36 Purworejo. Selain dapat membantu masyarakat dalam mencari ruangan di sekolah hanya dengan menggunakan ponsel Android, aplikasi ini juga menyajikan tampilan denah sekolah yang modern kepada pengguna. Perangkat lunak yang digunakan untuk membuat aplikasi ini yaitu Platform Junaio yang menyediakan pengalaman augmmented reality berdasarkan teknologi XML. Tahap perancangan dimulai dengan merancang konsep aplikasi, mengidentifikasi kebutuhan data, dan survei lokasi. Tahap implementasi dilakukan dengan membangun dan mengembangkan aplikasi sesuai dengan rancangan yang sudah dibuat. Tahap ini meliputi implementasi sistem pada perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak. Tahap pengujian dilakukan dengan metode black box serta dilakukan pengujian Beta secara langsung kepada 15 responden. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ini dapat berjalan dengan baik pada sistem operasi Android versi Jelly Bean. Fungsi- fungsi pada aplikasi juga dapat bekerja dengan baik dan sesuai dengan fungsinya masing-masing. Berdasarkan penilaian yang diberikan oleh 15 responden, aplikasi AR denah sekolah ini dinilai menarik, mudah dipahami dan digunakan, serta mampu membantu masyarakat dalam mencari lokasi ruangan di sekolah. Hal ini terlihat pada semua aspek penilaian, yang mendapatkan persentase rata-rata 90%. Aplikasi ini dapat digunakan sebagai suatu inovasi teknologi untuk denah sekolah berteknologi LBS AR dan berbasis Android.

Abstract

Notary is a judicial officer who is authorized to make an authentic deed and agreements of individuals, institutions, or land properties. In the daily work, Notary records customer data and work data. However, the result of recording data manually makes Notary overwhelmed in data processing, causing task completion time becomes longer. The Notary Information System is designed using Waterfall methodology using PHP programming language, Code Igniter framework, and MySQL database. Analysis of system requirements is is conducted by interviewing the Notary, so the design is appropriate and well targeted. This research produces an information system that is capable of recording type of work data, customer data, land, property data, employment data, income and outcome data, and data revenue recapitulation in the form of text and graphics data. This information system design also has an additional functions that notifies the clients about the completed work via E-mail and SMS. This information system design was tested using the black box method, and the results of these tests indicate that all functions in the system have been running well.

Abstract

Information technology development today resulted in the growing number of internet users. Easy access of the internet makes it as a media presentation of data to both individuals and institutions. It is similar with Computer System major that has taken advantage of the Internet to provide a variety of information to both academic and community service in the field of information technology. But it is still using manual method to organize and inventory data associated with the On-Job Training (KP) and Final Project (TA) in a site. One way to ease the data organization is to design an information system that can record and organize all the data held by the Computer System. Design and Implementation phase begins with system requirement analysis. Its objection is to get a proper system specification. In design phase, Data Flow Diagram is used to represent data in a logic way. The result from design phase then implements with PHP programming language, associated with Database Management System MySQL, and Javascript to generate a dynamic web-based information system. The previous research “Perancangan Sistem Informasi Seminar dan Tugas Akhir Mahasiswa Jurusan Teknik Elektro Undip” was to organize database final project consist of schedule, seminar schedule, and test schedule. It used Unified Modeling Language (UML) consist of use case and activity diagram. The users of this information system were two, that were called admin and student. The result from information testing showed that all features like organizing students data, organizing teacher data, printing KP and TA data, uploading KP and TA data, alerting KP and TA coordinator about the schedule of the students worked well. The current research use Entity Relationship Diagram model system. This information system has five users, that are admin, student, teacher, KP coordinator, and TA coordinator.

Abstract

Today, the growth of technology is very fast and a lot of technology that can facilitate users in helping their activity is made. A technology need a server to store both systems and users data. More users needed more servers to store user data. The server room became full and needed the extra space so that it required high cost to build the server and the server space itself. The purpose of this research is to create an IaaS based server virtualization that is connected to a router, switch, virtual client and administrator with VirtualBox application. The purpose of this research can be achieved by designing an appropriate research’s methodology. There are 5 stages of implementation/methodology in building virtualization server at this research which are the system definition, requirements specification, system configuration, system testing, and system analysis. First, phase of the definition system is by describing a system of early identification, system requirements and network topology on the implemented system. The second phase is the specification requirements to determine specifications hardware and software. The hardware consists of a computer with resources 8GB RAM and AMD Phenom II X6 as a processor. The software consists of VirtualBox and operating systems. The third stage is the system configuration to declare the source code in application on each server, routers and switches to perform the function of each device. The final stage is system testing and system analysis by checking the system is ready to use and works the best. Results in this research show IaaS-based server virtualization can be connected to display a web page on all clients through virtual switches and routers on a computer.

Abstract

The environmental condition in a large areas often requires the monitoring. For example, in the case of greenhouse were used to cultivation experiments, fertilization experiments, plant resistance experiments, tissue culture experiments, experimental planting of crops in the off-season, and it needs equipment to monitor and control the environmental conditions to suit the characteristics required environment. The extent of land that is must be monitored, making it needs distribute the monitor at some point so that monitoring of environmental conditions can cover the entire desired area. This is the basis for the design of wireless sensor network for monitoring temperature and humidity using the communication module nRF24L01 +. The system consists of hardware for measuring the temperature and humidity at some point in a certain area. The system is divided into several sections that is referred to as nodes. Node in the system is divided into two functions, namely the sensor node and the concentrator node.. There are two the sensor nodes which will serve to data of temperature and humidity in separate areas and transmit data to the concentrator node. The communication between nodes is done using a module nRF24L01+. The design of communication protocol designed to connect between nodes concentrator with a sensor node capable of running properly. This makes the system capable of monitoring temperature and humidity through a web page, so it can be known conditions of temperature and humidity at some point at the maximum range of 93 meters.

Abstract

Semakin canggih dan berkembangnya teknologi informasi di berbagai aspek kehidupan, meniscayakan perguruan tinggi sebagai institusi pengembang ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi (IPTEK) untuk merespon positif. Hal ini akan berdampak juga dalam perkembangan perangkar keras yang secara tidak langsung harus mengikuti perkembangan teknologi informasi yang ada sehingga akan dilakukan penambahan perangkat yang akan menyebabkan penambahan biaya untuk membeli perangkat yang baru. Hal tersebut dapat dipenuhi dengan menggunakan teknologi cloud computing. Cloud computing merupakan model komputasi, dimana sumber daya seperti daya komputasi, penyimpanan, jaringan dan perangkat lunak disediakan sebagai laayanan di internet. Sumber daya komputasi tersebut dapat dipenuhi oleh layanan layanan cloud Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).Infrastructure as a Service tersebut dibangun dengan menngunakan Infrastruktur Cloud Ubuntu. Sistem Operasi yang digunakan adalah Ubuntu Server 12.04 LTS dan serta perangkat lunak yang digunakan untuk membangun infrastruktur adalah OpenStack versi essex. Hasil dari tugas akhir ini adalah terciptanya mesin virtual berdasarkan spesifikasi CPU, memory, dan disk yang dipilih melalui flavor yaitu m1.tiny dengan spesifikasi memori 512 MB, disk 0 GB, ephemeral 0 GB, vCPU 1. Image yang digunakan pada instance adalahsServer Ubuntu 12.04.3 LTS. Kecepatan CPU yang didapat pada mesin virtual tersebut adalah 3000,106 MHz. Penggunaan CPU pada instance dengan nama “webserver” meliputi 0,3% dengan sisa 0,97%, Memori 422764k dari total keseluruhan 503496.

Abstract

Generally, blind people use a cane to know the distance around them. A cane was normally use when they walk outdoors, but if the cane used in indoors; it is not used because of fear of damaging the goods-glassware. Another disadvantage of the stick was usually used just to feel the objects / obstacles below the blinds, and other obstacles such as cars or trucks, which often not detected by the cane. Blind people also have constraints to determine the distance of nearby objects, such as people to talk to, etc. The main component of the system is sensor HC-SR04 used to scan the surrounding area by emitting ultrasonic waves. Echoes from objects were use as an input to microcontroller, and then it used to determine the direction and the distance of objects around the blinds using the servo arm movement and buzzer sound. The design of the device utilizes the theory of sound waves velocity in the air, and it was carried out in several steps. The first step is making the hardware device, which uses sensor HC-SR04, micro servo Tower Pro, and power supply of nine Volt battery. The test result shows that the system is able to detect objects with a range of 60 degrees. The design of the device was valuable because it is wearable which can be attached to the back of the hands. Conceptually, the device has met the basic criteria that detect objects and give feedback to the user. Some things that can be improved are power supply and increasing device responsibility so it is able to read distance and give feedback more accurately and more quickly.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang sangat pesat, membuat teknologi telekomunikasi semakin berkembang. Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN), Global System for Mobiles (GSM) dan internet adalah teknologi terkini dalam memenuhi kebutuhan seseorang dalam berkomunikasi. Di sebagian besar implementasinya, penyedia layanan PSTN dan GSM memberikan sebuah tarif dalam setiap panggilan yang terjadi. Perancangan dan pembangunan sistem ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan sebuah sistem telekomunikasi berbasis VoIP, yang dapat menghubungkan jaringan lokal, GSM dan internet secara terpusat, demi memenuhi kebutuhan komunikasi seseorang dengan mobilitas tinggi disertai fleksibilitas pengaturan alur panggilan, untuk menghemat anggaran penggunaan layanan telekomunikasi. Metodologi penelitian tugas akhir ini dibagi menjadi 4 tahapan. Tahapan tersebut diantaranya adalah definisi sistem, spesifikasi kebutuhan, konfigurasi sistem dan pengujian sistem. Definisi sistem dibuat dengan mendefinisikan gambaran dan cara kerja sistem secara umum. Spesifikasi kebutuhan dibuat dengan menyesuaikan kebutuhan perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak yang dibutuhkan oleh sistem. Konfigurasi dilakukan untuk mengimplementasikan pengaturan mengenai dialplan, Interactive Voice Response (IVR) dan kotak suara. Pengujian sistem adalah tahap untuk memeriksa keseluruhan fungsi pada sistem. Sistem ini diuji dengan melakukan panggilan dari setiap klien. Hasil dari pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu memenuhi kebutuhan komunikasi seseorang dengan mobilitas tinggi. Fleksibilitas pengaturan panggilan membuat sistem dapat berkomunikasi dengan jaringan GSM dan VoIP Rakyat serta dapat menghemat tarif penggunaan layanan telekomunikasi. Sistem juga dapat mencatat aktivitas panggilan dengan memanfaatkan fitur Call Detail Record (CDR). Penelitian ini dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif bagi perkantoran maupun instansi, untuk menggunakan layanan telekomunikasi secara terpusat, agar penghematan anggaran dalam penggunaan telekomunikasi menjadi lebih efisien.
